Taking Control

"There it is." Drake said as he looked at Zeref's castle in Alvarez. Several magic projectiles hit him and he emerged from the smoke as a dragon. He launched a breath attack and wiped the castle away before making his way back to Ishgar. It took him longer than he would have liked to make it to Mira's location.

"There's too many of th-" Lily was cut off by the sudden explosions that wiped out most of the army. They looked up to see that Drake had fired the attacks but his attention had turned elsewhere. He flew off and their jaws dropped.

"Where the hell is he going?!" Elfman asked as Drake disappeared into the distance. Mira knew the only reason he would leave them would be because something bigger was happening. As he got closer to his target he saw a man and woman looking at each other. The man looked up as Drake returned to his human form and landed next to them.

"Well it seems that both of the Kings have joined the fight." The red haired woman said as the two men stared at each other.

"I haven't seen your human form Acnologia." Drake said as a giant fireball began to fly towards them. Drake and Acnologia, without breaking eye contact, raised their hands towards it and Eileen watched it explode.

"You came to me willingly Dragon?" Acnologia asked with a stoic face.

"I came here to have a conversation." Drake explained and Eileen decided it was in her best interest to not interfere.

"What is it you want then?" Acnologia asked him calmly and Drake turned to leave.

"When I'm finished with Alvarez I want us to finish what you started." Drake said before the ground began to glow. When the light faded Drake was in a completely different area and had no clue where it was. He closed his eyes and focused in an attempt to find one of his friends. He found Mira's power and flew towards her. As he reached her location he saw August pierce her heart with a small magic beam. August, Brandish and Eileen turned around as Drake roared and transformed into a dragon.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Drake yelled and his voice alone caused the ground to shake violently, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY MIRA!"

"This isn't good August!" Eileen told him as she looked at Drake with wide eyes.

"Why is that?" August asked as Drake fired a breath attack and forced then away from Mira.

"He is in the same league as Acnologia!" Eileen explained as Darke flew towards them but instead of attacking he landed in front of Mira, "I was there while they were talking and they destroyed my attack with even looking at it!"

"He must be quite the foe if you sound this scared Eileen." August said as he watched Drake carefully. Drake returned to his human form and kneeled next to Mira. He noticed her wound was no longer there and he made the assumption that Brandish had shrunk it.

"Leave my presence now." Drake told them as he looked over his shoulder, "If you intend to fight me then be prepared to die."

"We will head your warning but do not think we will surrender this war." August told him and Drake nodded his head. He already knew that would be the case but right now Mira was his top priority.

"Don't think for a second that taking Mira would be a good idea either." Drake said as he picked her up, "Destroying that castle of yours won't be the last thing I do if you try it."

"What?!" August asked as Drake shot into the sky and headed straight for Lisanna's power. Mira woke up halfway there and looked at him in surprise.

"Where are August and those two women?" Mira asked him as she looked around and realized they were flying. She took a deep breath and calmed her nerves.

"They backed down when I showed up. Do you know where Maya is right now?" Drake asked her as he landed next to Lisanna.

"Porlyusica has her." Lisanna explained and he sighed in relief. They knew they could trust Porlyusica to keep her out of danger and that was all they needed.

"Then it's time for us to finish this war then." Drake told them as they made their way to the front lines. They met up with the rest of Fairy Tail and even members from the other guilds. Several of the Spriggan 12 were also there including the one that Drake had killed. He wasn't Drake's concern at the moment though. He locked eyes with God Serena and Serena sent a massive attack at him. Drake stood still as the attack was destroyed before it reached him. Drake looked to his right and saw Gildarts standing by his side.

"We've never fought side by side before." Drake said with a smirk and Serena began to look annoyed.

"We'll we're not ones for teaming up but let's kick this guy's ass." Gildarts said and they rushed for Serena. Serena sent out another massive attack and Gildarts destroyed it again. Drake appeared from the smoke and launched Serena towards him. They watched as Gildarts launched him into the distance and instantly defeated him.

"Well that was disappointing." Drake said as they watched the army charge towards them.

"If he was at his original strength then it would have been more enjoyable. Let's deal with these small fry in one go." Gildarts said as he and Drake built up magic in their hands and pulled them behind there backs while pushing them together. A giant magic circle appeared at their feet and the others looked at them in awe.

"Everyone get down! It's a Unison Raid!" Erza yelled and they all ran for cover. The circle got bigger and the ground at their feet began to crack.

"How is it possible for their magic to blend like that?!" Cana asked as the magic in their hands began to form a sphere, "Gildarts's magic destroys everything!"

"I believe it's because Drake's does as well! Think of an immovable object meeting an unstoppable force!" Erza explained as Drake and Gildarts launched their attack. The area in front of them was covered in a blinding light before collapsing in on itself. Everyone was confused for a moment before a blood red explosion rocked the area and destroyed everything in the vicinity.

"Let's get to the Guild." Gildarts said as he and Drake turned around to face them. Their eyes widened when they saw Makarov put his hands together to launch Fairy Law.

"No!" Drake yelled and tried to run forward but Gildarts held him back. Gildarts shook his head and Drake hit his knees as he watched Fairy Law destroy their enemies. Gildarts put his hand on Drake's shoulder and nodded to him. Drake wiped his face and stood tall as everyone turned to hear what he would say.

"Master may be gone but he left us with a chance!" Drake yelled and everyone remained silent t in their grief, "ARE YOU GONNA LET THIS CHANCE SLIP AWAY OR ARE YOU GOING TO STAND PROUD LIKE FAIRY TAIL HAS ALWAYS DONE! NOW LET'S TAKE OUR GUILD BACK!"

"You really do make a great leader." Gildarts told Drake as they watched everyone yell and charge for Magnolia, "There's no way they would have listened to me like that."
