Heist starts
The next day Shola sent the information to Timothy as promised, after going through the whole information Timothy made a plan and invited them to meet at 2 pm
When everyone came, Timothy did not waste time telling them the plans.
"I went through all the information we have and I made a plan, we need to have a camera in the CCTV room so we know what the security chief is doing at all times"
"And to do this, we'll have to get into the CCTV room, the only way to do this is to get permission to enter inside using a cleaner's identity to sweep the place," Timothy said.
"But the museum already has a cleaner Mrs. Eko Dennis, she has been working on it for years now what do we do about it?" Shola asked Timothy.
"Simple, we replace her for a week, then you can take over," Timothy told Shola.
"How is that possible, I mean how do we do it?" Frederick asked Timothy.
"Hmm what do you think of Mrs. Dennis getting hurt and not walking for a few days or a week and Shola applying for a temporary position at the museum until she returns," Timothy suggested
"That's reasonable, but how do we hurt the woman," Frederick asked Timothy.
"We'll attack her at home tonight pretending to be burglars and steal a thing or two, along the process we hurt her in the leg making her unable to walk for a while Shola applies for the role immediately the museum starts looking for a cleaner," Timothy added
"That's all for now, what do you think about it?" Timothy asked the duo
"I think it's okay" Frederick concord
"I agree with the plan, but be careful, don't hurt the woman too much," Shola said
Later in the night, Timothy and Frederick make the plan at the woman's house and succeed, the next day the museum begins to look for a replacement for the Cleaner, Shola applies with a well-documented profile, she gets the job and the operation goes smoothly.
Frederick drove all three of them to the museum so Shola could start working immediately that morning.
"So, let's make the plan, once you enter the CCTV room, you're planting a bug in their system so we can get access to all the museum's cameras and add another one so we can always see what's going on in the CCTV room," Timothy told Shola.
"Okay I'm going inside now, see you later,"
Shola said and went into the museum
Inside the Shola Museum was greeted by an elderly woman who was in charge of the cleaning department.
"Welcome to work here Becky," the woman told Shola who was using a different name and identity for work
"Thank you madam" Shola replied to her
"My name is Mary Olu and I manage the cleaning and sanitary service here, I know you are only here for a few days maybe but I will advise you to take your job seriously here to avoid any problems with me, do you understand?" The woman told Shola
"Yes ma'am" Shola replied again
"Well now follow me let me show you where you are going to clean up from today, remember the work starts at 6 am every morning so you have to be punctual and clean the place before the workers start coming at 7 am do you understand?" Mrs. Olu asked Shola again
"Understand ma'am" Shola replied respectfully
After showing Shola where to clean and dust Mrs Olu went back to her own office and Shola was now alone doing her job she wasted no time performing her tasks after three days Shola was able to ride the bug on the museum system that gave them access to the security cameras and all the different rooms in the building.
"Now we're in the building haha," Timothy said happily.
"With the whole museum in our view what do we do next" Frederick asked Timothy
"We are waiting for the museum guide to open the room where most of the protective items are located which will be in about an hour, once he does we zoom in on the password and we are ready" Timothy assures them
"Timmy, I think it's on the move," Sola told Timothy about an hour later
"Good camera zoom, let me grab a pen" replied Timothy
The man on the camera went to the door of the room and began to enter the password, and then the main room of the museum was open, the room was decorated with different paintings and works of art in the middle of a glass container stood the bronze staff which was the most valuable thing in the museum, the man said something to the woman with him and then left her to do her job.
"So she is in charge of this room, no wonder I never saw the object during my one-week stay in this place," said Shola.
"Are you familiar with the woman on camera?" Frederick asked Sola
"It is that Mrs. Olu turns out she is the only one who enters this room to clean," Shola said.
"Well we don't care now we already know where the item is and now we have the room password so all that's left now is to prepare how to break in and get the staff," Timothy told the two of them
"What's the plan?" Frederick asked Timothy
"We will be taking action tomorrow night, due to security issues we won't be able to get to the museum on the normal road so we are taking the bush path behind the museum" Timothy explained
"Won't it be more dangerous, I mean there's an electric wire fence put up around the museum?" Sola asked Timothy
"Yes there is, but that's the best route to get into the museum at night, we'll just cut the wires when we get there," said Timothy
"Frederick and I will go while you stay here to watch and keep us informed," Timothy told Sola.
"I think we all get the plan if there is no issue then we call it a day, everyone should go and prepare well for tomorrow" Timothy concluded the meeting.
Sola finished what she was doing and left leaving the two friends in the room.
"How about guns we might need them for the business and we need more men or the two of us are fine? I mean I have plenty of boys to bring with us if you want. Frederick said to Timothy.
Timothy said, "If there is an accident, I would need a weapon, but I would choose a pistol with a silencer. When it comes to bringing someone in, I think it's okay for both of us."
"Then I'll have a gun ready so you don't have to worry." Frederick said.
"Frederick, I have something else to say." Timothy said with a serious expression. "The reason I want this mission to be just the two of us is because I don't want anyone to lose their lives. Under no circumstances should there be murder. The guns are meant to scare the guards if things don't go as planned. "
"No problem, I'll remember," Frederick replied. There was silence for a moment before Timothy spoke again.
"Tell me how you achieved all this in just five years." Timothy asked Frederick.
"Do you want to talk about the past now?" Frederick answered him.
Timothy remained silent for a while. Maybe he was not ready to talk about past.
"I was just curious right now, but don't worry. It's better to forget the past."
"Well, I didn't give up even though it was hard and I was rewarded in the end, but I'm tired of the underground business, so once I'm done with this business, I have to leave this country and start a new life somewhere else," said Frederick.
"You're right. I just pray that we succeed." Timothy answered, remembering something else, Timothy asked.
"What is the relationship between you and Shola?"
"We're just business partners, but we go way back so we're pretty close." Frederick answered.
"Have you never asked her out before? Or are you just not interested in her?" Timothy asked again.
"Are you interested in her?" Frederick questions
"I mean, she's so beautiful that any man could be interested in her." Timothy answered honestly.
"There are other people in my life now, so if you want to woo Shola, no problem, but be careful, it's not easy to get her," Frederick said.
"Yeah, good things don't happen easily." Timothy said.
"That's right. So be careful." Frederick said.
"Okay, I'm going home now. I'll see you tomorrow then." Frederick said and left.
