1.- Reborn

Eternal darkness surrounded me shortly after a truck ended my life...

I couldn't care less, that same day the police came and told me that my family had died.  

They were on a plane, which exploded when it crashed into the ground shortly after a malfunction occurred in the engines, that is what they informed me when they gave me the news of the death of my parents and brothers.

In a daze I decided to go for a walk to clear my mind. I sat on a bench outside a park that was near my apartment and suddenly *PUM! * a truck ran me over.

Now I am in this infinite darkness, at some point I felt safe here, once I faced my existential problem.

*Cr-CRAK!!*

"Agh!" The world of darkness that surrounds me is filled with light shining from cracks that began to appear.

*Break!*

An explosion of light occurred and everything around me was clearly shown, I was not in infinite darkness but an egg and just hatched for some reason.

My left eye spasmed after seeing the comment that was in my status, leaving my discomfort aside, I checked to see if my knowledge of stats was the same as the stats shown. To find out I had to concentrate my mind on the information section, which caused another tab to open with explanations.

So, I only have good agility, wisdom, and intelligence... I guess the last two came along with my soul... which is a strange thing.

Turning my attention to my surroundings, I realized that I am in some sort of cave, but with a very flat ground... too flat to be natural, there are also some fluorescent mushrooms, the mushroom grew from the walls or the junction of the walls and the floors, I guess this place is covered by something, enough so that the mushrooms can grow on the walls.

These mushrooms illuminate a lot... AH NOT! It is my ability that makes it seem as if they illuminate a lot... I suppose they may illuminate a quarter meter of radius since they are mushrooms.

Looking down I noticed some small lines on the ground that shinned a blue color, which made the cave have a dark blue color from these lines... "!!!" Looking at them more closely, they looked like veins, and in the veins was some kind of liquid which was giving off the shiny blue color.

Taking my face from the ground, I could see that the cave has only two directions and both look the same... well not quite, one has more mushrooms on the wall than the other.

I decided to walk towards the direction that has fewer mushrooms, since I don't know if they are poisonous and I prefer not to find out the hard way.

It is rare to walk with four legs... but it is the same as walking with two, one does not think it and only does it. It is still complicated when my body knows how, but my mind does not accept the change, I seem to have legs of Spaghetti on how I move all the way, I swing from left to right.

I feel I have two left legs... Ha-ha yes, I do!

After a few minutes of walking through the cave, I got used to walking on all fours and swinging with my hairy tail.

DAMN! I can't remember anything about my family or last name, I just know that I am Alex, a Striped Cat, once human.

Alex advanced through the cave while losing himself in his thoughts, but in the distance, another creature comes from the other side of the cave.

"ikik!!" A high-pitched squeak filled the cave when the creature looked at Alex, the creature's alarming shout returned Alex to reality.

<A rat!> Alex looked surprised at the rat on the other side of the cave, the latter began to hiss at Alex showing hostility towards him.

The rat ran to Alex while showing his large front teeth and small claws on his front legs, <Hell! That thing is giant!> Alex looked surprised at the rat which began to grow bigger as it got closer.

The rat looked to be the same size as Alex. Looking closely Alex noticed that it was not a normal rat. This rat has a small layer of stone as armor on his body and at the tip of his tail a stone blade that looks sharp.

The rat kept running towards Alex and jumped towards when he was close enough. Alex had been stunned in place when he saw how strange the rat is, but a strong tingling surrounded his body and caused him to wake up and move from his place.

<Since when has the role changed!!> Alex looked at the rat that failed the attack and fell to the ground.

Alex's fur began to rise as he hunched over. Alex's anger unleashed his ability [Intimidate] on the rat, but he didn't intimidate him in the least and instead of being scared his eyes showed contempt for Alex.

<Don't despise me dirty four-legged rat! I'm your great DAD, I have eliminated members of family with only one broom! And you will also be eliminated!> Alex threw himself at the rat and hit him in the face, at first the rat looked surprised by Alex's speed, but when he received the blow, he felt no pain.
