Chapter 11

Hayden had been asking where I had been. I sent her a text saying I was at the study hall then went home. I turned my phone off and turned my attention to John, who is watching the long one-way road then he turns on the radio. A country song was playing, "Whatever She's Got- David Nail". John is lip syncing to the music. I chuckle- close my eyes- not realizing how tired I was and drifted off to sleep.
