Chapter Twenty Eight: Tala, the Witch

"I'm sorry, you had to hear that especially mentioning about," I pinched my lips. "sex."

Izek smiled. "It's not a problem. My mother always talked about being intimate with someone when she tries to set off blind dates for me."

"You've dated before?"

"Since I became a knight, I had too much focus on my position. My mother was worried I would never find a nice lady," he calms. "So, she set up blind dates with the daughters of her closest friends."

I know Izek is a handsome and talented guy. I bet any girl wants to be with someone like him. Before we met, he was free to do so.

But just the thought of him with other girls makes my stomach churn. 

"Ria?" I flinched when his hand touched mine, and all the worries washed away. "Just to let you know, none of those girls means anything to me. I had never felt something so strong before I met you. I long to find my mate, and I've finally found her. I'm looking right at her."
