Edward and Kato were on an open street. Edward concentrated on his elemental power, calling upon fire, water, earth, and air to protect him. Kato, on the other hand, hid in the shadows, watching his opponent closely.
Edward launched flames toward Kato, but they were absorbed by the darkness that surrounded him. He knew he could not waste his power, so he planned his next attack. He infused water with air, created a tornado, and launched it toward Kato.
Kato turned into a shadow, avoiding Edward's attack with ease.
He appeared behind him and attacked him with shadow claws. Edward felt the sharp pain in his back but recovered quickly.
He concentrated on the earth, causing the surrounding rocks to grow into sharp thorns. He threw the thorns toward Kato, who tried to avoid them but ended up being pierced in several parts of his body.
Kato saw that the fight was getting dangerous, so he decided to use all his shadow skills. He created a black hole, sucking everything in, including Edward.
Suddenly, Edward found himself in a dark vacuum, struggling to breathe. He focused on the air and created an oxygen bubble around him. He used the elemental mastery he had over the flames to light up the space and find his way out.
Edward moved cautiously, trying to identify any obstacles or dangers in his path.
He concentrated again, this time using his water powers to create a thin layer of mist around him, which helped him to better see the contours of that dark environment.
Finally, Edward spotted a small gap ahead that would lead him out of the vacuum. He advanced towards it, but when he reached it, he was stopped by a large stone obstacle.
Without hesitation, he used his earth powers to manipulate the rock and create a passage out. With a sigh of relief, Edward emerged into the outside world, ready to face whatever came next.
Kato, using his shadow skills, plunged into the darkness of the wall of fire and maintained absolute silence.
Edward stared at the battlefield and searched tirelessly for Kato.
Suddenly, with one swift movement, Kato leaped into the air, throwing several shurikens in Edward's direction. Edward was prepared and erected a stone wall that protected him from the projectiles thrown by Kato, forcing him to quickly change tactics.
Kato began to move quickly, jumping up and disappearing into the shadows. Edward noticed that Kato was trying to get closer to deliver a lethal blow to him. Normally, he would have been afraid, but feeling that adrenaline rushing through his veins, Edward smiled as he mentally spoke, "Elemental dominance."
An ability that had the characteristic to alter the environment around him. Suddenly, kato began to feel an insane flow of mana coursing through the entire city.
That would be Edward's final blow, for he would use up all his mana in the process. Deciding to risk everything, Edward put his hands together and shouted, "Total ruin!"
The city was peaceful when suddenly the ground began to shake and the buildings to sway.
The participants, stunned, realized that it was an earthquake. But in a few moments, the intensity increased.
The streets opened up into huge cracks and buildings collapsed like sand castles. The participants ran desperately through the streets, but chaos took over.
There was nowhere to run. The city was being swallowed by the earthquake.
In a matter of minutes, the cityscape that once occupied the skyline vanished in the tragedy. Now, only ruins and haunted memories of the city before the earthquake remain.

At a monitoring base, the heroes responsible for the security of the participants looked at the huge monitor and saw the city being destroyed by an earthquake.
The tension was palpable as the heroes monitored the catastrophe unfolding before their eyes.
The streets were littered with debris and buildings were collapsing at an alarming rate.
Meanwhile, the rescue team was racing to save as many lives as possible, fighting against the clock so that as few lives as possible would be lost.
While watching the scene with concern, the vice-director of the battle academy pondered the possible causes of the incident: "Who could have been responsible? Did a villain attack us? Or perhaps we were victims of a natural phenomenon? Regardless of the reason, it is up to me to investigate what happened."

Amidst the rubble, Michael, Alice, Serena, and Andrew emerged injured.
They looked at each other, inquiring, "What shall we do now?"
"For now, we'd better get back. Maybe the test has been canceled," Michael suggested, taking the lead of the group.
"What happened here? Did we suddenly get hit by an earthquake?" asked Alice, her confusion mirroring that of the others.
Michael looked at the devastated city without answering her and mentally said, "System, what happens here?"
[Good morning, sir. Based on my analysis, the cause of this tragedy was an individual named Edward Lothbrok. He used his "Elemental Mastery" ability to create a power known as "Total Ruin," which influenced the city's earthly structures, resulting in its destruction].
Upon hearing this information, Michael felt fear run through his veins and his eyes widened as if a demon had appeared before him. He had never imagined that the reason for this catastrophe would be something as horrendous as it was revealed to him.
Looking at the destroyed city, he reflected with a shiver down his spine, "Could this be the true ruthless power of a Lothbrok?"

Sighing, I admitted that I was scared. Getting out of this rubble was not easy and my mana has already depleted.
"Hey, are you dead?" I asked Kato who seemed to be pretending to be dead.
"No..." He replied with obvious sadness, and I figured it might be due to his defeat before me.
Suddenly, Kato asked, "Why didn't you kill me? I tried to kill him."
Why didn't I kill him? Let's see. If I killed this guy, the consequences for the plot, and the world, would be devastating! So I'd better keep him alive.
I sat down next to him and casually answered his question, "I didn't feel like killing you."
Upon hearing my answer, kato started laughing as if I had told a joke and said, "I should have figured that from a Lothbrok, pffffffHahahah."
"Okay, okay, enough talk. The heroes are probably coming to rescue us, so let's get going soon."
"I can't move, so I'll just wait for them to come," Kato replied casually.
"Have you run out of mana?" I asked curiously.
"Yes, but I managed to survive your attack. Anyway, do you have a girlfriend?"
What? Why is this guy asking such a thing?
Even though I was unsure, I answered, "No, but why did you ask that?
"It's because I saw two beauties today and I called them on a date, so I need one more man to accompany me."
"Okay, But you know that these beauties might be dead, right?" Seriously, how did this guy not think of that?
"True, I forgot that fact... Damn, did you need to use an attack like that?"
This guy! If I didn't use it, we'd be fighting right now, or I'd be dead! Sigh... I'll change the subject.
"Were these girls really beautiful, or are you exaggerating?"
"Guy, those girls are so beautiful that it is almost impossible for them to be dead, because they are too beautiful to die." Kato muttered those words hopefully. It was as if his mind allowed itself to imagine a different ending to that story, where the beauty of the women was enough to save them from any imminent danger.
The subject ended right there and I stood gazing up at the blue cloud-filled sky as I reflected, "From now on, everything will change..."
