Collin walked out of the house as soon as the Roll Royce pulled in the driveway, a luxurious car, his dad is used to him by now because after all his grandfather is very fond of him and loved him, gave him a life he couldn't, Collin respect his father and ensure grandfather doesn't come between him and his father.

He get the door for her, she gets down giving him a soft kiss on the lips.

"You look beautiful" he placed his  hand on her waist walking her inside, few people seated in the living room mostly the family of Collin stepmother a lady walked toward them with a huge smile.

"Collin!!! welcome" she leaned into a hug, the rest didn't wait to came forward to give her a warm welcome, let say our girl is lucky, grandfather loved her and now the paternal family likes her.

"Son, she's beautiful" collin father said, after hugging Maggie.

"Nice to meet you sir, I can spot the resemblance" maggie said in compliment collin and her dad laughed.

"Let me get you a drink" collin kissed her leaving, Maggie get the glances from them, she hasn't felt uncomfortable in a way she felt in the midst of these people so she head to the bathroom.

"He said grandfather hook the both of them up,  I'm not surprise she showed up in a Roll Royce written grandfather taste all over it" collin father said.

"Why are you surprise, she has grandfather written all over her, money and luxury to keep the Patrick linage" his supposed stepmother backed it up.

"I just want my son to be happy, he's a man now I think he's choice matters I'm not letting him do to him what he did to me"

"Clara was never meant for you, she keep your son away from you after running away with him, you know we can't do anything if Collin decide to marry a princess he will not listen to you so let it go we enjoy our luncheon and everybody goes home" maggie listen to them say all sort of handout  and privileges about her.

She felt so horrible learning they hated her because she came from money, everything they said sound so true when she heard the door creaking she immediately left to joined the rest of the guest when she couldn't help but noticed collin holding two glass of champagne looking for her.

"Over here" she keep a front face but Collin notices, he hand her the drink first.

"You look all clammed up, I know is not your type of party....

"It is as far as you are here I don't care how small it Is I'm so glad you want me to meet important people in your life, I like this party and is definitely where I want to be" maggie said as they head to the dining area, Collin dad was about to make a toast.

"My girlfriend dad" collin completed the sentences, his dad shrugged looking away as Maggie pulled him into a kiss. Step mom glanced at them and away to the rest who get distracted by the kiss.

"All I want to say is congratulations to my son and his successful tech company, I'm so proud of you son to you and Maggie lil" he made a toast.
