"Hey" they exchanged hugs for few seconds there was an awkward silence Skye cleared her throat before speaking.

"My mom don't hate you hope you know that" Skye said, but Cairo hardly believe that.

"She clearly does and she's hard to impressed" Cairo smiled.

"I will advice you not to bother with that, I was in the parlour when you came" Skye get into the car with her as they drive out of the two storey building.

Skye parent have this motivating story that they shared with  her and her brother kojo how they came to Lagos with nothing.

It was a good story from scratch her mom supported her dad and not a good fan of divorce, she watch trophy housewives of port harcourt and despise Cairo mom to be selfish and self centred.

They didn't come all the way down here and this far only for her to mingle with barbie princess.

"I'm so sorry Skye I just feel terrible and I'm sorry for walking out on you yesterday I shouldn't have done that" Cairo said holding her hand.

"Hmmm...." Skye glanced at her friend she was rather looking pale and sad.

"Did you find something on Chris phone you look happy meeting him yesterday" she said as she glanced at her, Cairo take off her hand holding the the brakes backwards.

"No, not that there is more you can think of Chris certainly not cheating" once again she defended him, Skye can't continue to fight with her best friend her choice of staying with a guy she can't be honest with.

"I'm sure you told him about China then" she asked.

"No I did not, but his sister didn't fail there was an error which means she's going to Yale" Cairo said.

"Well that's not so bad for Maggie, I felt sorry for her but thank goodness she's graduating" Cairo kept on driving.

Skye noticed her friend is not happy she insisted to know what happened between them but she said nothing happen, Cairo didn't want to tell Skye about her insecurities.

"So you're going to China then without Chris knowing or what" Cairo said sharply.

"Skye you haven't mention anything about college....where are you going" so glad she asked, Skye shrugged.

"I'm skipping one  year for travels" Skye said.

"Your mom is going to kill you" Cairo interjected dodging the traffic driving into her estate she stopped at after five blocks to pick up her cloths from the laundry so Skye waited in the car. She put the garment cloth at the back of the booth then get inside her car.

"Mom approve, I can't deal with school right now my brother is going through hell  only because he chooses to go to school" Skye said.

"School is hard why are you talking like you don't have any idea" Cairo retorted.

"Not high school, he look so lean and reading all the time civil engineering studies I'm sure my parent will prefer me a professional course if I decide to go to school" Cairo was surprise because the way she had rated Skye parent to be strict with hardcore disciplinary, unlike her who decides and her parent in support motions.

She's so proud how Skye is able to say yes or no to her parent despite how controlling they are even if they think she's a bad influence.
