Chris and Cairo warmed up in the white thick duvet the large television screen airing designated survivor on Netflix, snacks at the left side of the bed. While they cuddle up and talked about so many things. They talked about Yale only for Chris to excitedly bring up Maggie.

"I'm so happy she's coming to Yale with us" Chris said pinching her cheeks kissing her on the lips all at once.

"Woah that's good news" the words came out smoothly but it hurts her through her throat, Cairo stood up from the bed grabbing a towel heading to the bathroom.

"Are you okay Babe" he asked,  Cairo pretend to be okay only to burst into the bathroom feeling extremely bad, she's not a terrible person the fact she has to watch her boyfriend crush from a distance creeps her out. She picked up her phone and dialled madam July office she accepts the scholarship.

Cairo breath out heavily trusting she made a good decision is her career instead of watching from afar with hope her relationship works is better she's off to china pursuing her career as a volleyball player there is a lot she can do with her live than be insecure.

She walked out of the bathroom Chris was already having the snacks she came with, they both smile at each other as she softly give him a kiss.

"What kept you so long the movie is starting-

"I didn't come late didn't I" she jumped in bed with him as they both saw the Netflix movie. Chris is excited having his two favourite people by his side in Yale.

Cairo didn't stop by her house driving home she  went straight to Skye she didn't call before coming it was Skye parent at home when she ring the door bell, Cairo knows Skye parent only tolerated her because they  best friends with her daughter but not a big fan of her mom especially the news of the divorce that broke.

Skye said they were back to Ghana surprisingly they were around, so Cairo had to act along because she was least expecting them and if she had knew there is no way she'd drive down.

"Hello, I'm sorry Skye isn't home" Cairo know is a lie she doesn't like her mom doesn't mean she has to hate her, she doesn't like her mom either but is her life and selling her life on national television is what she does both Skye parent were immigrants from Tema both are medical doctors in their respective field.

"Is about school nothing much" Cairo insisted after she left the fitting room abruptly yesterday and today they were suppose to go shop for hair extensions, she's not responding to neither of her texts or calls so she came down to apologise for leaving the fitting yesterday.

"You don't have church to attend Skye is not here young lady, I have things to do inside bye bye" she slammed the door shut at her face, Cairo stepped back only to hear whistle from the garage Skye was there standing. Cairo facial expressions brightens up as a sign of relief.
