Chapter 7 Genesis

Two days pass by, a substitute teacher enters Sagiri's class discussing about the Babylon city and the Genesis explorers. He was Professor Kagi Takayama, a middle-aged explorer with a face bereft of emotion, but what made Sagiri curious was on his story on the Babylon and the Genesis, and his connection to them.

Later after class, Sagiri runs into Kagi, showing her interest on the history of Babylon and the Genesis explorers. She asks him questions about the truth concerning the story, but Kagi denies it is a fact, saying that it is merely a legend and is not true.

She confidently states that she had recognized the city and met a guardian who disclosed to her everything. This startles Kagi, so he asks her if she can usher him in, to which she agrees.

Sagiri: Sensei... wait...

Kagi: What is the rush, Sagiri?

Sagiri: Ab-ab-about the source and the Babylon! I want to know more of the story.

Kagi: Haha! Sagiri, we all know that the story is not true like the elderly one's said.

Sagiri: No! I saw the city and saw a guardian who told me the stories. Genesis destroyed everything for their greed of everlasting life.

Kagi: Huh?! Seriously Sagiri, if what you claimed is true, accompany me where you stumble upon it. Okay? I want to investigate it myself.

Sagiri: Yes sensei. Let's meet at the Mount Napua-tori at 5 in the evening.

Sagiri returns back to her classroom and packs her things to go home with her friends together. Meanwhile, Kagi still wonders if Sagiri is serious about her story. As an explorer, he takes no disregard on this matter for it is a historical find.

Kagi: Uh, Nishimiya, I will have to get home early. There is this student Sagiri who wants to meet me at home to ask on a few details about our topic earlier.

Nishimiya: Sure, I'm glad you're handling the students well in such a small amount of time. Sagiri in Class-A is the daughter of the mayor: talented, athletic and keen.
