PATRIC POV:

Sophia and Marcus had told me about this kid. They said that he is super powerful and defeated goblins in only 3 seconds. They don't know, if the monster was hunt by him but I don't believe so, it's a red ranked monster after all. It would give difficulty even to us. It was probably his mentor or another family member.

Then we saw Klaus and Luke, they were known as newbie destroyers and liked to bully weak people by stealing their money when Clare or others weren't looking. I stood up and wanted to stop them, this kid was going to go big and couldn't get his mood down by some bullies.

Then something happened that I didn't expect. He asked rules or laws of self-defense in this country. Luke answered while reaching for his pouch. Then the kid smiled?

-Well, isn't that perfect.

The kid slashed his sword upwards and then put it back in his sheath.

-What was that you threatening us kid?

He smiled even more and then Luke's arm fell off...

No sound, even blood didn't come instantly. It just fell on the ground like a leaf.

-AHHHHHHH

Luke screamed and blood started to pour out, Klaus panicked a little and then used fire magic to close off the wound.

-You little!!, IMMA KILL YOU, YOU SON OF A BITC!!!

But before he could finish his sentence, right when he was about to curse his mother, the kid's eyes changed. Before they were full of patience and pride, but when Luke called his mom, they were now full of one thing... Killing intent.

Killing intent was something that naturally gets stronger when you have either killed a lot or want to kill something.

The pressure he gave was too heavy for anyone less than D rank and they had to kneel. But it wasn't the power of killing intent, that part wasn't as strong. The real pressure was the amount of power, the pure strength of his magic was this powerful.

He luckily stopped after a shile and just walked away. Klaus and Luke had nearly peed their pants and now were running to a hospital to fix Luke's arm with powerful but expensive healing magic.

He looked like the same age as my daughter, I hope she doesn't hang out with people like him, they are dangerous.

AYDEN POV:

I got really angry there. They almost dared to shame my dear mother, the only one who has loved me like that in all my lives. I luckily calmed down and was now going back to the inn. It was not a tiring day, but the bed was so comfortable that I just want to lay down on it.

I stopped by at a bakery and got some good-looking bread, it had lettuce, ham, cheese, and tomatoes. I walked inside the inn lobby and there were now a lot more people.

I was walking towards the staircase when I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw the same girl that was behind the counter yesterday.

-Hello, what are you doing?

-Going to my room

-What's your name?

-Ayden

-Mine is Elsa, I'm 12

-I'm 13, did you have something to say

Elsa looked a little bit hurt by my impatience.

-Do you want to play?

-What would we play

-Hide and seek

-Only me and you

-Yeah

It was a stupid idea, but she looked lonely and would cry if I didn't play with her now.

-Okay

-Yei, you will start, count to 30

-Okay, 1, 2...5....7...13

I had my head towards the wall and counted, after half a minute I started to search for her. I made my senses a little bit less effective to not end this instantly. I first went to look behind the counter, empty. From there I went to the dining room, no one. I glanced if anyone was in the kitchen but that also was empty. I went upstairs and first floor was empty, so was second and third. I came back down but this time with my senses not restricted.

I tried to hear her laughing or something like that, and just that I heard. A little smirk escaped on my lips, and I went towards the buffet table. I raised the tablecloth and there she was. Hands over her mouth.

-Found you.

She started to say how I had cheated and other stuff like that. Then we both laughed a little. Right then a man opened the door.

-ELSA, daddy is here.

-Dad

Elsa ran towards the man and gave him a big hug.

-What were you doing my little girl.

-Playing with Ayden.

-I haven't heard that name before, where is he

-There

Elsa pointed towards me, then the man came fully inside and to my surprise it was the second muscular guy in Sophia's and Marks party. I gave him a nod.

-Elsa I'm going to sleep.

-But it was my time to be the seeker.

-Let's do that another time.

-Okay

I walked to third floor, put my backpack in the corner with my clothes, took my pants and jacket off and fell on my bed.

-What a tiring day.

I took my both money pouches and checked my money situation. I now have forty-one gold and 5 silver coins. I would get my sword day after tomorrow and then was the tournament.

I had grabbed a poster about the tournament and decided to check it out before going to sleep.

The once in a year 1 vs 1 tournament is here. Everyone ranked from F-D can participate and win amazing prices. There is only one age restriction and it's less than 20 but remember to bring your own weapons. Tournament starts at afternoon to make sure everyone are out of work. Good luck warriors!

There were no complicated rules or something like that, it just made sure that it was as fair as possible. This tournament had only two purposes: entertainment and scouting. They wanted to earn common people and nobility and give young people a chance to be scouted by a big guild.

I however were there only for the price, right now I didn't want to join a guild. I knew nothing about any guilds and if I just picked one because they wanted me, I could lose much.

Now it's time to sleep and start a new day tomorrow.
