Side Quest & Zombie Orcs

Just as his fingers scratched the Orc, his hand abruptly halted again. "Grrr!"

'Seth... uses weapon!' He raised his hand and scratched his skull.

[...So this is what a father feels as he sees his son growing up and using his head?]

"Gr!" Felix exclaimed in surprise.

[Yes! Seth uses a weapon. But Seth can't infect somebody in the first place.]

'Seth... can't infect?' Felix's head tilted.

[Indeed! So what do you do?]

Felix fell into long and hard contemplation. After spending minutes pondering, his eyes lit up, 'Seth won't use weapons!'

[...You still have much to learn... my so- Ahem! My host! Do as you see fit!]

"Grr!" Felix purred in delight, his eyes squeezing together from joy.

'Hehe! Let's go, Seth! Don't use weapons!' Felix smiled innocently toward Seth and again charged over, his Stealth had been deactivated.

The genius had burned his fuel... well, his loyal couldn't be praised either.

The two zombies awkwardly swaggered over, attracting the attention of the Orcs.

The poor genius, still believing everything would be the same as in the past, believed the Orcs to still idiotically ignore him. Heck! Felix didn't even activate Stealth on his own. The System always did it for him!

As if realizing the same thing, the System muttered under the enlightenment of Felix's action.

[Seems I have been loosening the reels too much. I need to force him to mature by making him use his own skull for once.]

Felix groaned and scratched forward.

The Orc scratched his skull and mocked, "Gui! Gui! Zombie? Kek! Guiguigui!" The Orc laughed aloud like a pig and calmly watched as Felix drew near.

As Felix swung his fingers, he suddenly felt a frightening premonition grip his core, causing his spine to tingle, his eyes to widen, and making him jump back.

[Talent 'Alertion' has been activated. Threatening danger sensed!]

"Grr!" Felix's eyes glared at the Orc as its fist smashed into the ground like a solid brick, leaving a deep dent.

"Gui!?" The Orc raised its head in surprise.

"Grrr!" Felix groaned, his eyes brightening up, 'Orc! Orc power! Orc... Orc is... fun!'

Felix's eyes lit up as he huffed out a hot breath seeing the Orc retracting his fist and eyeing him in surprise.

"Gui!?" The Orc's head tilted. He looked back and asked in confusion, "Did any of you see what he did?"

The other Orcs shifted to one another. Before one started scratching his butt really hard and forced out of his mouth, "Dodged?"

"Guii!" The Orcs instantly stepped back in fright. Their eyes quivered as they sized up Felix, "Zo-Zombies can dodge?"

Another one nodded repeatedly, "Can they? Can they?"

But they all knew the answer too well, "No! Zo–Zombies don't dodge!"

Felix frowned hearing their discussion and roared "GRRR!" He blasted forward and slashed the Orc's waist.

His fingers slid past the Orc's chest and scratched down to its stomach, leaving deep blisters on his body.

"Guii!" The Orc jumped back in fright. His eyes trembled as he screeched and pushed forward his brothers, "I-I got injured! Yo-You fight!"

The other Orcs groaned and cautiously treaded onward toward Felix- the guy who had been gazing at his hand the whole time.

[Congratulations! You have successfully infected an Orc!]

[Infection slowly takes effect depending upon the number of wounds you inflict with your body. The more wounds you infect, the faster the other party would transform.]

Felix groaned and looked forward with wide eyes, 'So... simple! Hehehe! I like it!!'

Seth, who had been waiting for a chance the whole time sneaked behind the injured Orc and slashed like Felix.

"GUII!" The Orc, even less injured than when attacked by Felix screeched as if his life had nearly been taken and battered back blindly.

The Orc couldn't tell what, but he could feel something creepy grip his heart as time passed.

"GUIII!" The Orc slammed his chest like a barbarian. His bead-sized eyes lit up as he growled at Seth, "Leave him... to me." Oinking wildly, the Orc rushed at Seth.

Seth's eyes widened, feeling as if the Orc could see him. He frowned and slowly stepped back, knowing the Orc would idiotically ignore him for some reason.

But the Orc's eyes flickered from danger as he charged over at full speed and slammed into Seth, blasting him at a tree far behind, "GUUIII!"

The Orc gritted his teeth and charged over again.

Felix didn't care about what occurred to Seth, he had more important things to worry for.

As the four Orcs strode onward, his eyes flared up. Something natural kicked inside him, his feet skidded past the ground as he bolted forward and head-butted one of the Orcs in his gut.

[Mad Rush activated!]

"Gahhh!" The Orc flew back, his eyes shot wide from pain. The various contents of his gut desiring a taste of fresh air.

Felix grinned and slashed at the nearest Orc. His eyes squeezed together in glee.

"Guuiii!" The Orc groaned and jumped back. Sizing up his scraped body, its chubby head instantly sweated hard.

"Gui! Gui! N-No fighting for me! To-Too injured!" The Orc timidly sniffed and cowered behind the others.

The Orc Felix had head-butted and nearly fainted from glancing at a few drops of blood on its paw as he wiped his face.

"GRRR!" Felix purred manically. His eyes flared up as he head-butted an Orc.

[Mad Rush activated!]

"Guui!!" The Orc flung back with Felix's doubled strength. Even its tough skin throbbed from pain.

Felix's eyes shifted toward the other Orc whose feet had already started going cold.

"Grr!" As Felix stepped forward, the Orc snorted like a pig and tossed back toward Seth.

Planning on joining the stare-off between Seth and the Orc engaging him.

'Guigui! Brother seems to have caught an easy target who's getting intimidated by his bloodthirsty and cool eyes. Kek! I will join too.' The Orc chuckled at finding easy prey and stood next to his brother and glared at Seth who slowly got up from the ground. Having a lot of broken bones and limbs due to the Orc's heavy assault.

"Grrr!" Felix groaned seeing the notification in front of him.

[You have successfully transformed an Orc into a Zombie Orc! Would you like to check its status? Yes/No!?]

Felix's head tilted to the side, "Grrr--"

The other Orc infected by Felix felt its mind spin from the dizziness assaulting him and felt its survival instincts kick in. He glared at Felix and slapped him right in the face. Hurling him back a few steps.

"Gui! Guigui!" The Orc snorted, and his bead size yellow eyes started turning red. He huffed out a hot breath and slowly stepped over toward Felix as he got up.

The Orc that cluelessly stood beside the Zombie Orc suddenly felt something go off.

The instant the Orc turned his head to glance at his brother. The other Orc swooshed around and blasted his fist into his gut.

"Gaaa!" The Orc rolled to the side, his eyes goggling at his brother in dread and confusion.

The Orc marching toward Felix slowed down step by step until his feet stopped right in front of Felix- the one staring at him with amazement and curiosity. Completely forgetting to stand up.

[Congratulations! Your infected Orc has turned into a Zombie Orc.]

Another Orc growled in confusion and slowly walked ahead, his heart palpitating in fear.

"Gu-Gui!?" The Orc tilted his head, its bead-size eyes affixed at the Orc in front of him.

Meekly, he extended his hand, but the Orc shifted around and bashed him across the face.

"Guuu!" The Orc flung back, its timid heart wavering further in apprehension.

Seeing the Orc staring at the other Orc in disbelief, Felix felt something rise inside him.

'This is... fun!' The numb adrenaline inside him started to pump crazily. He jumped forward- imitating the Orc's way of charging and bashed into the Orc.

Sending him rolling back. Felix didn't stop and slashed him back and forth as he screeched from the pain.

Its mind slowly numbed down as the pain faded. As if signaling to Felix that he had beautified the Orc enough, a System alert appeared in front of him.

[Congratulations! Your infected Orc has turned into a Zombie Orc!]

"Grrr!" Felix purred in delight. His eyes shifted to the two Orcs wearily scrutinizing everybody.

"Guiii! Th-The heck is happening?" The Orc gazed all around in confusion.

"Grrr!" Felix purred, a malicious glint flashing in his eyes as he slowly walked over toward the two Orcs.

Sensing his desire to... solo the two. The other Zombies backed off.

"Grrr!" Ferrin groaned, his eyes flickering from a maddened desire for a fight.

Felix whiffed the air heavily, but the taste... didn't suit his tongue, he clicked his tongue and scoffed, 'Something's missing.'

His eyes glinted as if in a trance. A club appeared in his hand.

Hearing him step closer and closer, the two Orcs finally felt their wavering hearts tremble. "Br-Brother! I think... this zombie is strange."

The other Orc nodded, his bead-sized eyes glistening as he stared at his three brothers now eyeing him with their blackened eyes.

His teeth gritted together as he stared at Felix, his heart nearly jumped to his throat from Felix's corrupted smirk.

"Brother!" He patted the Orc beside him and ducked down onto all four.

"We must... KILL THIS DOG AT ALL COSTS!" With a whoosh, the Orc charged forward and pounded Felix back.

Felix felt his bones pop. Though his smile only served to widen.

"Grr!" He groaned and punched into the Orc's gut. The Orc screeched and punched down at Felix.

Suddenly, Felix felt his chest area tremble from a dangerous inkling. A cold feeling spread out from somewhere deep within his chest. Warning him of the danger bolting toward his life... toward his core!

[Talent Alertion activated! Mortal danger detected!]
