Chapter 11

The man looked around the place he materialized with an evil smile pastered on his face, he held his spear up, it was glowing blue at the top of the spear the same as the tesseract.

"Sir, put down the spear". Said Fury as he looked at the stranger.

The stranger looked at fury's way and without hesitation shot a beam of light at him. Hawkeye was already in battle mode the minute he saw the stranger so when he fired, he pushed himself and fury out of the way.

The place where they dtood exploded, sending them flying further away.

The guards immediately shot back but with quick successions he defeated them all.

Barton reached for his hidden gun but he grabbed his hand and looked him straight in the eyes. "You have heart". He said and placed the tip of his spear on barton's chest.

A blue energy left the spear and entered barton turning his eyes black for a second and then turning them back with a blue glow, He continued on subduing the others.

Fury took the opportunity and took out the tesseract, he stored it in a box and tried to walk away. "Please don't". Said the man.

Fury turned around and said."Let's not make this any messier than it is".

"Give me the box and i won't". He replied.

"Who are you?". Asked Fury.

"I am Loki, son of asgard". Said Loki, Dr.selvig heard him and said."Loki? brother of thor?".

Loki walked up to him and subdued him too.

Fury continued to stall by arguing with him. "He is stalling for time, this place is about to blow up".

Barton noticed it and told Loki.

"He is right, the energy level i am reading suggest that an explosion is about to occur.

"Well then you know what to do". Barton shot him without hesitation and too the box from him. They walked away leaving fury to die.

They got into a car without causing any suspicion by acting like they were ordered by Fury.

As they were leaving, agent hill got a call from fury saying. "Barton has turned". She immediately went for cover as barton fired at her.

A car chase soon ensued but with loki defending the car they couldn't keep up. Fury came down with a helicopter but Loki shot it down, luckily fury survived.

"Coulson are you there". He checked the comms to see who survived.

"Yes sir but a lot of men are under". Replied Coulson.

"And hill, where is she?".

"I survived". She checked in.

"Coulson, Everyone who is not helping here send them to base, they have got the tesseract, this is a level seven breach".

Coulson felt dread, level seven meant extinction if they could not deal with it.

"What do we do now sir". He asked.

For davy and Cho it was a slow day, they had nothing much to do. They were both in there office when an elf transported inside the office suprising them. "The chief has called for you". She said.

They looked at each other wondering why they were being called, they dtood up and walked to the chiefs office. "You think we are getting fired or suspended for something we did". Asked davy.

Cho felt a headache coming up. "Why?, did you do something that would get us fired or suspended".

"Nope, i did nothing lately".

"Well then why ask something you know won't happen". They quibbled on untill they arrived at the chiefs office.

Davy was about to knock when he heard"Come in". They went inside they office and a woman was sitting behind a big desk, the desk was organized, everything was labeled and placed somewhere they could fit.

"Chief Heider, how are you". He said acting amicably. "Spare me the formalities and sit, and no you are not in trouble". She assured him.

"A s you know, we are in a most sensitive time what with the new government being formed and strengthened, obstacles everywhere like old heads of the old government rallying or evil wizards trying to become the new dark lords, it's a chaotic time".

"Yeah that does sum up our situation but we knew that already". Said davy. "Yes i know, there's a new order, the political heads have voted and a diplomatic relationship with a muggle arganization called S.H.I.E.L.D has been approved".

"Tha- That is a huge and dangerous step". Said Cho suprised.

"I never thought that they'd ever consider it let alone approve it , such a suprise". Davy felt that the magical race had with one step removed themselves from the middle ages, the era that seemed to have been stuck in even after the war.
