Ryu's POV

"Whoa..." gasped Aragorn

We entered a steakhouse and took a seat at a table that had huge long chairs. I took a seat and Aneko took a seat next to me and Aragorn sat on the other side.

I looked at the menu and began to read it but both Aneko and Aragorn pretended to know how to read the menu.

"Do you guys know what to get?" I asked

"No." replied Aragorn, "I can't read."

"Neither can I." said Aneko

"Okay I'm just going to get the house steak, do you want the same thing?" I asked

"Yea sure, but I'm a medium rare guy." said Aragorn

"I'm fine with medium rare." said Aneko

"Okay I'll get medium rare too." I implied

I ordered the food and we waited in silence.

"So, how are you feeling?" asked Aneko

"Same, nothing different." I replied

"You seem to be doing well for someone who got dumped." said Aneko

"I'm not that surprised." I lied

"Yea right." said Aneko

"Why do you care about that?" I asked genuinely curious

"Just, I can't care? Fine I won't care." said Aneko

"Oi I didn't mean it like that." I said

Aneko rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"You two seem to get along." said Aragorn

"What are you implying?" asked Aneko

"Oi oi no need to be so aggressive." I said

"Yea this is a friendship bonding time." implied Aragorn

Aneko raised an eyebrow and then I thought about something.

"Wait, don't tell me. You don't have any friends." I pointed out

Aragorn's eyes widened and Aneko slowly turned her head to face me, creeping me out.

"What did you just say?" she asked in such a menacing tone

"Nothing, I didn't say anything forget I said anything." I babbled

"Oi oi you said what you said, now elaborate." she said

She suddenly slung her arm around my neck and brought me, my heart started beating fast and blood shot up into my head making it red. Aragorn just cleared his throat and got up and left to use the bathroom leaving the two of us alone.

"W-wait I-I didn't mean it in a you know b-bad way." I stuttered

"Oh but what did you mean?" asked Aneko

"I was just curious." I whispered

She then suddenly turned me around and put me in a headlock, her grip was strong and I struggled to breathe.

"I don't need friends and I don't want any, if you think I'm considering you as a friend then you're getting the wrong idea." she growled

"Okay okay let me go." I pleaded as I was slowly losing air.

"Understand this, after we do this we'll never see each other again." she said

"Okay, okay I understand." I cried out barely coming out as a whisper

She lets go of me and I start gagging and coughing as I try to breathe.

"What the fuck, Kishimoto is the complete opposite of you." I said

"Do you want me to headlock you again?" hissed Aneko

"No, no." I replied

She glared at me as I leaned against the wall.

"Uhh excuse me, the food's here." said the waitress

Aneko moved away allowing me to relax a bit and the waitress began to set up the food on the table and Aragorn came back.

"This looks good." said Aragorn

I looked at Aragorn and thought about what he could have done while being in the bathroom. He could have contacted Oracle or something who knows. But I looked at his hands and they were slightly wet, he wiped his hand on the napkin but I was still icky about Aragorn.

"Oi Aragorn when are you getting married?" I asked

"We planned it for next week but this happened, I don't even know if my fiancé is alive. But my dad, the last time I saw him was during the battle." he replied

I nodded and began eating.

"Aneko, what's your age gap between you and Kishimoto?" asked Aragorn

"3 years." she replied

'Sheesh she's older than me by 3. She's older than Demon the bitch.'

"What's your age gap? For you and your fiancé?" asked Aneko

"She's a year younger than me." he replied

"Wait you said that you're a year younger than me right?" I asked

"Yes." replied Aragorn

"Oh, I see." I said

We continued but Aneko looked at me.

"How come you're not married to Demon, you two have been dating for a bit more than 200 years." said Aneko

I sighed and looked at her.

"Well uhh, hell doesn't work like that." I said

Aneko and Aragorn stopped eating and looked at me.

"A single day in hell is 1 year in the regular world, well that's how Demon made it. She can change how the time works in hell." I explained

"Wow." Aneko scoffed in disbelief, "The more I learn about you the more I know that you're a loser."

"I get that a lot." I replied

I thought back during the time I was always bullied by people.

"Not surprising." said Aneko

"Aneko that's rude." said Aragorn

"You got a problem?" snapped Aneko

"Oi oi stop it both of you." I snapped

Aneko and Aragorn both looked at me then looked away and we began eating in silence.

"Who else knows about the time thing?" asked Aneko

"No one." I replied

"So you've only dated her for a bit more 200 days." said Aneko

"Yea." I replied

"That's, not that long." said Aneko

I sighed and looked at Aragorn

"How can someone immortal be with someone for the rest of their life?" I asked

"I don't know, I guess they just do." replied Aragorn, "But let me tell you something."

Aragorn stopped eating and leaned in.

"Not everyone lives forever, eventually people hate life so they go to this place where they request to die so they do something to you." said Aragorn

"They kill you?" I asked

Aragorn shook his head.

"No, if you request to wake up after a certain amount of time they make you sleep. They specifically make you sleep and let's say you wake up but you still don't like life they're most likely going to kill you." said Aragorn, "Plus just because you're immortal doesn't mean you can't die from diseases."

"Well, that's not that bad." I said, "Life can get boring for some people."

"We've all been living for 200 years life's pretty fun." said Aragorn

Aneko just shrugged.

"It's, okay." she said

"Sir, can you talk about your past?" asked Aragorn

"My past? There's really nothing much to it." I said, "Let's just say I was a nerd, well I kind of still am."

I saw Aneko smirk.

"I got bullied a lot but I didn't really care because I wanted to prove them wrong. So college, I got into one of the best universities in the nation and literally on the first day, I was in the library studying and waiting for my next class when Demon and some other Ryu came crashing into the library. I was in the middle of it and when I saw the other Ryu I freaked out and I was scared. He told me to run and all that but Demon killed him and that's when I saw her face for the first time. She smiled and you know her usual bitchy style she said found you." I explained

Aragorn and Aneko both looked like they were really into my story.

"I ran away but she appeared in front of me and I bumped into her and all that. She said she wouldn't kill me and that's when Lydia and Kishimoto came and saved me. They explained to me that I was the last Ryu to live but you know how when one version of you dies the powers get transferred? Yea I didn't receive any so they injected augmentation but I wasn't able to get it for a long time." I said, "But like during one mission I bumped into Demon and like she showed me everything that happened in the past and I felt that she was in the right so I joined her. But in her hell castle there was this like one room she told me not to go into. So I didn't and we began training and going to missions."

I took a bite out of my steak.

"Then there was that one date we went on, she kissed me and it was fun." I sighed

"Oi stop talking if you're feeling down." said Aneko as she elbowed me

"Oh, okay." I sighed

10 hours later

Lydia's POV

I sat on the floor and sighed. It's been a few days I don't know, I lost track of time since I'm detained in this damn cell.

"Oi."

I looked up to see Demon standing in front of my cell. I sighed and got up and approached her and I tried to punch her but the invisible force field prevented me.

"How about you release me and I'll just punch you once." I growled

Demon didn't react at all.

"Do you feel happy?" I asked, "Huh Ryu trusted-"

"He trusted me huh?" questioned Demon

I raised an eyebrow.

"If he trusted me maybe he should have told me a few things." she said, "Just a few things."

She leans against the force field and sighs.

"Did you ever wonder about Ryu's dad?" asked Demon

I thought about it. I don't think I ever thought about it before.

"No, what does he have to do with any of this?" I asked

She takes out a cigarette and starts smoking.

"I never thought about it either but I talked to his mother recently and it turns out he has never seen his father." said Demon, "How was I supposed to know if he never mentioned his dad in general?"

"What the hell are you saying?" I asked

She turns around and looks at me.

"His dad raped his mom." she said

My eyes widened in shock.

"He never told me and yet he expects me to tell him my shit." said Demon

I didn't think it would turn out that way but it didn't matter to him.

"So what if he didn't tell you? Are you that person who wants an eye for an eye?" I asked

"I'm surprised you didn't know that I'm like that." she replied

"Okay so what? Did you not trust him? Is that why you didn't tell him about Aiden and your past?" I asked

Demon looked at me then eyed the ground.

"There, see you did but you just didn't want to." I said

Demon inhaled the gas and sighed.

"Demon or Ada however you want to be called, you can still make this right." I said, "Please think about Ryu."

"I did, yet I don't feel any remorse." she replied

I groaned and rubbed my eyes.

"So what? What are you going to do?" I asked

"Wait it out." she replied

Ryu's POV

"How was your day outside Ryu?" asked Ayano

"It's been an eventful day." I replied

We were sitting in front of the fireplace that I made. The passports were all printed out and we were able to get 7 tickets for tomorrow's flight at 7 am.

I took out a cigarette from the box and lit it using the fire and began smoking. I should really stop since I might not be immortal anymore.

"Sir I have a quick question." said Aragorn, "How come you only live with your mother? What about your father?"

"He's in jail." I replied

"For what?" he asked

I pulled the cigarette out of my mouth and just sighed.

"Let's just say I was a mistake." I replied

"Mistake?" questioned Aragorn

Aragorn seemed to be confused but Aneko got it.

"So your mom was..." whispered Aneko

"Yea, she was raped." I sighed

Aragorn covered his mouth and his eyes widened.

"Sir I'm so sorry I didn't know I-"

"Oi oi don't worry, don't be sorry for me but for my mom." I implied

"You seem to have told people about this." said Aneko, "Aren't you ashamed?"

"Why should I be ashamed? And I never told anyone before. You two are my first." I replied

"Why are you telling us?" asked Aneko

"Cause I trust you two." I replied

Aneko immediately looked away for some reason.

"Y-yea nice." stuttered Aneko

"So the reason you don't tell people this is not because you feel ashamed but because you don't want to throw shade on your mother right?" asked Aragorn

"Yea it is." I replied

Aneko and Aragorn sat there in silence.

"Want to hear something, weird?" I asked

Aragorn and Aneko looked at me in curiosity.

"I was raped by Demon twice." I said

Aragorn's mouth dropped open and Aneko's eyes nearly popped out of her eye socket.

"W-what?" stuttered Aragorn

"It was when I opened the door to the room she told me not to and the second time was after I received my augmentation powers after quitting the MVA." I replied

"Your life must have been, tough." said Aneko

Aneko raised up her arm but hesitated for a second then she patted my head and I immediately started to blush.

"You don't have to go through that again." she said

"Oh, right, thanks." I replied

I tried to cover my cheeks but Aneko smiled for the first time and she looked so pretty that I just felt blood in my head heat up and my mind was spinning.

'Oh God help me.'

"Hey Ryu san, why are there so many cars outside?" asked Masato

I got up and looked outside and my eyes widened when I saw about 15 men wearing all black with face coverings approach the house.

"Oh shit, Masato, get to the basement with the others and stay there." I said, "Aragorn, Aneko they're here."

Aneko sighed and poured water on the fire and we began to grab our weapons and turn off the lights.

"Remember, don't use your powers." I said

Aragorn and Aneko nodded and left to get to their positions. Masato and the others began to go down the basement.

"Lock the door, don't come out until I call you." I said then closed the door.
