Family

Ryu's POV

I hid behind the kitchen island and waited for the killers to get inside the house. I heard metal breaking and the door slowly opened and the killers entered the house so I nodded towards Aneko and Aragorn. Aragorn aimed his bow and shot a killer and the arrow went straight through his head and hit another killer.

Aneko throws one of her hatchets and it splits open one of the killer's heads. I jumped over the island and drew my sword and beheaded two of the killers and their bodies dropped dead.

The three of us quietly moved through the house looking for the remaining ten killers who probably entered the house through another entrance. I quickly checked one of the bodies and the blood was the same as the knights of Oracle.

'Oracle found us.'

I crept up the stairs until and saw that there was a door open with the window open.

'Shit.'

I slowly crept through the hallway but then I heard the floor creak from the other side of the wall to my right. I looked at the wall and slowly leaned against it to listen but suddenly a sword stabbed through the wall an inch away from my eye, the blade tried to cut my neck but I did a backflip dodging it. I landed on the floor and stabbed the wall hoping to get someone but the person crashed through the wall. My eyes widened when a tall, muscular man probably around 6'5 loom over me.

"Holy fuck." I whispered

He turned to look at me and he barely fit in the hallway.

"So you're Ryu Kim." said the giant man

"Who are you?" I asked

"We haven't met." said the giant man, "But I'm the Angel of Family."

"Oh the idiotic name." I said

"Name does not matter." said Family

He then swung his sword, completely tearing up the walls in the process, I blocked his sword but his sword was huge and the impact made me crash through the wall. I got up but Family charged me and swung his arm hitting me in the chest. I crashed through the window and landed outside in the backyard.

'Ow.'

I did a kick up and Family jumped out of the house and landed in front of me.

"Let's see what you're made of." I said

He stormed towards me, his footsteps shook the earth making me lose balance. He swung his sword down so I rolled to the side dodging his sword, he then swung his sword just as I stood up so I jumped and rolled on his blade just in time. I landed on the ground and ran towards him but he swung his arm and he hit my chest sending me flying into the air.

'Holy shit, he's stronger than Death.'

I flew up so high in the air I reached up to the clouds.

'Looks like there's a storm about to start.'

I used the advantage so I threw my sword down towards Family, my vision zoomed in and I saw that my sword was on the house behind Family.

I used my lightning bolt and teleported right next to my sword, I grabbed it and jumped straight towards Family and I spun in the air and slit his throat.

I fell onto the ground and kicked myself up. Family fell on one of his knees while clutching his neck, preventing blood from spurting out. I took that advantage and began running around him slicing every body part making him weaker.

But then he grabbed me, his hand was about the size of me and he threw me on the ground. I gasped in pain as my back hit the ground. He raised up his sword and brought it down but I caught the blade with my hands. I broke the blade and I tried to get up but he punched me so hard I spit up blood. He grabs my entire body and he starts to squeeze me. I tried not to scream in pain but his grip kept increasing.

But just as I was about to electrocute him Aneko jumped up from behind and slammed her two hatchets into his head. His grip loosened but not entirely so I pulled out one arm and summoned my sword into my hand and I used my augmentation and sliced his arm into tiny pieces then I decapitated him. I landed behind him and cleaned my sword then sheathed it just as Family's body collapsed on the ground.

"Thanks." I said

"You okay?" asked Aneko

But before I even responded someone crashed through a window and landed next to me. Aragorn came out through the window and stabbed him through the heart.

"He's the last one." said Aragorn, "Are you okay sir?"

"Yea I'm fine." I replied as I spit out my blood.

We began gathering the bodies and I knocked on the basement door.

"Isamu, it's clear." I called out

The door unlocked and everyone came out.

"Sorry about the damage we have the money." I said

I handed Izumi a stack of money.

"No no it's fine." she replied

"No it's our fault take it. Plus you gave us your care and it's the least I can do." I said

Izumi sighed and smiled and took the money but hesitated for a bit.

"Let's clean up the bodies." I said

Aneko and I carried the bodies and tossed them into the fireplace to burn them. Aragorn was busy cleaning the floor and the people who live here were all gasping and freaking out when they saw the bodies.

"I have a few friends who can fix this up once we leave." said Ayano

"Mi san, be careful there's a lot of blood there." said Tomoe

I also began cleaning the debris and furniture.

"You should get some rest, we'll be going to the airport soon." I said

2 hours later

"You're bringing quite a lot of stuff." I commented as I watched Izumi bring a luggage

"It's for backup just in case of an emergency." said Izumi

"Ah." I simply replied

We were in the airport getting ready to have our passports checked.

"Are you sure our weapons will come with your sword?" asked Aneko

"I hope." I replied. "I tied your weapons with mine so it should be fine."

It was my turn for the passport check so I approached the security guard and handed my passport to her.

"Ryu Kim, is that right?" she asked

"Yes." I replied

She began scanning it and then handed it back to me. I aided Aragorn and Aneko since they didn't know how to speak Japanese and we got our bags scanned through the metal detector.

I put my watch inside my bag but when it went through the scanner the security guard looked confused so they took my watch and examined it.

"What's this?" asked the security guard

"Oh it's a watch made for my school project." I replied

"What school do you go to that makes you make this watch?" questioned the security guard

"Princeton University." I replied

The security guard's eyes widened and I just smiled.

"I know, thanks." I commented

He put the watch back in my bag and when we were done we looked for our deck and took a seat.

"Oi you okay?" asked Aneko

"I'm fine, Hikari healed me so it's fine." I replied

"But you still seem to be making a face whenever you stand." said Aneko, "Let me see. Pull up your shirt."

"Wait what in public?" I asked

'Is this really happening?'

"Just do it." she demanded

I slowly lifted up my shirt revealing my hard worked toned body. I wasn't really into working out but ever since joining the MVA I had to work out.

"I didn't think a dweeb like you would have abs." commented Aneko

"Oh, I guess I'm the first." I chuckled

She examined it and caressed it and I trembled a bit, her fingers were so warm and smooth and I never had another girl caress my body.

"It's fine, Hikari must be a good healer." said Aneko

"Yea, she fixed your back." I replied

"Right." she replied

I looked up at her and my eyes widened when I saw that Aneko's cheeks were red, she was blushing and she looked hesitant making her look extremely cute. I saw Aragorn coming towards us with food so I quickly put down my shirt and Aneko looked away.

"Here sir, here's a couple sandwiches for the both of you." said Aragorn

He hands me and Aneko a sandwich and we devour it within seconds, I was so hungry and this sandwich was really good.

"It might take a while before we get on board." I said

I sighed and leaned back against my seat and crossed my arms.

"Are you going to go to sleep?" asked Aneko

But before I responded I felt something grab me and pull me away. I gasped and I saw myself sleeping on the chair then I realized I was in the void. I turned around and Demon was holding onto me.

"Why the fuck are you here?" I asked

She lets go of me and floats around in the air smiling but not in a pleasant way but in a very psychotic way.

"I had a talk with your mom-"

"Did you hurt her?" I snapped

"No, she's fine." she replied

She approaches me and smiles.

"But I learned something about you." she said

"What did you learn?" I asked while rolling my eyes

"About your father." she replied

I raised an eyebrow confused as to why my father had to do with this.

"Okay, and?" I asked

"You never told me, why?" she asked

"I mean, I lived without my father my entire life so I got used to it. I could care less what happened to him." I said

I sighed and looked at her.

"So you know that my mom was raped." I said

"Pretty, funny don't you think? Your mother was raped, you were raped by me." she said as she giggled to herself

"Is this why you came here?" I asked

"You still haven't told me why you didn't tell me." she said, "If you didn't feel ashamed about it why didn't you tell me?"

"Even if I felt ashamed do you think my mom wouldn't?" I asked

Demon's smile slowly disappeared and was replaced with a grim face.

"I would tell you but it just never came to my head because I never think about my dad." I said, "Plus I don't go around telling people my mom was raped just because I'm not ashamed of it."

I was getting slightly frustrated about this.

"So what? Why didn't you tell me about your past?" I asked

Demon looked away pissing me off.

"Was I not trustworthy?" I asked

"No it's not that-"

I grabbed her shoulders with my hands and violently shook her once.

"Then WHY?! Were you afraid?! There has to be a reason?!" I yelled

I began to feel emotional pain in my heart making me tear up.

"I loved you and I thought you did too." I said, "But were you just playing with my feelings?"

"No Ryu don't cry it's not..." she trailed off and looked down

She sighed and looked at me.

"I, I don't know what to say to you." she said, "But there is one thing, do not board the plane."

"Why?" I asked

"Just, don't." she said

"Why the hell do you care about me dying or not? Wouldn't killing me be the best thing for you to do for you to achieve your dreams?" I asked

"I can't kill you-"

"You honorably took Aiden's offer to kill me." I cut her off

"And you would be in hell and I would have removed you." she said, "You could have made life a bit easier."

"I'm sorry but I can't stand here and watch Aiden destroy worlds." I said, "Especially not after seeing you do it before."

Demon looked at me and backed down.

"Ryu, I just can't seem to let go of Aiden." she said

My heart sank, my hopes were up hoping she would maybe just love me.

"Then, there's nothing I can do to have you back." I replied, "No matter how much I loved you, just know, I'm in the same position as you."

And with that I snapped back to my body and I gasped and jerked up.

"Ryu?" questioned Aneko

"Sir are you okay?" asked Aragorn

I was breathing heavily and sweating a lot.

"I was in the void, with Demon." I said

Aneko's eyes widened and Aragorn slightly backed up.

"What did she say?" asked Aragorn

"She talked about my father but that was pointless." I replied, "But the one important thing she told me was to not board the plane."

Aneko groaned and Aragorn sat back down on his chair.

"So what now?" asked Aneko, "If we board we may endanger everyone on the plane."

"Exactly." I said

I looked around and sighed then thought about something.

"Oi, do any of you know how to act?" I asked
