A teenager woke up shakily, his head was aching and his eyes were burning like he was staring at a solar eclipse. He tried to lift his hands to desperately wipe his eyes only for them to not move at all.
After a few seconds of squirming and the feeling of panic building in his chest he felt a giant, gentle soft hand slowly and carefully wipe his eyes and gently caress his cheek.
He could now see giant blurry shapes ahead of him and tried to narrow his eyes to help his abhorrent vision, all that did was spark a boisterous laugh from one of the golden shapes.
"Brother! He is trying to see us!" The boisterous voice said loudly causing the teenager to wince.
What the hell is going on?
"We can all see you don't need to narrate for us" a far more sly sounding voice said almost scathingly as the dark haired figure glanced down at him.
"Boys" an older gentle feminine voice said tiredly. Both figures looked down slightly at her gentle reprimand.
The blond figure looked up quickly however and turned to the woman "Mother, what is to be his name?" He said gently as if the woman was a startled deer.
Those words reminded the teenager of his situation, he tried to sit himself up and speak but all that happened was that his core screamed in protest and his mouth only spit out something that seemed more like a witches curse than actual words.
He was ignored as the older woman gave him a searching glance that he couldn't see. Not that he could see but she seemed to come to a conclusion and was about to speak.
"I must beseech your pardon dear, but I have taken the privilege of naming him already" the largest figure said with his calm but oddly majestic voice.
The woman's eyes widened in shock then quickly narrowed in anger at the apologetic man who quickly spoke up before the woman.
"Aerion" the word seemed to have a feeling of power that rang around the room before the woman spoke up, not all too angry but confused.
"That…that is not an Asgardian name?" She asked the giant white haired man who chuckled lightly.
"No, it is not" he said mysteriously as the world was spinning for the teenager.
Asgard?
What the fuck

Aerion looked up at the giant golden palace, he once again tried to free his hand from his elder brother's unrelenting grip only to fail as the blonde man dragged him towards the palace.
Aerion…well simply put Aerion still didn't know what had happened, why was he in Asgard, what universe he was even in?
It was similar to Marvel's depiction of Asgard but to be honest it could potentially be something else, but as he remembered that in this world, that Loki was Thor's brother and Odin's son and that Frigga was his mother.
All seemed to point towards Marvel's depiction of the Norse Gods.
He put those thoughts in the back of his head for now, he didn't want to assume it was Marvel, he needed some more information first.
It had been nearly four years since he woke up here and honestly pretty much the whole time he had been some form of shocked, awed and shitface terrified.
Asgard was beautiful, its old buildings made of stone and wood were made with love and care with amazing details such as runes carved perfectly into the stone.
However the 'newer' parts of Asgard such as the golden palace was astonishing, he had been living there for four years and he's pretty sure he's not even explored half of the grandiose palace.
The animals of Asgard also blew his previous worlds wildlife out of the water for sheer destructive power, Ravens the size of dogs that could lift even full grown men.
Wolves and Boars the size of Grizzly bears that could topple trees with ease and could reach such speeds that even an asgardian soldier would be envious.
The bears here though, they were the real deal.
The bears here are somehow apparently descendants of dragons, you couldn't ask him how that happened but he does believe the rumours no matter how ridiculous they seem.
He recently spied one with a telescope from dozens of miles away, they were the size of a house with bulging muscle that couldn't be seen properly through the inches of fur that protected it from the large teeth and claws of fellow bears.
He had that same night decided to read up on them only to find accounts of bears that lived in the far mountains of Asgard that could compete with the strongest Asgardians with ease.
The strength of the bears was apparently so terrifying that they could even shake whole mountains in their fights.
Aerion stopped his mental ramble and shook his head as he followed behind his brother. Simply put Asgard was an astoundingly beautiful place home to animals that could tear cities apart.
"Brother come" his brother's sudden whisper made Aerion perk up, Thor wasn't usually one for whispers nor attempted subtlety.
Aerion followed behind the man and realised he was in a part of the castle he didn't recognise, he also heard the sounds of metal clashing and furrowed his dark eyebrows in slight confusion.
Mayhaps he was near some sort of blacksmith?
Thor brought him to a nearby balcony and gestured to the large open courtyard.
Aerions eyes were opened wide as he stared at some sort of training ground, dozens of men and women were all sparring.
Blades tearing through the air with speed so fast that he couldn't see where they ended up and could only hear the clangs of steel on steel.
The men and women were all in armour that shone in the sun above them, small shockwaves all emitted as blade met shields.
Aerion felt his blood rushing and his eyes take in every breath of movement from the soldiers, his admiration was cut short by the laugh of his elder brother.
"I knew you would like this!" He shouted boisterously, all previous attempts at subtlety gone, the smile on the man's face was genuine and wide on his face down at his four year old brother.
Aerion felt a smile raise on his face as he looked at his elder brother, he had to admit he did favour Thor over the rest of his family.
His new father Odin was calm but stern, his mother while welcoming seemed to coddle him which was normal but odd while he was mentally not a child.
Loki was simply put too sly, he was nice and seemed to truly care for him but Aerions potential future knowledge kept him on slight edge around his dark haired brother.
"I knew Loki and Mother were keeping you around those books too much brother!" Thor exuberantly said as he observed the wide eyed wonder on Aerions face.
Aerion simply nodded as he kept his eyes on the duels. "Come now, I'll bring you to the armoury" Thor said as he grabbed the small hand of his tiny brother and guided him to the nearby armoury.
It was almost empty but for two talking soldiers that quickly left after noticing Thor and Aerions presence. The room was gigantic with hundreds of blades, warhammers, spears and shields all neatly hung up on the intricately carved wooden walls.
Aerion took a few steps towards a short dagger laid on a bench nearby before Thor grasped him by the shoulder and handed him a short wooden blade.
"Come Aerion" Thor had the same small wooden blade that looked comically small in his giant hands. "Let us duel".
Aerion blinked and then felt a grin rise on his face.
Aerion knew he looked silly right now as he lunged towards the God of Thunder with a small wooden blade but the swelling of his heart and the racing of his blood made him feel like a warrior of old.
The training session was only 15 minutes long and Aerion was worn out, he was currently leaning on his knees as he took deep breaths trying to stay standing.
Whereas Thor simply looked down at the young child with a grin. "Come Aerion, a training session makes even the mightiest hungry!" The man said as he scooped up the exhausted boy and threw him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
The boy yelped as he was suddenly looking down at the floor and Thor's armoured shoulder, the armour was so polished that Aerion could see his platinum white hair that reflected the sunlight like a mirror.
His coal black eyes reflected his exhaustion perfectly as he fell asleep upon his elder brother's shoulder.

Aerion half awoke at the family's private dining table, Odin was staring at Thor in exasperation while Loki and Frigga stared at Thor with narrowed eyes.
"You have all but killed him Thor" Frigga said as she looked between the exhausted Aerion and the grinning Thunder God.
Thor was half stuffing his face full of the hearty food in front of him while glancing up with a smile every once in a while. "Mother, have no fear! Aerion is practically born for battle!" He shouted with a smile on his face.
Aerion blinked and almost started salivating at the food in front of him before copying his elder brother and shoving the food into his mouth akin to a starving hyena.
Frigga winced at his lack of table manners "Thor you have even taught him your lack of etiquette at feasts" she scolded the golden haired man.
Loki snorted "I also don't think Mother cares if he's born for battling or not, she probably doesn't want him turning out like you" he said scathingly ignoring the sharp look Frigga gave him.
Thor half choked on his meal before looking up at the God of Lies "I simply don't want him to turn into a coward like yourself brother" he said with narrowed blue eyes.
Frigga sighed, this is what always happened.
Aerion didn't care about anything other than food right now.
"A coward? Brother I am simply not a bumbling fool like yourself" Loki said with an upturned nose.
Thor was halfway through his own retort that included mentioning the one time as a child Loki screamed in fear of a wild boar while Thor wrestled the thing into submission.
It's a terribly touchy subject for Loki.
"Aerion, how did you find your first training session" Odin said with his voice cutting through the quickly building tension like a knife.
Aerion looked up "It was fun" he replied quickly before suddenly diving back into the food below. Odin gained a small smile before he looked up at the rest of his family.
"Now why don't we go back to enjoying the food" he said sternly to his older sons who both nodded before getting back to their meals.

Aerion had been thinking about this for a while, but by the gods he had been too nervous to speak of it out loud. He doesn't even know why but the subject just seems taboo.
For the first time he truly felt his body's age as his fingers nervously tapped against the wooden table.
He looked around the private dining room nervously, Thor and Loki had had another of their quarrels that left the table filled with tension as the duo stared at one another in anger.
"Father" Aerions voice seemed to echo around the beautiful room, he was now just over 8 years of age with his hair falling messily just past his eyes.
Odin looked up from his meal and met the coal black eyes of his son.
"Well, I was…I was wondering about, uh God stuff" Aerion said while he avoided the man's eyes, it felt awkward to talk about.
Odin blinked "God…stuff?" He questioned slowly.
"Thor is the God of Thunder, Loki is the God of Mischief…so um, will I be a God?" He asked with his heartbeat beating hard against his ribs.
The short silence after his question felt like an eternity as it dragged on.
Thors sudden laugh broke the building silence "Well with how good you are with a spear I'm sure you'll be a God of those" he said with a large grin.
Aerion didn't really want to be a god of spears, he loved spears and he did seem to be quite proficient with the weapon but….well his brother could summon lightning and his other brother knew some of the most advanced magic out there.
He didn't wanna just be the spear God.
"Maybe, it may be an aspect of his" Odin mused as his single eye seemed to analyse Aerions soul.
Aerion felt his breath catch, he really didn't wanna just be a God of Spears.
"But it will not be his main one" Odin said with confidence. "I named him Aerion for a reason" he said as he went back to eating.
Loki seemed to widen his eyes in sudden realisation.
"What?" Aerion asked with tension filling his body "What do you mean Father? Loki?".
But Loki sat wide eyed, Thor and Frigga glanced at each other in confusion and Odin simply gave Aerion a small smile.
Still none gave him an answer.
