new year was around the corner everyone was excited to end the disastrous year of 2020,all the billboards had the countdown 4h21m35s..34s..33s...and that got interrupted by an emergency alert by NASA. It was said that multiple meteorites were heading to earth, and if that wasn't disturbing

enough after multiple calculations of the trajectory of each individual meteorite, it was discovered that 2 of them are heading to each continent and one to each island, making the scientist think that this was deliberate and that an extraterrestrial force is involved.

everyone was panicking even me, I thought that maybe we were never supposed to survive 2020.

I started calling all my enemies and settling my differences with them, unsurprisingly they all were very accepting, it seems am not the only one thinking of raising their karma.

my door breaks and I see three zombies trying to get in at the same time which bought me enough time to equip the rifle with the mags and start shooting like a madman. Until I empty the magazine.

'shit the inside of the building is filled with zombies' looking at the minimap showing dozens of red dots throughout the building. I am on the second floor , I look through the window seeing no zombie outside , I then see the pipe at the side of the window. I grab onto the pipe then start sliding down. 'this zombie apocalypse will be worse than the movies because of the quarantine. I run through the streets towards the hills shooting all the zombies on the way.

I reach a clearing after which I hastily open inventory and click on the portable house and put it down in the clearing noting the UI resembling that of Sims appearing showing the space required which is 20m² with 2floors.

I enter the house then look at the alert

I find a terminal in the living room. I go there and put my hand on the terminal for no real reason, and the terminal glows and I hear a synthetic voice say

'wow! but is this all that is magical about the house?', I look at the terminal and see two options.

I click on the house customization and Sims UI appears showing the available modification which is all locked it seems to require resources such as wood, stone, marble..etc.

then I click on the house configuration and I see two equipped.

{- violence restrictions: no one can fight/assault anyone inside the house.

- entry restrictions: no one and nothing can enter the house except owner}

'ohh! this is worthy of being called magical hhhh, so I am safe here Maybe I'll just sit this out' then I remembered the failure condition of the quest and realized this maybe a test and the system knew and gave the failure condition and the house at relatively the same time. 'I was wondering how can I fail through surviving 5 years without finishing the quest? doubting I can survive that long without having killed the required amount of zombies even if I only killed once a day'.
