Beautiful thing

Three days later.

"Okay, okay, okay, you cannot tell me that this is not delicious" said Maddie as she had her mouth full as she spoke.

"Maddie, table manners" said Matt as he shook his head and he laughed.

"Matt is right my dear, table manners please" said Lisa as she smiled.

"Oh alright" said Maddie as she chewed and she ate her food.

"Aunt, this is so delicious" said Maddie as she smiled, Lisa had decided to make them breakfast today, which was an omelette and Maddie had never tasted anything like this before, no one ever cooked for her before.

"Well Thank you Maddie" said Lisa as she smiled, she had never been complimented the way Maddie was complimenting her.

"Annie do you feel alright?" asked Lisa as she turned to look at Annie.

"Yes Mom" said Annie as she looked up and she smiled, she was just thinking, thinking on many things, she still felt like there was something she was supposed to remember, but she just could not, she could not figure out if it actually happened, or if it was a dream, and Curtis not being around did not help her questions at all.

"You don't look so good dear" said Lisa as she smiled looked worried.

"Your mother Is right dear, are you alright?" asked John as he looked concerned and everyone looked at Annie as she looked at him all, they all looked worried and it made her laugh that they all had more or less the same expression on their faces.

"I am alright everyone, I just am not hungry, that's all" said Annie as she smiled, they all could be sweet, but they could be as equally annoying when they did not let her be.

"Oh alright, if you say so dear" said Lisa as she smiled and Annie smiled.

"Well John, let's go or else we will be late" said Lisa as she looked at John.

"Where are you guys going?" asked Annie as she looked at her father and her mother.

"Well Annie, we are going to the orphanage, we promised to volunteer there today" said John as he drank his coffee.

"Oooh, can I go with you guys??" asked Annie, she was tired of being in the Castle all day.

"Well no sweetie, sorry, you need to get better first, but for now, you need to stay put" said Lisa.

"*Sigh* Alright" said Annie as she sighed, she was tired of having to stay put, it really was frustrating not being allowed to go anywhere, and being confined to one space.

"Alright Sweetie, we have to go now, we will see you later" said John as he stood up and he walked to Annie as he gave her a kiss on the forehead which made her smile.

"Okay dad" said Annie as she smiled.

"Bye Sweetie" said Lisa as she stood up as well and she smiled.

"Bye Mom" said Annie as she smiled.

"Bye Uncle, Bye Aunt, don't worry, we will take care of Annie and make sure that she doesn't do anything stressful" said Maddie as she smiled.

"Thank you dear, I know I can trust on you" said Lisa as she smiled at Maddie and Maddie smiled at her.

"See you" said John as he smiled.

"Bye sir" said Matt as John and Lisa walked away.

"Oooh so Annie, what do you want to do?" asked Maddie as she turned to look at Annie.

"Well I want to go out" said Annie.

"How about we go to the garden?" asked Matt.

"Are we allowed to do that??" asked Annie as she looked at Matt with wide eyes.

"Mhmm right, good idea Matt, yes Annie we are allowed to go basically anywhere we want in the Castle" said Maddie as she laughed.

"Ooh okay then let's go" said Annie as she smiled, she was excited that she was finally going to see some new scenery, she had only been to the Palace garden about two times.

"Alright" said Maddie as she stood up, she had finished eating her breakfast.

"Okay" said Matt as he stood up and Annie stood up as she followed after them.

"Now this feels so good" said Annie as she smiled as she Maddie and Matt were walking in the Palace Garden, which was probably as big as the Palace itself, there were blooming colourful flowers everywhere, and the grass and hedges were green.

"Haha" said Maddie as she laughed, as Annie soaked in the sun, she was sure that she had been indoors too long.

"I do agree with you Annie, the garden is so beautiful" said Matt as he smiled.

"Are you sure that is the only beautiful thing here??" asked Maddie as she winked and she looked at Matt.

"Well No, the clear blue sky is beautiful as well" said Matt as he knew what Maddie was trying to do as he looked up and pointed at the sky, if he didn't know any better, he would say that this was Evie's doing, she was acting way too much like Evie right now.

"And the green grass, and the colourful flowers" said Matt as he pointed to everything except for the obvious.

"Okay go on, go on" said Maddie as she was prepared to wait for him to go through his list of excuses before he went to the real deal, Annie wasn't even paying attention to them, she was just smiling looking around and basking in the warm sunlight, she was sure that she had not felt the warm rays of the sun in over a month.

"Oh I can go on Maddie" said Matt as he looked at Maddie and he squinted his eyes at her, he knew what she was aiming at.

"Hey Guys!!!" came the voice of a guy that Annie had never seen before who was waving at them way in front.

"Oh no it's him!!" said Maddie as she panicked.

"I thought he wasn't coming back here anytime soon??" asked Matt as he looked at Maddie and he shook his head.

"I knew it was too good to be true" said Maddie as she shook her head, they only had three days of rest from him.

"What are you guys talking about?" asked Annie as she turned to look at Maddie and Matt as the guy in front of them was walking towards them with a smile.

"There is no time to explain Annie, but we need to go now, you will thank me later" said Maddie as she held Annie's hand and they turned around to walk away quickly.

"Okay???" asked Annie as she did not understand what was going on, and even Matt was agreeing with Maddie as they walked away, she had so many questions, who was that guy? And why were they trying to avoid him??

"Why is he in the garden of all places??" asked Maddie as she scoffed.

"I think he is following us, I can hear him" said Matt as they kept on walking and Maddie was still holding on to Annie as they were basically trying to escape at this point.

"Well then we just have to make sure he doesn't catch up to us" said Maddie as she looked very annoyed.

"Okay, we have had lots of fun, but I caught up to you guys" came the voice of the same guy as he suddenly appeared In front of them which gave Maddie, Matt and Annie a fright.

"Ahhh!!" said Annie and Maddie in shock as Mat flinched as they stopped walking.

"Where did you come from??!!" asked Maddie as she tried to calm down her racing heart.

"Well from the witch realm" said the boy as he laughed.

"Oh hello, hello who is this??" asked the boy as he smiled.

"Well if it isn't the controversial Annie Grey" said the boy as he smiled at her and he walked closer to Annie, while Annie was just wondering who in the world this new person was??

"Prince Oliver Vinewreath, it is a pleasure to finally meet you" said the boy named Oliver as he took Annie's hand and he kissed the back of her hand as he smiled and Maddie scoffed at him while Matt frowned.

"Prince Oliver??" asked Annie in surprise, just who the heck was he?? And Maddie and Matt didn't really seem to like him.

"Yes, but you can just call me Ollie, my friends do" said Ollie as he smiled.

"Prince Ollie??" asked Annie.

"Ah, ah, ah, just Ollie" said Ollie as he smiled.

"Okay Ollie" said Annie.

"That's better" said Ollie as he smiled and he let go of her hand as he smirked.

"Umm forgive me for asking this, but who exactly are you??" asked Annie as she still did not know who he was, he called himself a Prince, and yet she had never heard of him before.

"Ahh well, I am Prince Oliver Vinewreath, Prince of the Witch Realm, also known as the future King of the Witch realm" said Ollie as he smiled and he winked, he did not mind introducing himself to Annie again.
