AN UNLIKELY ALLIANCE
The king was inside his throne room, going through the latest report he had recieved from his war council concerning how the transfer of soldiers and all capable fighters from the colonies to the capital was going. According to the generals, the capital's soldier population had risen by more than thirty percent in the last two to three days since the order had been given..at the same time, the capital's total population had gone back to what it was in the past before news of the Samurai invasion had spread.
Now, all those who had shown signs of wanting to migrate out of the capital for either the capital or any of the unregulated territories had stopped their plans and chosen to just stick with the capital after seeing all the protective measures being put in place at the capital. Also, even the people who had left in a hurry when they first heard the news had started coming back to the capital slowly as the days wore on.
