4. Investigating The Unknown

After losing consciousness I saw a silhouette from the distance... "Who ar-" while I was about to ask a flash of red water begun to emerge it was covering my feet, it felt eerie and wasn't long till it reached my face "Agbbrggg..." Bubbles*. All of the sudden I heard a voice "Wa.. U.. Wak.. Up.. Hey wake up!" Poof* little bit drowzy "I must have used up all of my mana" " Let me check on something real quick, status!" I'm now level 13 and had a skill "Platinum armour" as it names imply I got my whole body covered with platinum it varies when I change form like human, wolf, spider, even slime can have armor. As I think back my actions was really smooth and quick I was moving like an expert but now I'm trying my chantless magic again while human form but... Intensely thinking of fire, pop* a small fire appeared then extinguished, I'm a little down but I know I can do this with a little more practice but as I was daydreaming I heared a something deep in the cave. As I went deeper there were no more torches so I used night vision and saw a wall on the right getting near it felt like a disaster was inside waiting to be released, but the voice was deeper within the cave, hastily running in the cave while seeing some bugs on the wall that was gonna spray or pounce on me I shoot out boiling water blades and devour them by having a clone behind to devoure them then follow me quickly.

I can faintly see it, something panting surrounded by 4 black snakes, a size of a child, with poison coming out its body, "Earth Spikes!" The earth begun forming spikes that pierce the snake's body. My clone bundle them up with wind shakles in a corner to let him devoure it, looking at the spot where they encircled a whimper can be heard "auuuuu" a 2 tailed fox was lying on the floor with its body wounded I touched its body to feel if it was the only injury "High fever?" "Ah poisoned must be from the snakes, maybe I have cure in my magic" "Cure" the wounds where healed but the fever didn't go away I thought of making some anti-venom but that would take time and I don't have any animal to make it "hmm.." "This may be risky but I feel bad for it so-" I injected the venom on me freezing it and digesting it doing this over and over for half an hour making my antibodies stronger then a skill pop up, pop* "poison resistance lvl.3" "Good, this should work" I stepped closer at the fox, whimper* "Hey, hey, hey, shh it's okay I'm here to help you" I put the dorsal aspect of my hand in front of its face. Sniff* "See, that's it pat* now you need to trust me okay you need to eat this-" a slime ball made out of my body that has posin resistance. This should work a chance of around 80% I'm sure, it started eating the slime "There that should help you get rid of the poison". As the fox was sleeping, I saw my clone that was about to devoure the snakes budump* I heard a beat from one of the snakes "But how? I pierced their body" I looked with heat vision from the flying spider. One was female and had an egg that's why they where in group, I'm a murder how could I... Even if its an animal, I need to take the consequences of my action the child is not born yet so it has not done anything wrong yet. "I'll keep you li'l guy, I'm so sorry for killing your mother without knowing" sniff* "I'm really sorry-" . Time passed the fox started to calm down for the next few hours it showed to be lively so I guessed it's okay now, "lets see your status okay, status open" it got annoying saying status all the time now that I'm doing it infront of someone.

I made a back pack with thick cloth so that the egg is all warmed up, I also pick up the fox and tried to leave the cave as soon as possible but before leaving I send the clone at the luring wall to wait for my signal to push it, because I think its a trap for luring adventurers. "There we go, lets go there near the cliff ok" The fox just squeeled for approval, I send the signal to open it up, as it opens up there was a click then stream of water floods down in the cave "Good thing we aren't in front of the cave huh" I felt relieve. After that there there was a wave of lightning, fire and wind from the inside of the wall then the whole cave strats to freeze in just seconds, after that Iwent to the cave then made my clone return to me in the front of the cave. As expected of my clone with my ability he wore the platinum armor with rocks and dirt for the outer shell, "Hey little fox, I guess this is goodbye I'll see ya-" as I was to get inside a little girl hugged me "Please don't leave me alone-" sniff sniff* "I won't be a burden to you so please let me help you" the girl was looking at me. "Eh- little fox is that you?, in that case won't your parents be worriedly looking for you?", "My village was raid by humans without warning, thinking that we were low life that shouldn't exist laughing while killing and burning us alive I... I couldn't-" shaken by her story 'The sin of killing' "do you have anywhere to go?", "None" she quickle replied "Okay then follow me but first wear this-" I made a big shirt using webbing "That should be enough for now" she bowed then said "Thank you very much" with a warm smile on her face. Now then lets head back inside...
