A.I.M. Part 7

We quickly left the place. While we are buying flowers for Riri and Laura's parents, Psylocke asks me:

"You know who the culprits are, right?"

"Yes, those men who attacked us must have been sent by Aldrich Killian"

"How do you know?" Pietro asked.

"The time they visited us in Genosha they insisted on meeting Riri"

"This time those men were watching Riri at all times and they wanted to kidnap her" I said.

Everyone nods in agreement.

"So what do they want from me?" Riri asked annoyed.

"I don't know, but we'll find out" I told her as I gently stroked her head.

I don't know what A.I.M. intend to do if they capture Riri, but one thing is for sure, I will finish them off if they try to take her away.

For the moment we quickly bought the flowers and went to the cemetery.

Once in the cemetery we looked for the grave of Sarah Kinney.

It's been a while since we visited her. It's because of her request at that time that I am now on this path.

I don't really hate the path my life took by agreeing to help her, instead I am very grateful.

After spending some time here, we went to find Riri's family to place flowers on their graves.

At the other side of the city

There's a meeting.

In an office there are three people, two of them are listening to the report of the last one.

When the man finished his report...

"So our men failed, huh?" Aldrich asked.

"Yes sir, our enemy was strong and we were unable to capture Riri Williams" his subordinate told him.

"Looks like it's going to be tough, even if we get her out of Genosha" Aldrich muttered.

After a few seconds, he turns to the person next to him and asks:

"Can you take care of capturing her, Zhang Tong? According to reports, that girl has a suit similar to Tony Stark's"

This catches the attention of the person named Zhang Tong. This Chinese man is not an ordinary person, he is a powerful master of martial arts, possessor of a set of Ten Rings of alien origin which grant him extraordinary powers and is commonly known as the Mandarin.

Raising his eyebrow, the Mandarin says:

"I'll do it, since that girl is necessary for A.I.M. and for my plans, but I need you to lend me some of your men"

Aldrich doesn't complain and agrees to his request.

Calmly the Mandarin walks towards the exit while saying:

"Good luck with your revenge against Tony Stark"

Before the Mandarin leaves the room completely, Aldrich with a cold smile says:

"Don't worry, I'll destroy all his dreams and make him sink into despair, so he understands how I felt when he did the same to me"

The Mandarin says nothing and leaves the room to go capture his target: Riri Williams, and finish off anyone who gets in the way.
