A.I.M. Part 8

Alex Wayne POV

After visiting Riri and Laura's parents, we returned to the hotel to rest.

The next day, we went out for a walk. After all, it's been a long time since I came to New York.

Pietro was the first to go out, it seems that the girls he talked yesterday asked him out.

After relaxing for a bit, Psylocke, Wanda, Rouge, Laura, Riri, and I also went for a walk.

I don't know if A.I.M. will try to attack us again.

The only thing we can do at the moment is have fun.

"We haven't been able to do this in a long time" a smiling Wanda said.

"You're right, we should do it more often" Rogue said.

The other girls nod their heads.

"I think we should go back to Genosha" in a tired way I said.

The girls just roll their eyes at my words.

They can't understand my situation but any man would.

After all, I am currently accompanying these women on their shopping trips and I must say, once they start, these women can't stop.

We only finished when it was lunchtime.

After lunch we decide to return to the hotel, after all tomorrow we will go to the Xavier's mansion.

As we walk toward the hotel, I realize that we are being watched.

The girls realize that too.

Nodding, we take another path and enter a construction area. We know that it is the right place to receive the people who follow us, after all, there is no one currently working.

Seconds after entering the building a group of ten people appear, this group is led by a middle-aged Asian man.

The striking thing is his Taoist clothes and the rings on his fingers.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Zhang Tong and I'm here to take Miss Riri Williams. I hope you understand"

This guy seems familiar to me, especially because of the rings he has.

Raising my eyebrow, I respond by saying:

"Looks like they really want to take Riri, to think that they sent the Mandarin to accomplish this mission"

"Oh, to think that the governor of Genosha knows me, that's an honor" the Mandarin said.

This is really annoying, this guy has these rings, each with special abilities and I don't know if my 'Imagine Breaker' will work.

"Since I don't agree to your request, what will you do?" I asked him.

"Then, you leave me no choice" the Mandarin said as he sends his men to attack us.

We prepare for their attack.
