Chapter 10

" Welcome to the finals of the Mistral regional cup. In one corner we have the dark horse of the tournament, Seijuro Akashi!! "

Cheers erupted from the crowd as Akashi walked into the arena. He was wearing a normal black hoodie with a black shirt underneath and comfortable pants.

He smile on his face as his eyes stared ahead.

" And in the other corner we have Mistrals very own goddess of victory, Pyrrha Nikos!! "

Cheers erupted once again as Pyrrha entered the arena with a smile on her face wearing her usual attire.

Akashi and Pyrrha looked at each other as their eyes held excitement for the match to start.

Meanwhile on the island of Patch, inside a home...

" Dad hurry up!! The match is going to start soon!! " Ruby yelled from the living room.

" Okay Ruby calm down. At least let me get a drink please. " Tai said as he walked in with a beer before sitting on the couch.

" That drink is important but this is more important than that Dad. " Yang said as she looked at the TV screen.

" Yang right. Also shut up its going to start!! " Ruby said while bouncing up and down on the chair.

Tai just sighs as he looks at the screen. Ruby and Yang pestured him to watch the tournament with him.

After Akashi beat his oppenent in round one in one hit, everyone was talking about it on social media.

Some thoight it was just a fluke and he wouldn't have gone far, getting knocked out in the next round. Tai listened to Ruby and Yang argue to see what he does next and made a bet.

Yang lost. Badly. Ruby better that Akashi would get to the finals while Yang said he wouldn't.

As for how Badly, Akashi beat all of his oppenents in one hit each time. It took Yang all the control brain cells she had to not punch Ruby in the face for how she floated at her. She now owed her sister cookies for an entire month.

However Pyrrha actions just blew up social media even more. After seeing Akashi beating his oppenents one hit, she did the same thing.

Chaos was shown everywhere as people discussed this. People began debating on who would win in the finals.

Pyrrha supporters were massive as her feats of winning the last 2 tournaments were brought up many times. Plus both Akashi and Pyrrha beat there oppenents in one hit.

They tried to discuss aura and semblance but they couldn't as Akashi was a new participant and Pyrrha semblance was unknown to the public as she wanted to keep it a secret.

" It's starting!!! " Ruby yelled.

" We get it Ruby! Now sit down so we can watch! " Yang said.

" Okay, Okay. " Ruby said pouting before becoming excited again. Tai smiled as he looked towards the screen.

" The rules are the same. With that said let the match begin! "

Akashi and Pyrrha rushed at each other as their fists met in the middle. As their punch collided, a large boom sound occurred as the ground below cracked into a spider web.

Akashi grinned as did Pyrrha before they attacked with another punch.

They clashed with each other as they blocked and paried the others pucnhes and kicks. Sparks flew as the impact of their auras collided.

They jumped back after their exchange as Akashi brought out his swords while Pyrrha brought out her sheild and spear.

Quickly switching her weapon to a rifle Pyrrha fired at Akashi. Akashi seeing this blocked with his swords, cutting the bullets as they reached him.

He then dodged some before charging in. Seeing this Pyrrha switched to a spear and waited.

Akashi reached her and attacked. Pyrrha blocked with her sheild before using her spear. Akashi dodged and lept back knowing that he was at a disadvantage since Pyrrha had more reach than him.

He brought out the revolver he had on him and shot at Pyrrha. He didn't use his blasters as he didn't want Atlas to know that they existed.

The shots went towards Pyrrha as she blocked them with her sheild before firing back and rushing in.

Akashi dodged the bullets and parried aganiest her spear while firing shots at her. Pyrrha blocked some but got hit as she fired back, hitting Akashi.

Akashi reloaded and fired back as Pyrrha blocked. Using that, Akashi rushed at Pyrrha at even faster speed than before appearing before her instantly.

Pyrrha was shocked for just a moment which allowed Akashi to hit her with his sword. Pyrrhas aura took a hit but she didn't back down, retaliating with a kick to the chin.

Akashi bent his back, barely avoiding the attack. Pyrrha noticed and quickly attacked his legs as Akashi jumped back to get some space.

Pyrrha didn't let up as she attacked. She trusted her spear at Akashis head. Akashi tilted his head to the side.

Pyrrha attacked again as Akashi dodged and parried with his swords, before getting hit with a kick to the gut as flew back.

Pyrrha then changed to a shortsword and rushed in. Akashi saw this and rushed in as well.

They traded blow for blow as sparks flew from their weapons clashing. They had smiles on their faces as they enjoyed the fight.

Akashi attacked with his sword which Pyrrha clashed with her own. Using this Akashi attacked with his revolver, aiming at her face.

Pyrrha narrowly dodged as she tilted her head jumping back quickly. Akashi didn't give a chance as threw his sword at her.

Seeing this Pyrrha blocked with her sheild and deflected it. Akashi rushed in with his other sword and clashed with Pyrrha short sword.

Thinking quickly Akashi flipped her away. Pyrrha quickly got up but noticed that their was noting in her right hand.

She looked forward and saw Akashi with her weapon. Her eyes widened as she released Akashi took it during that exchange.

Akashi didn't let up as he appeared in front of her. He thrusts his sword at her face which she dodged.

However Akashi noticed a little resistance that went into his sword. It was tiny but it was enough to miss Pyrrha.

Akashi reacted quickly and attacked again as Pyrrha blocked with her sheild to redirect it.

Akashi attacked again and again as Pyrrha dodged and jumped over him to get to her weapon.

Akashi knew he couldn't let Pyrrha get her weapon do he rushed at her. He thrusts his sword with his left hand as Pyrrha blocked and jumped to her right.

' So her semblance is magnestisim. 'Akashi thought as he looked at his hand that wouldn't move when wanted to strike Pyrrha as he wore his gloves.

Quickly activating his gloves, the magnetic field generated cancelled out Pyrrha hold over him.

' He knows. I'll have to end this soon. ' Pyrrha thought.

Akashi looked at Pyrrha who had her weapon back in her hand. Quickly activating the other glove, Akashi then rushed at her.

Pyrrha took a breath as Akashi appeared in front of her. Akashi attacked by slashing with his swords as Pyrrha blocked and parried.

Pyrrha was looking for an opening while Akashi kept attacking.

' Emperor eye. ' Akashi thought. Activating his semblance Akashis eyes became slits as they looked at Pyrrha.

Akashi attacked Pyrrha as Pyrrha fought back but kept getting pushed back. Akashi used his left arm to slash with his sword as it meet with Pyrrhas weapon.

Adding extra strength, Akashi knocked Pyrrhas weapon out of her hand as his sword slipped out of his from the impact.

Ignoring that, Akashi attacked quickly towards Pyrrha. Pyrrha dodged while using her sheild as she managed to knock Akashi sword out of his hands.

Akashi quickly grabbed Pyrrha with his left hand and threw her over his shoulder as she rolled away.

He grabbed his falling sword and ran over to her as she layed on her back. Stepping on her wrist he aimed his sword at her neck.

Pyrrha was silent as she stared at Akashi. Her eyes widened before they returned to normal as she knew what happened.

" I lost. "

So this chapter was between Akashi and Pyrrha.

I am not that good in writing fight scenes so please tell me how was it in the comments.

Also the gloves Akashi wore was the magnetic gloves that he made. Basically I thought that 2 different magnetic fields would cancel each other out.
