The rest of the students were shocked as Alex's numbers were not normal. The officer-in-charge looked at his tablet to see his background. Alex's personal information came up and he saw that everything was normal.

"Why are my scores so high? It must be because of that change in the body."

Alex concluded as he thought that it was abnormal for him to score that high. In the past, he tested his force onto practice dummies that were for beginners. It did not measure force but it required a force that could destroy it. It was for commoners that required a force of 150.

"Alright, I think everyone has completed the force measurement. For those that did not pass and have a score below E, you may exit and follow that officer. He will instruct you on the direction that will fit you in the future or should I say office-related duties. For those that would remain, you also have the choice to follow that officer if you would not want to proceed to the next test."

There were a few that passed followed by the officer. Everyone guessed that they would not want to live a life full of danger. The ones that remain will become those that will fight on the frontlines.

"Two people have reached a score above 300, so they will be eligible to try and passed the examination of project metal for those the rest of you who did not qualify you still have the chance in the future depending on your improvements."

"Project Metal depends on the person's age to force ratio. Clearly, most of you did not reach the qualified force despite your age. The Project requires a minimum of 300 force and the age of 17. Do I make myself clear?"

Everybody understood now as to what the officer clarified for them. He did not want an unwanted repetition of the questions regarding Project Metal.

The day continued as the officer brought them to other facilities to test their physique. There were no problems as Alex passed them all with ease. They did an endurance test, a reflex test which made it a little difficult for Alex, Sprint which far exceed records from 500 years ago. The human body has evolved and developed into something much more than their predecessors of old.

After being done with all of the officer's tests, the real examination was about to begin. The officer declared and announced the results that made the students segregated into sections that will be taught by instructors in the academy. Project Metal was a special course that would allow students-in-training to be able to use the top-of-the-line frames.

The officer called Alex and Celine, as he was about to take them to a special floor in which Project Metal would test candidates.

"Follow me."

It did not take too long as the three of them arrive in a secured part of the space station guarded by soldiers that seemed to be highly trained than those that could be seen usually.

The door opened and the two of them greeted the room with excited expressions. The room was full of high-tech machines that were used to measure the potential and compatibility of the users to the frames that they were going to use.

"This here is a pod that will enable you to access the virtual playground that will test your skills if you are capable enough to don the frames developed by project metal."

Alex looked at the pod with curious eyes. Celine, on the other hand, did not give to much of a reaction seemingly this was not her first time seeing such contraptions.

"Step inside and we will begin the process of detecting your physique potential."

Alex hopped inside as he sat on the chair which was really uncomfortable and placed his arms on the side. The pod closed its hatch and soon a helmet slowly lowered onto Alex's head as it fitted itself perfectly. The arms were then covered with metal with wires attached to it. Both legs were also done the same as Alex saw the pod system initiating.

[System Initiating...Please wait a moment]

Outside the pod watched the officer and Celine as also the other instructors and some scientists that were present. They watched and anticipated the outcome of this new recruit if he would pass.

Ding!

A notification sound as Alex almost forgot that he also had a system.

[Warning! Something unknown is scanning your body. Automatic defense protocols activated.]

"What the freaking thing is happening?"

Alex was confused as to what was going on. He did not know how to control his system as it began its own countermeasures.

The pod system was malfunctioning as Alex's system was blocking it making it unable to run its function. The scientists on the outside saw an error on the screen as they were trying as fast as they could to stop to avoid an accident. It was the first time this has happened so they did not know what to do but playing safe they wanted it to stop to avoid injuries or death.

It took a few minutes for the scientists to stop the pod as Alex was pulled out due to safety concerns. They ruled out that Alex was not compatible with the project. It made Alex sad as this was his dream. What did his system do wrong in the first place? Did this piece of unknown technology broken or something?

There was a lot going through his mind. The officer announced that he was disqualified as he had a downcast look on his face.

"Even though you have an innate force of over 300 with the age of 17. You still did not qualify to be on Project Metal. Don't worry, there are a lot of students and examinees who fail this test. You're not the only one. You can still try other courses."

"Yes, Sir!"

Alex remembered the voice command as he said it in a low voice, "Open."

------

Alex

Age: 17

Strength: 15

Agility: 7

Constitution: 9

Passive: Physical Reinforcement

------

It's still the same as last time but there is a Physical Reinforcement and also the strength rose from 10 to 15. I guess that solves the question of how I got that score over 300. Alex checked the system but it seemed there were no problems. It was still a mystery to him on how this would work. What and how could he unlock its other functions, he asked himself.

Alex got home and entered his room with a down looked as he saw Bart waiting for him with happy expressions.

"I made it, Alex!"
