24. RAIN & JEALOUSY

Loud siren voice rang in the atmosphere with a following warning.

"The weather is about to get worst in two hours. Teams have been allotted in the outskirts of town and insides of the town.

Please stay inside your houses or safety houses until the next warning. The weather..." They groaned hearing this announcement.

It was not new for their city to have bad weather conditions. They knew it is like any other day in the middle of summer. But they didn't know that how their life will give them such a wonderful chance to stay together.

Small pitter patter grew heavy as they fastened their steps.

He looked at her then looked away contemplating what to do and what not. Gulping down the lump he followed her while trying to get control on his mind. He was never so soft on anyone. How come she bring out his hidden care? Raising his eyebrows stepping hard on the concrete ground.
