-Chapter 152-
-POV Daenerys Targaryen-
Perched on Drogon, who now measured 25 feet long, I smiled as I flew over and dominated the scene from the air.
'You thought it was over and you had won, but this is just the beginning,' I thought, tapping Drogon's back twice. He then let out the biggest roar of his life, a rallying signal for all of Benerro's spies infiltrated in the city.
---
-POV 3rd-
"Mhysa is coming," said a slave upon hearing Drogon's roar.
"Kill the masters," said another, lunging at an overseer, wrapping his chains around his neck to strangle him.
Another slave retrieved the keys, freed himself, then threw them to someone else before picking up the whip the overseer had dropped during the struggle.
He whipped a guard in the face, marking him with an indelible bloody scar. Before the guard even understood what was happening, the slave drew the sword from the guard's belt and pierced his throat.
The slave withdrew the sword from the guard's throat, watching the latter try to bring his hands to his wound to stop the blood from escaping his body.
Unfortunately for the guard, it only took a few seconds before he choked on his own blood and sank into eternity.
"KILL THE MASTERS"
Seeing the masters being killed one after another, the other slaves, still undecided, joined the insurgents and began to fight. Very quickly, they overwhelmed the guards meant to prevent them from leaving their enclosures.
Similar scenes appeared all over the city, and soon, the wealthiest families retreated in panic to their pyramids, while the less fortunate master families were left at the mercy of the enraged slaves who wanted only one thing.
"KILL THE MASTERS"

-POV Ser Jorah Mormont-
Seeing the gates of the City of Meereen open made me sigh with relief, for I was truly afraid that our plan would fail at the gates of this City.
"You must have faith, Ser Jorah," said Benerro on a horse beside me upon hearing my sigh of relief.
I sniffed and said nothing. Though he was helping us, I did not trust him because he was not loyal to our family, only loyal to the cause of his God, and who knows what his God will want tomorrow.
I shouted, raising my sword in front of me to launch the charge into Meereen.
We then charged straight into the City's streets.
I did not stop to kill the masters, for we had more important targets: the granaries that we had to secure properly this time, otherwise we would suffer from...
BOOOOM
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOON, you son of a bitch, they really want us to starve. Even if we win, without granaries, we will face," I thought, striking my horse's flank with my heels to make it go faster.
Once we arrived in front of the granary, seeing the flames spreading quickly, I felt a sledgehammer blow to my neck. But Priest Benerro said: "Do not worry, the Lord of Light will help us save this granary."
He shouted several times, waving his Goldenheart staff set with a magical jewel resembling a red diamond, "Aeksio Rivonios." The flames that were ravaging the granary were absorbed into the jewel.
"Fire cannot be used as a weapon against Azor Ahai and his faithful of the Lord of Light," said Benerro before completely extinguishing the fire.
'We have won, we are the victors. Even with magical powers, King Aegon VI will be powerless against us,' I thought.

-POV MC-
-15th day of the 10th moon of the year 299 AC-
"We have lost Meereen," said Bryan.
"Meereen was never ours to begin with," I said quietly, watching the training of my royal guards.
"You don't seem angry," said Connor, confused by my reaction or rather by my lack of reaction.
"Why would I be angry?" I asked.
Connor smiled and said: "Not to me, I know perfectly well how much you wanted Daenerys Targaryen at all costs. You had so many opportunities to force her to come, but you didn't."
"I needed her to give me offspring capable of becoming dragon riders with a powerful Valyrian lineage. But now that I have found Bellegere, I no longer need her. She can play savior on the other side of the world if she likes," I said.
"With this mess, we have lost our influence in the City of Meereen, which also affects our influence in Slaver's Bay as well as in the Ghiscari sphere of influence."
"It doesn't matter. With the fall of Meereen, we managed to evacuate the slavers' hidden fortune, a total of more than 213 tons of gold, thousands of tons of bronze, silver, hundreds of chests containing jewelry, precious stones, and more."
"That's not bad, but compared to the benefits that would have provided..." said Connor before I interrupted him by saying: "... And I can also erase the debt of all the slaver families of Meereen and Yunkai, because they ally with an enemy nation or die under the swords of that same enemy nation."
"So the total gains amount to more than 40 million gold dragons," said Bryan.
"Exactly," I said before adding: "I don't want to start a war against Daenerys. She is part of my family. Now that I no longer need her, she can do what she wants as long as she stays on the other side of the Narrow Sea. I have enough worries in Westeros to launch into a conquest that my descendants will not be able to keep in the long run."
