Chapter 4- First Dungeon Experience

Seven days have passed since Nova took it on himself to buy the sub-dimensional dungeon.

He took on as many boring and mundane quests he could and even took on some that he never thought he would be able to do as well. As a result people around him started to notice him a bit more and acknowledge his hard work. Specially his family they were a bit surprised in the beginning but after that they just hoped that their son would continue to be like this.

"Hey Nova you missed this, here".

" uhh thanks Alice I wouldn't notice it if you didn't point it out but if you don't mind me asking why are you still here though"?

The girl named Alice sighed then started to talk about what she was worried about. " I think Jose might be cheating on me. I even saw him going with Leah,

both of them were holding hands and walking together towards to market and before you refute me I already asked him if he could go to the mall with me that same day, I somehow coincidentally saw them after that I couldn't help but be worried".

"Well that's good and all but I'm not a love expert and we both know that besides I'm pretty sure you're not here to make me sympathize with your story I know you enough to know that, so what's the deal"?

The Girl named Alice smiled and the said

" You're right I am indeed not like that since I saw that you're helping a lot of people these days people you didn't even know too well, I wanted to ask you a favour, to talk to Leah to gain info about her and Jose's relationship, and I also know you know her well enough to ask things like that besides, she knows that I don't even talk to you much less know you that well so she won't ever know I sent you, So that's my plan basically".

Alice then replied to him with a complicated smile

" Thanks Nova I really owe you one".

"yeah, anyways see you later".

After Nova left Alice still stayed there with Sad smile and then left as well.

" Well its been about a week I finally got enough to buy that dungeon with this quest , well let's see how much improvement I've made over the week".

"I deffinetly came very far and so did my body"

In front of the Mirror A handsome looking man who looks like he's in a famous boy band or even a model.

With Black lustrous hair tied as a small pont tail behind his head, Sharp brows and yellow eyes with tinge of blue in the irises, Smooth and sharp jawline which looks even better than before and a sharp nose. His body also seems to be one the verge of having eight packs but they look very defined than looking out of place in his lean build it seems to naturally blend in and doesn't look grotesquely buffed. Overall he seems like a very young handsome boy capable of easily turning girls attention to him. if he stands in a room with a hundred people he would still easily stand out from the rest.

"Okay enough of praising my self, actually because of this I got proposed almost three times in a single day when I casually greeted a girl while removing my facemask and the very day she shamelessly proposed to me giving out who knows how many reasons but at least its all behind now. " Time to focus on what truly matters to me".

"But how do I investigate them, like how do I even do that. " I've never done something like this before, should I just straight up ask her but then we aren't that close plus she might get a bit suspicious and I can't have that or I'll fail the quest.

"Damn I should've picked an easier quest. Ahh' whatever I'll just do it".

After Nova decided his plan of 'action' which was basically just straight up action anyways, He went to Leah's house in the pretense of giving her mom some fruits from their garden.

Which apparently he thought was an ingenious idea and immediately went to execute it but alas! lady luck was not on his side today as soon as he asked Leah's mom about her whereabouts he learned that she just went for a sleepover at one of her friends house and Nova immediately knew it was Suspicious as hell.

" Just when Alice told me about their affair" she just so happened to go over for a sleepover "bullshit, no way I'm believing that" but I'll have to try sometime later than.

After that he said his goodbyes to Leah's mom and left.

After Nova's unsuccessful espionage he went back home dejectedly when suddenly in front of him he saw Jose. Jose was carrying what looked to be plastic bags with some food and what looked like 'condoms'

After Nova saw that he had all the proof he needed thus he took a picture of Jose from a corner and then followed him back to his house and then he took another pic where Leah came out of the house Dungeon

g and grabbing his arm and putting it between her breasts.

Nova thought to himself that he already got enough proof if Alice still doesn't completely acknowledge his affair than she's no better than a lovestruck fool.

The next day Nova stiffly approached Alice he couldn't go near her immediately because she was with her circle of friends full of people he never knew or just wasn't interested.

Plus the girl who 'shamelessly'

Proposed him was one them .

He just waited for them to finish talking about whatever it was that they were all laughing and talking about.

After a while Alice noticed him and he took her to a corner discreetly so no one misunderstands anything which would be the last thing he wants.

"So I uhh' got proof of their 'activities'. Hey before you look at the pics prepare yourself mentally"

Alice gave him a stiff smile and said

"I was always prepared I just needed solid proof to be completely sure".

A few minutes after Alice looked at the pics and finally nodded she then said with somewhat a sad smile

" Thanks Nova.. because of your help I can finally move over that jerk. "To think that I ever loved the likes of him now it just really sickens me".

Nova then said

" No need to thank me and yeah next time find someone better. "Well see you later than I got other business to do".

Alice smiled and said

" Yes. I really owe you now and yeah I think I'll opt out of dating for a while. "Well see you later Nova".

After that episode Nova Checked his quest.

Nova suddenly disappeared from his room and instantly he teleported to vast flat Grasslands.

After Nova Was out his reverie he noticed that this world was very different than he expected. The sky was blue and seemed endless the flat grasslands also seemed to go on forever its borders not being visible at all. The other thing he noticed is that there seems to be anthills in this flat lands. The only problem is though that these anthills are actually much much bigger than normal ones.

"I highly doubt ants live in those giant 'anthills' it feels like goblins or some other humanoid beings might live in there "if anything I might even find some giant ants".

Although Nova should've been scared since he just arrived at an unknown land containing unknown monsters, he was

surprisingly calm. " Okay first I should probably equip my weapons and armor.

When Nova was Fishing for Gold coins while doing quests and other tasks he also bought some weapons and armors he thought he might need.

His armor looks a cross between 16th century knight armors. The armor has yellow and blue colors on both sides on the chest plate, with the helmet having silver color the handguards and pauldrons both having black colors and a rose insignia in the middle of the chest plate

His sword also looks like a middle age short sword. Its a one handed sworded with a beautiful hilt and also has a rose insignia in the middle part of the blade.

" I thought I'd feel bulky in this armor but

its very light, magic truly does wonders.

"Cursed Rose Armor all enemies striked by it will get bleeding debuff. "well at least it should make it easier for me if I come across a monster I can't kill then ill just bleed it to death".

After equipping himself with his armor and weapon. Nova also took out two potions one looks blood red and the other looks bright yellow. These are Health potion and Mana potion respectively.

He then readied himself and went to the nearest anthill. After getting near one of those he heard noises and not human noises these noises were too distinct than humans. To Nova this noises sounded like nothing he ever heard so curious he took a peek behind the anthill where the entrance is.

He found greenish creatures that were no taller than 9 year olds, with pointy green ears and eyes that look completely red no irises at all they also don't have any hair or brows these monsters clothed them self with animal skins just covering their lower parts and some also had animal bones covering their body and head like a armor.

Currently these monsters seem to be roasting what looks like a mix between a deer and a rabbit. After Nova watched their activities for a few minutes he decided it was time for action he needed to kill these monsters for more gold and exp. Thus he hardened him self and slowly stealthily crouched to the nearest monster . When Nova was close enough he strikes his sword through the monsters throat. Surprised the monster couldn't even see its attacker immediately died blood gushing out of its throat . Nova for the first time felt how its like killing something the warm blood in his hands also didn't make him feel to good but surprisingly he didn't feel that bad. After attacking one of the 'goblins' the rest of them immediately picked their weapons and went to attack Nova with savage rage.

Nova was well prepared he parried, slashed, and cut down all of the monsters that tried to attack him the last two that attacked from his blind zone he just used Mana barrier to block it and it felt like they just hit a wall and fell back from unexpected defense and Nova took that chance to use a mana bomb after throwing the mana bomb near the monster's Nova immediately ran to the opposite side and before the monsters could even fathom what happened Noah triggered the mana bomb. It felt like someone fired an artillery shot at that place the shockwave reached Nova even though he was very far.

"Huuu.. Okay let's see how many exp and gold i got".

"hmm.. it seems each goblins individually gave me 20 exp and and 10 gold coins respectively".

"Not bad at all as there are almost an endless amount of anthills like this in this flat land and since the monsters from this dungeon refresh every time leave it seems quite fair I guess".

"Well Let's See what's inside the anthill".
