Chapter 5

It's a cloudy sunday. Uncle clouds dominate the sky since early in the morning, make mister sun very reluctant to shine.

"What a gloomy day.... A very fitting sign for the big incident that will occur today though." Nao said, looking outside the window while sipping his coffee.

Ding~ Dong~

A while after that, the sound of house intercom could be heard and from it, Suguha could be seen waiting outside. Shifting his gaze to the clock, it's 12 : 50 already.

He went to open the door and revealed Suguha stood there with her uniform.

"Yo! Sugu-chan!" He greeted her with a smile warmly.

"Un! Tte,, Nande mada junbi shitteinai?!! Hayaku issoganai to, chikoku suru wa yo!! (why aren't you ready yet?!! Hurry up or we will be late!!" Suguha surprised while seeing him still wear his casual clothes and doesn't ready to go yet.

"Well, ahahaha I'm not going today, Sugu-chan." Nao scratched the back of his head while laughing apologetically.

"Nande? Guai warui no? (Why? Are you not feeling well?)" She said with slight concern in her tone.

"Mmm~ mm~" He shook his head and took the SAO soft.

"This! I said yesterday right, that today was the first day of SAO official service. I want to play it." He said while showing the cover of SAO software.

After he said that, he could see Suguha stunned a bit with complicated face.

When he said he want to skipping the Kendo club to play the game, somehow after a while, she felt as though her heart griped very tightly all of a sudden. She feels scared for reasons she doesn't know.

Maybe because...

Years ago, her only brother gave up on kendo, beaten up by their grandfather then distanced himself from her and the rest of the family while enjoying himself in the virtual world. And now, the youth in front of her was saying that he wanted to skip the kendo club training to play the same thing that her brother played.

She suddenly felt somehow disappointed and sad at the same time.

She knows that it's different from when it was with his brother. But she couldn't help but afraid that he would slowly, bit by bit, distanced himself with her. Until finally their relationship becomes like how it was ended with her brother.

She doesn't want him to go away from her.

They aren't in a kind of relationship that could be described as lover yet, but she always feels really comfortable around him.

He always nice to her and always there every time she need some one.

Unknowingly for her, bit by bit, there's a feeling that made her wanted to always together with him.

Thinking about him always make her want to see him, wanted to be always by his side. She doesn't know what the feeling inside her heart was. Was it . . . . . love? She doesn't know, and before she could assure what feeling was, thinking that he would distance himself like her brother did, make her felt stinging pain in her heart.

Will he leave me too?

Looking at her teary eyes while looking at the ground, Nao knew what she was thinking inside her mind after remember how her and her brother relationship was these years.

Thinking about that made him sighed a bit inside.

Wanted to made her feels better he neared towards her then bent forward slowly. He then placed his lips on her forehead softly after that and kiss her forehead gently.

She snapped out right away of her thought when she felt a gentle kiss on her forehead. She didn't know what to do and just stood there absentmindedly, stunned. Though there was also a strange feelings in her heart when he kissed her like that, warmness and happiness.

The kiss lasted for a while before he separated his lips from her forehead to do what Itachi always did to sasuke after that. He poked the place on her forehead where he kissed her before with his index and middle finger, kept it on her forehead for a while and said,

"What's wrong with that face? It's just for today I skip the club." He smiled warmly at her after that.

"Unm,," She nodded gently while happiness could be seen all over her face.

"That's right, as an apology, I will take you to the Aqua Park you were talking about next time." Whoa! what a death flag that I rise here. He thought after said that.

"Really?" Her face brightened after hearing what he said.

"Promise??" She said again and reached out her pinkie finger at him.

"Promise!!" He said and make pinkie swear with her.

"Ehehehehehe~~~" She look really cheerful after that.

"Ah! That's right." He put his hand inside his pocket, pretending as if looking for something in there while at the same time, cast his Imagination Creation Magic to create a necklace for her.

He took the necklace out of his pocket after a while and put it on her.

"This is?" She asked surprisingly.

"It's a present. Do you like it?"

She nodded while smiling happily.

"Great!! But you will be late if you don't hurry up." He said with a smile while pointing what time is it to her.

"Ah! It's all your fault!!" She said and ready to go.

But just before she leave the place, she neared towards him and kiss his cheek.

"See you later."

She turn around and ran as fast as she could right away, not because of late though, but to hide the embarrassment feeling she felt along with her red-blushing face.

Along the way she felt as though walking on the clouds while smiling brightly because her heart filled with happiness.

As for Nao, he stood there for a while out of surprise and chuckled a bit after that because the unexpected thing she did before went inside.

After he was inside his room, he then create a clone.

"When I was inside, I want you to stand by outside and make a clone every day. That way I could make one of you disappear and got the experience along with the information about what happen outside." He said to the clone.

"Alright! But still, Haaaah~ I want to go inside too." The clone said after sighed.

"Hahaha You can play the ALO when it launched."

"Hmm, You're right. So, what identity I have to use? Handa Sei?"

"No, because the government will also involved after this, so let's use the "secret illegitimate grandson" setting and be a butler or something." Nao said to his clone.

"Hm~ let's see. How about this?" The clone thinking about it for a while then use the Transformation Magic to change his appearance.

What appeared in front of Naoharu after that was a man, with a pair of red-brown eyes and black hair wearing butler attire.

"Hahaha That's good. Then from now on you are my butler, Sebastian Michaelis." Nao laughed after seeing who his clone transform into.

"Yes, milord." The clone, or Sebas said with a salute.

After everything was ready, with the Nervegear already on his head, he lied down on his bed comfortably.

"Hahaha finally, the holy "chant" that all fans of Sword Art Online series in my previous life always dreamed of, I can say it and experience the real thing." He couldn't hold back his excitement any longer and let out a laugh.

He took a deep breath, got ready to say the "chant".

"RINKU SUTA~ATO."

Colorful line was what come to his vision and some window about account and another setting like language etc. Then what next was avatar creation.

"Well it useless. Kayaba will make everyone have their real face after the death game started. Lets just choose random appearance then." He said.

After avatar was created, next was name.

"Hmmmmm~ What name should I use?" He pondered what name should he use.

"How about Yorozuya Gin-san?" He remember the funny character he like so much in his previous life.

"Nah, let's not use complicated name, just use "Nao" then." Finally what he used was "Nao" to make it simple. Then click the start button to enter the game.

What greet him next was a plaza with crowded people. He look around and feel excited.

"This is the plaza of first floor. I'm in the Aincrad right now!!" he exclaim excitedly.

He then walk around the town and looking at all the NPC's stand there. After some time he go outside of the town to check his own system. Arrive outside the town he then take the view in front of him.

"Still, this is quite a sight huh, to think that guy can make all of this with his own brain. I can understand if he has something similar to my Extreme Super Growth skill. As expected from him I guess." He always admire character that has genius mind like, Kayaba, Stark, Banner, Reed Richard etc.

"Then let's see. Can I still access my system." He then try call his system.

And what unexpected happen.

Before he could finish what he said, system in his mind announce a new learned skill.

"As expected from Extreme Super Growth." He said.

"Let's see the telepathy then." He then try connect to the clone.

-Nao: Can you hear me?

-Clone/Sebas: Clearly, so this is really still work, huh. Well that's as expected because the link still connected.

-Nao: Nervegear play ground was in the nerve system after all, it isn't has something to do in the consciousness, more so in the soul.

-Clone: You're right. Then,, what's it?

-Nao: I can feel my real body.

-Clone: What?

-Nao: Look at this...

-Clone: Huh? How can you move and lift your hand? Isn't the nerve system that connected the body to the brain redirected by the nervegear to virtual body?

-Nao: Yeah, but not only nerve system in the body that could be used as connector to the mind. You could use the energy too.

-Clone: Wait, so you mean that you could use the energy the same way how nerve system work?

-Nao: That's right, when I arrive here I can feel this strange feeling. And when I concentrate to that feeling, I know that it was my energy that course through my whole body. When I try to control my energy I can feel my real body again, make me can control both my real body and the virtual body. The virtual body with the nerve, and the real body with the energy. And because I control two body at the same time, and receive information from the both too, I learn Parallel Thought.

-Clone: Parallel Thought huh. Make sense. Then what I can get from this was, our soul as the core, in normal condition, get information from and how it interact with the world was, with nerve all over the body to the brain and ended finally to the soul. And the nerve gear redirected the nerve from our body to virtual body make information that received by the soul was the information from virtual body. But we have full control over energy in our body that connected to the soul too, through magic, make it possible to use it as substitute of the nerve that can't be used??

-Nao: You're right. But more than that, I think it's possible because The world energy in the past fused with our souls energy structure, make the energy interact with not just our soul but the core of our soul it self, make us have full control over the energy that we have in our body.

-Clone: In other words it happen because of the system. The world energy from the past already changed into the system by Gaia after all.

-Nao: Correct.

-Clone: But then again, Is it mean that you need energy point to do that.

-Nao: Of course, we used the energy like we used it to cast magic after all.

-Clone: As expected huh.

-Nao: It can't be helped. Then I will end this here. contact me if something happen.

-Clone: Roger.

And with that the communication ended.

"Magic based skill that create phenomena to surrounding was of course can't be used here. Every thing in here was data based thing after all, so phenomena that not registered in the data server wouldn't happen."

"My Hypnotic magic too can't be used here. Simply said if it's magic that effect beside my self then It can't be used here. But if magic that effect myself like my Divine Sleeping Magic, then it can be used. That's right my Sixth Sense was not magic and was mind based skill too, I want to know how its work here." He said that then close his eyes.

"Hm~ They not have aura, of course, they are data after all so, Its black and white byakugan like version that i can only use, and not very clear too. Even though things here was not real, but most of them programed to follow the rules of physics, so from the information that my senses get, I still can use Sixth Sense. But still, Even if I can hear, touch, feel etc. Information that I get can't compared to the real word so the result was not really clear. With this limited information, I think here is a good place to sharpen my Sixth Sense."

Then he got up and looking around.

"Let's see to what extent my combat capability can be used then."

Then he go to the forested area searching for monsters.
