6 Chapter 6

A single-edged sword slash through a wolf left side. The wolf then disappeared into bluish fragments, revealed announcement window in the air.

The wielder of the sword was Nao. He is in the middle of hunting right now while trying to feel more familiar with his avatar. When the first time he fight using his avatar, he feel lagged so much. Not like his real body, his avatar was a level one avatar with low parameter after all. So the different feeling between the two was world apart.

But because this handicapped state, his skill in the swordsmanship become more refined. As the result of subconsciously trying to make a move with same damage but fewer raw power. So the skill technique forced to the limit, become more refined as the result. This greatly enhanced his skill, and The Extreme Super Growth skill become the great helper in the refined process.

The other thing that still can be used here but handicapped was of course Sixth Sense. Even though it's still can be used, due to low quality of information he get from his senses, its ability reduced greatly. There is no aura here, everything even the body of each player was only a data in the server, so he can't feel other presence through aura. But even tough its only data in the server, everything here programmed to follow the law of physics. How wind brush things, how sound could be heard from things, everything mostly follow the law of physics, so he can still used the Sixth Sense which black and white field of view that similar to byakugan. But that too reduced because low quality of information the senses could get.

The Sixth Sense ability to predict movement was greatly reduced too. With his real body, his ability has already if not better, was the same as katakuri's haki. He can see to the near future not only predict movement. But here for reasons he's not sure, his ability was only to predict movement.

But he believe with all handicap he has now, if he can raise those ability to former state or even raised it even more than before and more refined it, when he use it with his real body, it will frighteningly more powerful than before. So he convinced himself to raise and more refine the ability that can be used here, even though with handicap and low parameter he has, to maximum level. He has Extreme Super Growth after all, so raising and refining his ability process will be a lot easier and greatly faster.

This world sword skill was very useful too. Every move he execute that never knew before, will be instantly learned by the system with Extreme Super Growth help, and then merged with Swordsmanship skill make it his. And make his Swordsmanship skill more versatile. He thinking that is it possible to learn all skills in the SAO to be his, he wondered.

He then decide to rest when found the clearing area. Looking at the time, it's evening already he prepare to teleported to the town. And then he could hear the sound of the bell and the clouds move rapidly.

"It's time." He stand up and after that he wrapped in white light.

When the light disappear, he found himself at the plaza in the town. Looking around, he could see one by one people teleported here.

After that, everything happen the same way as the series. Red announcement window cover the sky, red fluid from it and form a physical body and introduce himself as Kayaba. He then tell all the truth to everyone.

".... Finally, I have present to all of you in the item storage. You can check it."

Everyone including Nao take out the item from the item storage which was a mirror. After that, once again the white light wrapped them. When the light die down, what revealed was not the appearance of their avatar. Nao look for his appearance too. He know that his avatar appearance would be replace with their real life appearance, so he just choose random before.

He look at the mirror that reflect his face right now. Dark hair with obsidian eyes. Fair white skin with handsome face.

"As expected, the nervegear really scan my face perfectly." He commented the result of his avatar face right now.

Though he think that with this kind of face, many people will be skeptical if this one is really his true appearance. If not for the green cursor and hp bar, they would think that he was a NPC. This is just how ridiculously handsome he is and unreal it was. He himself have the same opinion after all. Not that he don't like his handsome face, instead he like it so much actually. But sometime deal with someone jealous guy that his girlfriend or crush interested in him was troublesome. There is no shortage of people that love hospital bed so much.

He then look at the giant red caped Kayaba again and listen what he say until the end.

"..... Then all players, I wish you luck."

Silence, eerie silence embrace the plaza. Nao look around and found same blank face on all of them. Then a girl started to scream and chaos spread through every corner plaza. He ready too leave when he spotted a boy drag a man with red headband.

"Kazu? Or I think it's alright now to call him kirito." He want to follow them, but stop it in the end.

"Well, there is always another time." He said and turn around to leave.

"Let's hunt and gather the resources for now, and prepare for the first dungeon raid".

He go to the shop and buy necessary items like spare sword for the hunt with money from hunting before. He not too concerned with his armor, for now it's enough with his Sixth Sense to predict the monsters movement.

In the next few days he always go to hunt monsters or do a quest and just come back after a few days to repair his equipment. He's not too concerned about sleeping, he can still wake up clearly after days without sleeping with his Mental Resistance. Not to mention he has Refresh Magic that could make his physical condition and mental condition back to the fittest and fresh condition in an instant. As long as he cast the magic to his own body in the real world, he will get the effect. In the end his brain was still in the real world after all and sleepiness was come from the brain in the real world.

He is walking toward the Tolbana, the closest town to the dungeon. He want to begin the dungeon exploration because the resource from hunting around the town would soon depleted. So he want to begin the dungeon exploration as soon as possible.

He want to find a good katana-like sword too. He is using curved-sword skill after all. So he always looking for one but never found what he needed. He want to try his luck in the dungeon.

After arrive in the town he looking around and found that there's no player here yet.

"Well, it's only been ten days after all." He said while go around while checking the NPC shop.

From that day on, he always go to the dungeon to hunt the monsters and explored it. He really happy when fight with them because he can utilize and refined his swordsmanship skill and Sixth Sense to the max level when he use it to them. He can feel the rise of their capability greatly when he use his energy to regain control of his real body and then use the Sixth Sense. He can clearly feel the presence of everyone more clearly in the game too with its low quality information like before.

He rarely used sword skill when fighting. Or maybe more accurate to said that he rarely to intentionally use the swords skill in the fight. Without him intentionally activate it with the motion so the games system could guide the target and accuracy, the skill will activated unintentionally.

In the first place, the sword skill was a skill-assist in the form of a movement, to make players attack hit squarely on the target, and guide them how to correctly utilize their strength based on their parameter to inflict max damage to the target. In other word if they know how to utilize their strength correctly and bring the max potential of their parameter optimally, then even simple swing without skill-assist will be have the same power with the one that execute after prepared a motion to activate the skill-assist.

So it can be said that he used a sword skill without the flashy light. And the game system still count his movement as an attack so he still get the attack bonus from his curved-sword skill. And because of that, he still get the exp too from using/training the curved-sword skill and keep upgraded it and increase it's bonus. And if he can fulfill the condition, he can get an extra skill the "Katana skill" from curved-sword skill.

But because the movement still count by the system and inflict same damage with the one executed by skill-assist, he get a cool down too. or rather than a cool down, it's like a feature that make you feel tired and run out of breath after exerting your strength in one go and can't do it again for a while. But he still can move at least and can use another movement so he don't mind it. And because it's not really like a cool down but fatigue feeling placed by system game on him, make a toll to his body, he can still use it if he try his hard but the toll will be feel more exhausting.

He is often could be seen in the dungeon. He will come back to the town if it's really necessary like repair his equipment for example. He enjoying it so much. Its his first Full-Dive experience after all. He like SAO in his previous life, so experiencing it himself was very fun.

He can go to another world to fight monster, and with system he have, he will experience almost the same thing. But it's Game, not real world. Playing in the game and playing in the real world was different for him. Although he can "playing" in the real world, he still feel that in the real world he was "living", even though that "living" too was really fun like playing in the game. But the different feeling was the one make him enjoy it.

People die. He know that! From the first time he aware what world he was in five years ago he know that. But he doesn't stop it. He doesn't feel want to do it. He know its make him a cruel person, but he doesn't care. It's his second life. In his past life, he never think that he would die with even his soul was almost vanished too. Because of that, he want to life this life to the fullest. He will do what he want to do. And he wouldn't even heed a glance if he don't feel to. The issue was if he want it or not, just that simple.

Though in the process of creating the SAO, he try to hack it many time. But in the end they cut the whole building connection completely make him can't access it at all. He want to plant program in the cardinal core data system that will make the killed player not notified by the system as deceased, so make them gone from the game but not completely and will experience coma state in the real world until game cleared and freed with the other. But every time new data was planted, Kayaba always find a way to erase it make him irritated and hated him for some reason and admire him for another.

He hated him because he always can handle anything that he planted silently and with no one noticed. But after some time he will still found it and make counter measure to fix it. He is the attacker so he is play in his home ground. He know well it can't be helped if he always found out. This home ground of his was created by him for years after all.

But he has his skills with him. To think that a normal person with his own capability, do it to this extent make him think that, is Kayaba still a human? Or is it possible that Kayaba has skill like his Extreme Super Growth skill?

But at the same time he feel more admiration for his intelligence. To think that someone can do it to this extent without the cheat like he has was an amazing thing.

So he give up to hack it and let it go like it should be. He still has many ways, but he don't feel like to do it too after that. So he don't care about it after that and just do what he want to do, and ignore it if he don't want to. This is his life after all, the one he has after experiencing death on top of that, so he will do what he want to do.

Walking through the corridor, he found a big door in front of him.

"So this is the Boss room, huh. Hmm~ enter or not?" He thinking about what to do after found the first boss room in the game.

"Let's check it first then. I wonder how it will feels like to fight with it solo."

He then neared toward the door and open it. Darkness was what greeted him as soon as the door was opened. Take out his sword, he readied it in his hand prepared to attack any time.

Slowly he entered the room, and the dark room before replaced with a big hall with colorful wall on the side. And at that exact time, Illfang and his Sentinels appear.

Calm himself down, close his eyes, take a deep breath, then he open his eyes with determination and smile on his face. He ready for the fight!!

"Let's dance!!"

He said and the Illfang and his Sentinels run to attack him.
