Just Esther's Bullshit.

As everyone was listening to Esther's ramblings, all Hope could do was remember the stories told of her wayward grandmother. Mostly about her attempted familial genocides. However, as Hope was lost in her thoughts Esther asked a question she never saw coming.

"Niklaus, are you aware that she is your daughter?" Shock. Everyone in the room felt it. Klaus, Elijah, and even Hope were staring at Esther dazedly. Hope on the other hand was shocked for an entirely different reason than the other two. 

She wondered how she knew. How did she know Hope was Klaus' daughter? It didn't make sense. The moment she arrived in the past she cast a spell that made her other supernatural sides undetectable. They would only be discovered if she were to actively use them. However, then it dawned on her. Dahlia was able to identify and track her by her unique Mikaelson magic signal. While Esther was nowhere near Dahlia's level, she could at least be able to feel that Hope was from her bloodline.

"Impossible, vampires cannot procreate." Said Klaus, seemingly trying harder to convince himself of the statement he was making than anyone else.

"You're a hybrid Niklaus, this means you can sire children because of your werewolf nature." Said Esther gazing at him gently. 

"How? I've just broken my curse, Hope is eighteen years old. How could I have kin even before becoming the hybrid?"

"It's because I'm from the future." Said Hope, she was no longer afraid of disappearing from existence. The fact that she hasn't faded yet even with all that she's interfered in told her one thing. She traveled back in an alternate timeline, or, her traveling back created the alternate timeline. This means no matter what she does inside of this separate timeline it won't affect the original one.

"No, No... This is all a trick. A scheme concocted to steal my power. I will not be misled by these mind games!" Yelled Klaus standing up in disbelief. 

"No brother, this is no sort of trick. It's a chance, a chance to take back everything that was taken from you. A chance to grasp the one thing you never had a chance at attaining even with all your strength." Said Elijah walking over to his brother and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"What?" Asked Klaus, looking up to meet his brother's gaze.

"Unconditional love." He responded, staring directly into his brother's eyes. Elijah knew, that if Klaus had a child there was a chance for him to regain the brother he once had. A chance for Klaus to finally gain the redemption he had wanted his brother to gain during all these years.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Klaus asked turning to look at Hope.

"I was afraid, afraid of being rejected, afraid that you'd push me away because you thought that I was after some sort of power. Some things happened in my life that I regret and things that hurt, but almost nothing hurt me more than that rejection, I just didn't want to feel it again. I'm sorry." Hope said, tears falling down her face as she remembered the 7 years that her father avoided her. She would be sure to keep her family whole this time.

*SCENE BREAK*

"Will you do it? Or shall I?"

"Well that's interesting isn't it?" Said Hope walking into the room lazily. While she seemed this way, inside she was boiling with rage. She and Esther raised their hands, but Hope was one step quicker.

"Ad somnum" She said as Esther dropped to the ground with a thud.

"Really Elena? You know there's only so many freebies you're gonna get." Said Hope viciously.

"Well, I'm sorry that I just want me and the people I love to not have to live looking over our shoulders in fear every single day!" She yelled, truth be told Elena didn't like violence or killing, but Klaus had stepped over so many lines and it was getting harder and harder to keep her integrity all things considered.

"I understand that Elena but he's my dad, I can't just let you kill him." Sighed Hope, honestly she completely understood where Elena was coming from. Klaus had hurt the Scooby gang beyond the point of return. Klaus had hurt a lot of people beyond the point of return, but he was still her dad, and she'd do anything to keep him alive and happy.

Elena on the other hand was standing in shock. Hope was Klaus' daughter? It made so much sense, why she'd help him and protect him, why she'd defend him, why she was so loyal to him. However, her thoughts were cut short when Elijah walked into the room. 

"Would one of you kindly explain this... situation," Elijah said, gesturing to the entire room. Not to mention the snapped neck of Finn outside the room. Clearly something must've happened.

"Not even a week of being out of their boxes and grandma along with Uncle Finn tried to kill us all," Hope said with a clear attitude in her voice. To be honest, she was tired, she wanted to go to sleep and deal with all of this tomorrow.

Elijah however, simply sighed. He had his suspicions about Esther but he didn't expect her to plot so soon. Simply means they can no longer trust her. 

"Hope, why don't you go and explain this to Niklaus, I'll take care of this." Said, Elijah. This was going to turn out to be one hell of a night...

*SCENE BREAK*

"Hope," Klaus said in acknowledgment upon Hope entering the room.

"What are you doing here alone? Thought you were with Caroline." Said Hope, she tried to deliver the knowledge as gently as possible. Hopefully, Klaus takes it a little easier if she can manage to soften him up a little before. Wait, wouldn't that make it worse?-

"Yes well, we had a tidbit of a disagreement... To which she ended up giving me a piece of her mind. Quite the fiery one she is. Quite the contrast to her normal attitude wouldn't you say." Klaus ended with a chuckle, it seemed that he liked Caroline if he wasn't seething with rage at her giving him 'A piece of her mind'.

"Yeah, she always seemed so innocent, happy, and full of light. I remember those times, some of them were the best moments I had in life." Said Hope smiling fondly remembering some of the happier moments the Mikaelsons had together. 

"Those times weren't still with you before you came?" Asked Klaus, then he realized how stupid the question was. If her life was so great she wouldn't have come to the past in the first place. He saw it when Hope's entire demeanor seemed to darken once she heard that. A clear sign that life wasn't going so well. Also, another thing he thought must have been his fault.

"Well life doesn't really like to give us Mikaelsons a fair hand in life, I learned that pretty early." Klaus could definitely agree with that one it seemed, considering his slight nod in response. 

"Which brings me to the reason I came to see you," Hope said seriously, with her face darkened as she looked at him.

"What is it?" Asked Klaus noticing her seriousness. He didn't see her like this often, so serious with an underlayer of anger. It reminded him of himself whenever his siblings severely pissed him off.

"Esther and Finn tried to kill us all." Said Hope, bracing herself for the inevitable fury Klaus was going to have. However, to her surprise, he didn't show a lot of it in front of her. 

"Where are they?" He said with a low growl. She could already tell things weren't going to end very well for the two of them. To be honest she didn't feel bad for either of them considering to her, they weren't a part of her family. Considering not only were they technical strangers, but they also tried to kill her family. So to be honest, they deserved whatever Klaus was going to do to them.

"Elijah told me to come tell you, he must've done something with them." Answered Hope. No point in delaying it, the two of them have done quite enough. She'd also rather get them out of the way now before the real issues begin. Her suspicions were also answered when she saw Klaus pull a dagger out of his jacket pocket and exit the room. It seemed neither of them were going to survive the night...
