After being flogged to death for a crime she didn’t commit, Calista received a second chance when a system contracted her. It was simple: complete tasks and she could earn a second chance in life. CHAPTER 74: AS IF NOTHING EVER HAPPENED
Later that evening, Calista and Orson left the building site, walking hand in hand as if nothing had happened earlier.
When she returned from venting her anger, which had accumulated over the years, she found everyone blacked out, including Orson.
After administering spiritual energy combined with amnesiac energy, by the time everyone came to be, they had forgotten what had happened.
In fact, it was more of not knowing that something had happened, but they had forgotten it. it was as if time had frozen and only Calista and that family were moving.
So, for the remainder of the day, Calista watched with interest at how the masons were bringing her dreams to life, and at the same time, clung to Orson for no particular reason.
"Have you thought of what you will use the factories for once it's done?" Orson asked curiously as he caressed the soft hand in his hand, walking on the dirt road with his interesting wife on their way home.
