CHAPTER 50: DON’T EVEN THINK OF RUNNING AWAY
"I will leave you to finish. When you are done, come outside. Me and you need to talk!" Calista noticing that if she continues to chat with him, the house might not get cleaned, said to Orson before leaving once again.
Seeing her leaving without causing a fuss, Orson patted his chest. For a moment there, he was scared that she might have caught up to something. Fortunately, that wasn't the case.
With his wife waiting for him, Orson's pace increased and after a while, the whole house was sparkling clean.
When he went outside, to the outside kitchen to be precise, from a distance he overheard Calista talking to Whitey again. After living with her, he knew some of her weird habits and the greatest was how she loved talking to the kitten as if it was human.
