A lord of Mysteries wandering with a Sword

At the end of the Lord of Mysteries' life of many years of watching the world die out, it had finally ended and so he sought a different end to his own powers. He would leave it to chance. For another soul he would see the end of his life ended in a more, horrific fashion, to most. A final destination-esk ending one would even say. as his soul wandered its way a flash of light and he is no longer aware of where his soul is moving shifting colors and bright streaks of light and he finds himself in front of a fiery blaze. A new story for one who was to become the wrought iron hero, and a new beginning for the current one. —————————////—————————— planned worlds include but not in any order; Tamriel: oblivion and skyrim (different visits) JJK Universe all artwork is owned by their respective owners and all characters from their various franchises are owned by their respective companies. Journal entry #5

{4th Era year 9}

The Thu'um. An ancient form of speaking that originated from dragons. The best way to describe how it works is by remembering this phrase, "When a dragon speaks, the world listens."

Through the use of correct pronunciations as well as imbuing the words with the power and emotions of the soul, one could produce a Shout. The shout would then bend reality as if instructed. In my own pursuit I chose to limit the words I would try to comprehend to create my own shout.

This turned out to be for the best when myself and Paarthurnax really got into my training. Due to a multitude of reasons I was already set to begin actually shouting. But to understand a Word of Power is to take it into one's being. Just like Magicka, they change based on ones comprehension.

This can be noted by how two species see a word. "Yol" it means Fire. But the difference in ones perception of that might change. For the Dragons or Dovah, they see it as their birthright. For they are born of Akatosh who holds the dominion of the sun.

For the Nords or any race of kin, They see it as a tool of destruction or life.

Thus the phrase "understand Fire as the Dovah do" is very appropriate when speaking to a Dragonborn. They are the between of the two but still have most of their roots in their dragon heritage. Especially after taking in a dragon's soul.

Most of my training was centered around utilizing one of my greatest advantages over the inhabitants of Mundus. I could utilize spirituality freely. This VERY pure energy comes from the depths of my Soul body. Thus when it is properly imbued into my voice, easy shouts. At least If I comprehend it.

Thus I was made to truly comprehend what the word of power would do for me when I spoke it. The three words to open the way outside of Mundus. There was also a lot of back and forth with the old dragon.

I even decided to tell him when to expect his watch, to come to fruition. He was glad to have a year to note for his brother's return.

That was another thing I was able to notice while on the Throat of the World. The time wound. While it was inconsequential currently It was steadily, ever so slightly, loosening as I spent my time here. A moment in time that was ripped from Mundus was VERY slowly being torn once more.

In the end of our research to create my New Shout, Paarthurnax himself grew to call me a Fahdon or friend. My official title from him was "Fahdon do Vokun" or friend of shadows.

I was also able to complete the blueprint for what would become the "Door" in my spell. This was part in thanks to Paarthurnax himself. Similar to word walls he enchanted stone blocks by imbuing them with the word of power.

Thus I had most of the materials ready to build this Door as my time in the college and High rock allowed me to make connections all around Tamriel, except in the summerset Isles as they were now completely under control of the Thalmor. Their lies having spread and had been accepted among the Mer.

The materials I needed mostly originated in Solstheim. That material being Stahlrim. A bit of the Enchanted Ice went a long way for my purpose. As well as it was the perfect material to help complete Fukanzen, along with one other.

The second material was dragon bones. Which I had a couple of Nightingales gather in the grave above Kynesgrove. There they also grabbed some scales as well. No use in not having the best thieves in the world to gather a few things after all.

With most of the preparations done I finally bid farewell to the Old Dragon. While I also left a shadow mark on the Throat of the world as well.

My next journey led me to The Rift. Exploring the south eastern region of Skyrim. There I eventually followed the path past the city of Riftin to the Shadow Standing stone. The final leg of my journey.

Following the trail I found the entrance to the Ebonmere. When with the help of the current Nightingales I crossed the portal into the Evergloam I found a number of people waiting for me.

Turns out my mother was kind enough to invite a number of people to witness this. From High Rock was Countess Gwendis, accompanying her was a little raven haired girl, Nemi. From Morrowind was grandmaster Neloth, looking like he was this close to freaking out and just researching everything in sight. Being in a plane of Oblivion after all.

Shirou and Granny Viola were there of course. Shirou had to be dragged from his role in being an urban legend in the making. I also handed him a completed list for the advancement potion. The only change was an addition of Ice from the Throat of the world. Which I provided.

These people along with my mother became instrumental in completing the Door. Even little Nemi helped by helping me get used to talking to people again as I had became used to using Dovahzul a little too much during my time with Paarthurnax.

It was also time to finish my sword. Which was accomplished by first, braking it. After a lengthy process of overloading it with Magicka and overheating it, It was cracked in multiple places. This became where we filled it with the new materials.

Bone became the handle for it while some of the original material was taken away. In the end It became a dark gold and black blade with lines of Silvery Ice that filled were etched into the cracks spread like a web. The spine featured a new addition of being made of bone and looked similar to a spine itself.

With Its new appearance it finally got it's true name. Following Shirou's naming sense for it to be Japanese, it would forever be know as "Nazo no Kagi" or Key of Mysteries. To go along with my mother's Skeleton Key.

For good measure, with the help of Arrodes, we made it into my own Artifact. By implanting a Worm of Mysteries inside of it. Though admittedly the worm was incomplete due to not having any support from the Marauder pathway. Still worked to put a portion of our soul into it.

Finally came the assembly of the Door. With Myself for the shaping of the doorway, Master Neloth and Granny for the enchantment work, Shirou for the material forging, and my mother to connect to her realm to power it, The door was almost finished.

But even with as much power a realm could provide there was still a barrier we had to get through. As such I did have to make contact with the Void with my mother present. While it couldn't "talk" we did get the point across of my departure. Surprisingly Sithis, represented by a giant vortex of darkness, didn't see a need to interfere. At least that was the feeling we got.

With everything ready we held one more party. The inhabitants of the Evergloam were all to happy to celebrate what might be one of the greatest feats of magic EVER. I was happy to spend time with the people I had come to love as family, even if that was a love hate relationship with Grandmaster Neloth.

Then times came for goodbyes. Nemi was the most heartbroken to see me go out of them all. The little girl had grown on me as it turns out.

Granny was sad to see me go but it was a necessary process for my growth. Just as my own mother was in similar thoughts. Though I did see one of her crows hopping into my shadow with Azazel, thinking I wasn't looking.

Throgor also came by. His transformation was just about complete into Sheogorath. The madman was all to happy to tell me of ways to enjoy myself. The next time I saw him I would truly have to address him as Sheogorath it seemed.

Shirou was staying behind to complete his own goal. So it would only be me traveling this time. Maybe in the future when I didn't need extra fanfare and support I could manage traveling with a group.

Now came the Magic.

The way we figured out how to actually leave Mundus was two fold. First I needed to make the portal outside of the "Mundus Void". This mostly just required coordinates which we had to calculate for years with also Arrodes help.

Next was actually leaving and Traveling. To do this we decided to make it part of my advancement. With the introduction of both pathways advancement to Marionettes and Secrets Sorcerer the energy released as well as the direct connection to my authorities would allow for me to tap into that power. The portal would act as the conduit for them to overflow and not hurt me in the process of their use.

The first step was activating the enchantment of the door. The door itself looked like an stone archway with Dovahzul runes etched into every block as it was built upwards. Runic circles surround the base plate of the Archway. Then came the inner side of the archway which held the Dedric and Aedric runes to build the groundwork of the portal.

I nodded to my mother as she released the "Sight" to all of the princes and Divines. They could and would be the witnesses to this feat. 17 years old and Probably one of the greatest Mages of all time.

My circuits activated and traced their purple hue across my body. The Magicka that ran through them having taken that hue from my spatial affinity. Then It poured from my being into the Runic circles of the base plate. With them lighting up like a tree on Christmas.

Taking a deep breath as my Magicka drained I pooled my spirituality into my throat and Spoke, "Miiraad Bex Wundun!" My shout moved through the world and slammed into the Archway. The Dovahzul then glowed in orange as the Words of power fueled the construction.

Raising my right arm clad in my shadows I began my chant.

"The Lord of Mysteries wandering the multiverse,

He who rebuilds the Throne above the gray Fog,

The Son of the Night and Shadow who is favored by Luck!

With my name, I declare, to Travel once more!"

My words echoed my very being as both the Evergloam and mundus responded to my prayer. Arrodes appeared with a flair of fireworks and settled on my head. Then I felt the connection to just how vast of a being I could be. My spell had taken root and so I had proven myself once more. My first taste of Divinity as my Magicka sought to elevate itself in my grasp. a Secrets Sorcerer.

Then my awareness caught sight of the Spiritual strings of the world and everyone around me. But sadly I couldn't indulge in the curiosity burning through me as I proceeded forward.

With the expanded awareness I took control of the spell and took hold of my blade. Magicka Flowed once more with my newly enhanced might and I thrust it into the forming portal. With a twist It was finally opened.

Panting I turned to look back. Shirou was holding back Nemi as the rest looked on. My awareness looked up to the Princes looking on. With a smirk at them I looked at those gathered and said, "I'll be back!"

The only one to get my joke was Shirou as the pulling force of the portal dragged me through it. Once more unto the breach as moving through it triggered the final part of the spell. I needed speed to get where I was going, So It became my cannon.

{The universal Void}

A few things were understood as my journey through the void began. Time was irrelevant in this "area". There was also a lot of unaccounted for things that needed some emergency measures. Like for example the corruptive influence of "this" void.

Thankfully with the advancements I was able to apply a mutation to account for this. While it wasn't immunity I gained a resistance to it on the surface level. Thus void travel was official.

Though the journey was pretty lonely at first I did find that this space was actually populated. Granted I was moving so fast that any of the creatures who saw me didn't pay attention to me.

That was until I passed by this one area.

The abrupt stop of someone grabbing me by the collar of my jacket mid flight startled me awake.

When I opened my eyes the only feeling felt was the overwhelming dread that first came over me. Blue draconic eyes stared at me. Attached to those eyes was an extremely handsome guy in a black robe. Dark black long hair that drifted down his back. unconsciously I shrunk at the presence as his curiosity radiated from him, "What are you?"

He may have spoken another language but I could still understand it.

"A traveler?" came from me unconsciously. My very being was partially subjugated from his presence but there was still some rebellious parts of me.

That only made his eyes narrow in concentration. But before he could ask another question another presence made herself known, "Noah, what did you find?"

Her presence unconsciously made me think of the battle against Jyggalag. She radiated a battlefield given form. first thought in my mind was Gods of some sort. She had a yellow robe on that matched well with her silver hair.

"A strange creature, Very weak. I almost don't believe he should exist out here."

With the distraction of his spouse I had regained some freedom to actually look around. The scaled ground looked similar to a creature's back.

Then I actually got a good look at who I was captured by. Then It hit me. I will fully admit to being a nerd! Many a days were spent reading various stories and game lore. One of my favorites happened to be about a certain someone named Noah. In my infinite wisdom and blabbermouth developed over years of teachings from Granny Viola and Master Neloth I said a name that brought their attention back to me.

"Noah Blavan?"

Then I was stared at with the full attention of a being who practically recreated himself. The Cold pride of a dragon.

"You know of me, creature?" Hey! I maybe a creature in some capacity but come on.

"Relax Noah, I'm sure this thing has some reasonable explanation."

The presence finally recalled back enough for me to speak. "So?"

"Well, to explain this simply... Earth kinda heard your story and projected it into another person's mind than that person recreated that story into a book."

My words stunned him enough to raise an eyebrow and ask, "Your from Earth?"

And so I spilled my story as I was dangled by my collar. From my death to being picked as a successor. Appropriating my new body from a failed timeline of another earth. Then a few bits and pieces of Mundus. To be honest From what I felt from him and his spouse They could take all the princes easily. That's just how scary they were. Finally I was released.

Then we got into talking about the structure of the multiverse that they had been traveling around in. They became very open to talking after the discovery of the original homeworld. Though I did find out he Reincarnated whereas I had more or less skipped that part due to Arrodes.

He was initially fascinated with Magicka and Spirituality. Until he found the limitations of them and promptly showed off his Dark matter. Which I will admit to making me slightly jealous.

June, his spouse, was curious of my abilities. When I showed off a little about my shapeshifting she had an Idea. Due to being able to freely changing my size and shape she asked me to become what their child would look like.

I changed my facial structure to look similar to them and changed my hair color to hers. Then proceeded to age myself down to about 5 years old. The maternal instinct in this woman almost crushed me to death as she claimed me the cutest thing in the world and hugged me.

For good measure I had even copied the brooding face on Noah with his eyes. Which made even the stone cold dragon man chuckle. Though I couldn't quite get the dragon aura part down.

All in all It became a very harmonious time. I had even asked for advice to what world I should go to. This was because they had been traveling the void for a long time.

They had noticed a universe with a world similar to earth but there was a certain type of energy that was present on it. It had a negative polarity so they weren't sure if it would help.

I had asked if they could send me that way whenever I left which Noah had a certain gleam in his eyes when I had mentioned that. Which made me slightly worried.

In the end I had given them a copy of my shadow mark as It could act as a way to find me thanks to Noah's copious abilities. The cultivator's eye gleam was still worrying when it was time to leave them.

"So you need speed to get there, correct?" He asked as he walked up to me. I was still in the child form at that point.

"Yup." Was my answer, slowly growing in worry.

"Then there is no issue, Pucker up." And in no time I was lifted once more by my collar and poised to be thrown. With barely any time to widen my eyes, he threw. My voice Echoing screams as I was tossed into the void once more.

"You just wanted him gone to have me didn't you." A growl was her answer.
