Departure

As me and Blake got our things to set off on our journey, Ilia came to our room to check on us if we have our supplies.

We made some final preparations in case we needed to make some stops along the way, or if we ever got separated. We finished with our preparations and made our way to the front door's.

Waiting for us was our parents and Sienna, Blake hid behind me but still sent a glare full of hate towards Sienna since she injured me from yesterday.

Sienna looked away in guilt accepting the glare from my sister, I smacked Blake with one of my tails, which caused her to sneeze, signaling her to stop. She huffed and looked away from her and held my hand.

Both mom and dad approached us and gave us one final hug before we left. Mom had tears in her eyes seeing us go and protest for our equal rights, dad on the other hand smiled seeing that we were about to start our journey away from home.

"Before you two leave I want you two to have these." Dad then pulled out two scrolls and gave one to each of us.

We were both shocked at the fact that he got us scrolls, since not everyone has one, I wanted to protest and tell them that it was too much, but dad just raised his hand.

"Stop right there Aiko I know what you are going to say but you will not refuse, both your mother and I want you to have these so that you can call us if you wish to return." He said, he then took me to the side, and looked at me with fear.

"Also, because your mother will call you at the end of the day to see how you are doing. So please, answer her soon, I don't wish to sleep outside." I smiled wryly at the fact that mom wants to hear of our adventure outside the town, so I agreed to tell her when we were about to sleep.

We both then gave one final hug and started to make our way to the docks, mom was sobbing as we left so we decided to walk a bit faster.

During our travel to the docks, the four of us saw many of the townspeople gathering at the docks as if waiting for someone.

One person in the crowd soon turned towards us, and smiled. He began to tell the rest of the people that we arrived.

"Look they arrived clear a path, clear a path." Everyone then looked at us and all of them smiled.

They started to cheer at our courage on leaving the island and joining the Faunus on the mainland to fight for our rights, as we made our way to the boat they gave us gifts for our travels.

Some of the gifts were clothes for me and Blake, the clothes they gave us were some yukatas for me and Blake. Blake's yukata was white while mine was black, when we accepted the gifts one of the elders told us to check the pockets.

The rest of the gifts were either some lien, snacks, or wooden weapons for us to continue with our training.

"Good luck you two!"

"Let the humans know that we are people too."

"Blake, don't leave we love you."

"Aiko, we love you!"

"Young master Aiko young mistress Blake may the animal god protect you!"

Both me and Blake smiled to see that the townspeople were seeing us off, but we then moved faster when some people confessed, I even saw two signs, both of them said 'marry me Aiko/Blake.

The two of us smiled seeing how they cheered for us, and the hesitation that was in Blake's eyes, disappeared.

Some of them began to bow, wishing us good luck to join the other Faunus in Atlas, but I soon told all of them to stand up.

"Alright enough with the bowing, both me and my sister came here for a reason, so let's fulfill that reason." The crew then raised their heads and all of them showed a sight full of respect, seeing that me and Blake want to arrive with the rest of our kind sooner than later.

The ship then started to sail away and before we were to far me and Blake decided to say something to the crowd.

"THANK YOU ALL FOR SEEING US OFF, WE PROMISE TO RETURN WITH RESULTS AND HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF THE WHITE FANG!" We received more cheers from the town and soon we became too far from them.

As we saw the island get smaller and smaller, we all decided to find our rooms to sleep for the night.

Obviously, Blake wanted to sleep with me, so Ilia and Sienna had a room for themselves. I noticed that Ilia looked disappointed when she had Sienna as a roommate, but that look disappeared when we asked if we could start training.

Sienna agreed and we made our way to the deck of the boat, the captain agreed to our request for making space to let us train. The crew were excited to see how me, and Blake would do against Sienna since she was the best fighter in the entire island.

"Alright you two come at me with everything you got, don't hold back." As she entered her stance to fight, I noticed that something was telling me that I wouldn't win no matter how hard we both tried.

I tried to focus on the task at hand, but the feeling only increased.

"Alright if that's what you want." I then sprinted towards her with the staff in my hand and did an overhead swing preparing to strike her, Sienna just stepped to the side and kicked me towards Blake.

Her eyes widen, and she didn't have enough time to dodge causing the both of us to slam on the railing of the boat.

"Weak, you have too many openings." Ilia then ran towards us and helped me up Blake then grabbed on to me and pulled herself up, not without sending a glare towards Sienna. Though this time she didn't look guilty when she sent the both of us flying.

"Sienna, I have a question?" Sienna then looked at me and her eyes soften when her eyes landed on me.

"Yeah, what's your question little fox." I winced when she called me that and I knew she got that from mom.

"When we were training, I had this feeling that told me to run, it also increased when I tried to calm myself." Sienna's eyes widen a little and she had a small smile, I soon had that feeling again, but this time it told me to run away and never look back.

My face became pale, and I landed on my knees, my ears folded down and my tails laid flat I knew that if I tried to run it would be hopeless.

"*Hic* B-brother *Hic* I-I'm scared. *Hic*" I turned towards Blake and saw her with tears in her eyes, she had her hand on mine and didn't move.

The feeling disappeared and I felt a huge weight leave me, Blake on the other hand she was quietly sobbing into me and didn't face Sienna at all. I turned towards Sienna with rage in my eyes, but she didn't care and shrugged it off.

"That feeling that told you to run, was your animal instinct. It will help you survive now clean yourselves and get some rest, we train tomorrow." She walks off and doesn't look back. Ilia helped me and Blake up and took us to our room.

"I'm sorry that you two had to face that, but it's how she does it in order to train other Faunus." She has a guilty face and doesn't look at me during our walk to our room.

I rase my hand and gently patted her head, she wasn't expecting that causing her skin to turn red and her hair pink.

We finally arrived at our room and Ilia already left, I then helped Blake into the bed, but she was still frightened that she didn't let my hand go.

"Brother don't leave, please." She looked at me and her eyes were puffy with tears in her eyes. It hurt my heart to see her like this, so I decided to sleep with her until she fell asleep.

She made some space in the bed and I made my way under the covers, she then wrapped her arms around me placing her face in my chest and loudly sniffing me.

After a few minutes she fell asleep in my arms, I then smiled and wrapped my tails around us to give us extra warmth. As soon I fell asleep, I didn't see a figure standing behind me looking at me with obsession.

"Ahhhh he looks so cute when he's sleep." The said figure lightly stroked my tail and giggled the entire night.
