A burial pit

A multitude of shots were fired at the vile woman. Artemis was swift with her actions, and she didn't show any signs of holding back. She knew what kind of opponent she was dealing with, and therefore also knew that one bullet is certainly not enough. Perhaps the entire moon clip wouldn't be enough to completely kill the vile woman, Artemis figured.

Alas, Artemis couldn't do anything more than shoot her moon clip empty, simply because she didn't have any more pieces of metal left to bury inside the woman's body. Of course, a lack of bullets didn't stop her in being too overly cautious.

The woman could be a supernatural that goes by the folklore name, Dracula. This means that killing her is something far from a simple task for Artemis. Artemis had to make sure to make the completely immobile. Because, by doing that, the woman wouldn't cause troubles, due to her basically being in a similar situation as being dead.

'If she can't die, I'll make sure she wishes she could die.' Was a thought of Artemis, before she went on to find better ways to make the woman completely immobile.

Soon, Artemis was able to come up with the perfect solution to solve her paranoia…

Opening her traveling bag, Artemis removed both a tiny shovel and machete out of such a bag of hers. With the machete in her hand, and the shovel left behind on the ground, she went on to cut some tough branches from the trees around her. When Artemis was satisfied with the amount of branches that she had collected, the machete switched places with the shovel, because she needed the shovel to proceed with her plan of digging a hole that is deep enough to be used as a burial pit for the vile woman.

It may be because of the bullets, or because of the grave effects of Artemis's mental resistance, which caused the vile woman to remain stunned. The vile woman couldn't do anything against Artemis's wishes, even after many hours had passed. As a result, a burial pit that is deep enough to fit the entire body of the woman, was finished by Artemis without any disturbances.

Of course, the woman's lack of movement might also be because of Artemis's great sense of cautiousness. Because, the woman wasn't only forced to lie down on the ground with a lot of bullets inside her body, but also with sharp pieces of wood stabbed through her neck, palms, and thighs.

Artemis was that cruel with her act of cautiousness, which she rightfully had no choice but to do, because it was a situation of "Who suffers?". It is only because of her great mental resistance, that she was able to turn the tables against the vile woman. If not for that, Artemis is certain that she would have been the one to be in the suffering end. That's why, she didn't even hesitate in her acts of cruel cautiousness, and did what her past self would often times do to her enemies.

Like the vile woman had mentioned that she had awakened from her slumber, in the same way, Artemis had awakened her slumbering character. Her character, which holds the dark side of her memories that she had been trying to erase, but couldn't in the end, all because of the purpose of the greater good…

"Go back to sleep. You don't belong in this era, nor this world. In fact, you are supposed to be long dead… This is the modern times. Can't all of you freaks just give up on your old dreams already?" Artemis spoke, and even questioned the general.

However, although she questioned about the general, she did not expect a reply from the vile woman that still seems to have the trouble of moving a part of her body. Instead, she hoped for the woman to not be capable of saying a word ever again in the future.

The look of the woman's eyes that displayed the fact that she wasn't present, and possibly very unconscious too, gave Artemis a sense of satisfaction. Such a look of the woman told Artemis that the woman wasn't too far off from the state of being dead, after all, which is exactly why Artemis hoped for the woman to remain as such. As for the reason why Artemis hoped for the woman to be in a dead state, that's because many troubles within the possible short future may be prevented with the woman's lack of presence…

After Artemis had spoken her share of words, she pushed the body of the vile woman into the burial pit that she had finished digging a few minutes before her short share of words. One small problem soon occurred however, which is the problem of the woman's body being quite heavy for Artemis to push all the way towards the burial pit. Artemis had to roll the woman's body as a result, and in order to do that, she had to remove the five branches that she had stabbed into the woman's body.

In the act of doing that, she saw something supernatural, which she had sort of already expected. The bullets that were hiding inside the woman's body were visibly seen making their way out by Artemis. This departure of the bullets certainly meant something supernatural. The woman was either removing the bullets out of her body with some kind of telekinetic ability, or her body was simply healing so rapidly and effectively that the bullets were coming out of her body on their own…

Nonetheless, it was all feats of the supernatural, and Artemis knew that she had to act fast if she didn't want to get fumbled by the vile woman again.
