Hey you...

Artemis's swift approach was worthwhile. Before all of the bullets could even come out of vile woman's body, Artemis was able to roll the body towards the burial pit, and was able to penetrate the body with the sharp ends of her tree branches again, right after the body had fallen into the pit.

It was a job well done by Artemis. A job that she was proud of, but that she wasn't done with yet, since she still had to cover the pit with the pile of soil that stood beside it. The pit wasn't the only thing that had to be covered however, because the stains of blood had to be hidden as well, so no animal or human could dig out the corpse of the vile woman.

If someone or something were to dig out the dirt that keeps the woman in slumber, and especially if they were to remove the obstacles that prevents the woman from getting back in shape, the woman would be free to continue her plan of creating a bloodbath that consists of slaves and victims. Artemis did not want that at all. In fact, it has been her main priority to prevent something like that from happening, ever since she had shot the first bullet through the woman's skull.

Artemis has the general skills for clean ups. She was capable of covering the blood stains that she had created earlier, and after enough time had passed, the place looked completely ordinary.

There were no signs of a fight that had occurred. The bullets were buried along with the woman, and the trees that had been shot earlier, were all cut down and burned down. Her work was basically a masterpiece, and surely, no one would find the corpse of the vile woman, unless they dig three meters down exactly where the body of the woman lies. Indeed… Artemis had made so much effort to dig a three meters hole, and to remove all of the traces that would lead someone to the body of the vile woman. Such an effort that she had brought forth became more obvious to her, after she saw that it wasn't going to be long anymore before sun sets.

"It's almost night time already. I should go back and see how Mark is doing. Hopefully, people understand the warnings that I told him to give them. The should… This town is one with traditional believes, after all…" Artemis muttered, and when she was done, she quickly packed her items before rushing back towards the town. The problem had been dealt with, and perhaps, the people don't have to evacuate.

'I'll have to tell them to cancel their panicked plans, I guess.' She figured.

Meanwhile…

While Artemis had everything set up so perfectly, she didn't account one underlying factor. A factor, which consists of an obstacle that might ruin her idea and plans. The kind of obstacle that she couldn't see, because if she was able to see such an obstacle, she would have already tried removing it in some way. Unfortunately, her eyes and any other senses of hers, did not allow her to be aware of the non physical beings. This means that she couldn't do anything about such an obstacle, and that only fate could decide.

This obstacle is of course none other than Alissa. Alissa, the wandering ghost that the common human eye can not easily distinguish…

The entire time… Before the vile woman even came, and after the vile woman was buried. Alissa was there, and had seen it all happen before her. The question however, is what she will do after everything that she had seen…

Is she going to spoil Artemis's hard work, or is she simply going to leave the place, just like that?

Of course, the answer that Alissa will give with her actions, is certainly not a simple one. Alissa needed to know the reasonings, the opportunistic values, and the chances of coming out regretful. These three factors, is what can make her decide whether she should leave or spoil Artemis's hard work.

'But… If I remove that soil in order to talk to her, she'll be free already, and I won't be able to offer a demand in return for freeing her. Like, how do I even look for opportunities when I have to lighten the binds that are restricting her? It's impossible, because she'll be capable of freeing herself once I remove that soil…'

*Sigh…* 'I guess there really is no way for me to get him back, huh…?'

"Hey, you. Set me free, and I'll grant any of your wishes. A permanent vessel. Reincarnation. Power. Name anything, I'll bestow it to you, as long as you free me from this gullible captive."

All of a sudden, just when Alissa was about to leave, she heard the voice of a woman talking to her. Based on the woman's words, and the way she sounded, Alissa was able to guess that it was the supernatural woman that is buried within the soil.

Listening to the voice, Alissa couldn't understand where it was coming from, and how it was possible for her to hear it differently from when she hears people normally speaking.

'The supernatural woman is not using her voice, but-'

"Are we talking via telepathy?!" Alissa figured, a few seconds after pondering about the incoming source of the voice.
