The clock is ticking part 1

"She is leaving the house and is on her way to work. I heard she has once been kidnapped and Mason was able to find her, be careful and make sure the CCTV camera on the street doesn't catch." Lindsay instructed her partner over the phone. She chewed on the red apple she was holding in her hand.

Amaya decided to take a short cut and she wasn't with her driver today. Her driver is to bring Vanessa and Piper to the shop at around eleven o'clock. She whistled nodding her head from left to right.

A man was laying on the road, he looked dead. Amaya looked around but the road she took is deserted, the was nobody in sight. She rushed to the man not knowing what to do, she checked his heartbeat and it was beating fine.

She turned to her car to go get the door when she was hit on the head with something hard sending her unconscious. The person who hit her was known other than the man who was laying unconscious on the floor a few seconds ago.

He took his car leaving hers on the street, he carried her to an abandoned warehouse somewhere far from the city. She was tied to a chair and her mouth was bounded with a table, the room was so dark that you couldn't see yourself.

A bucket of ice-cold water was poured on her, and Amaya woke with a shake. She looked around but couldn't see anything or anyone, she shivered when the cold wind brushed past her skin.

"Hello, is anyone there? Please get me out of here." She shouted trying to free herself from the robes but she ended up bruising herself.

"Please help me get out I beg you." the light was suddenly turned on brightening the room, Amaya gasped.

"What do you mean your madam isn't here?" Vanessa asked sounding worried, she got here five minutes ago the staff is telling her that Amaya hasn't arrived.

"She left home hours ago," Vanessa said. She tried calling Amaya's number but it wasn't reachable. She gave the baby to the driver.

"Did she tell you guys that she would be late? Maybe she has to meet up with a client to discuss business and is still there." Vanessa thought out loud to the hearing of everybody.

"I am her Secretary and she doesn't have any appointment whatsoever. I am getting really worried, let's call her husband." Amaya's secretary suggested.

Baby Piper began crying like she could feel the tension in the air and could feel the coldness of the environment without her mommy.

Fifi Mason's secretary is an invert, dressed in black female skinny jeans and a red off-shoulder V-neck top. He was chewing gum, popping it like a pro, his six inches red stilettos make a clicking sound on the floor whenever he walks.

"Ok boss Mason you've got some documents to sign and uhh the tech team wants to hold a meeting with you it seems important." He said with a female-like voice.

His pretty pink long fingernails tap on the table as he talks to Mason. "Oh, and boss the necklace you asked me to pick for ma'am Amaya and cute baby Piper is here" he took out two boxes from his red Hermes handbag and gave it to Mason.

"Thanks, cute bag by the way" Mason complimented.

"Oh my gosh did I hear it correctly? You just complimented me, like this is awesome. It was a gift from the boss lady herself, your wife is just too kind" Mason smiled.

His phone rang and it was Vanessa who was calling. "Hello Vanessa, what is it?" He asked putting the phone on speaker mode and placing it on his desk, he took a folder and began flipping the pages reading the contents.

"Boss" came her shaky voice then a sniff

"What is the problem? Is Piper okay? And my wife?" He asked. Fifi looked at the phone waiting for Vanessa to open the can and spill the beans.

"Boss ma'am left the house immediately after you did, she didn't take her driver with her because he was to bring me and little Miss to the shop, but when we got there ma'am wasn't at the shop." She explained with loud sobs.

"Did you try calling her? I am sure she just stepped out of the shop." He said massaging his temples.

"Ma'am we've tried calling her but she is unreachable, her staff members said she didn't show up and her secretary said she has no meeting to attend. Boss, I am worried, what if something happened to Mrs. Campbell?" She began crying over the phone.

Mason disconnected the call and tried calling Amaya but her cell phone was unreachable, he check the tracker device. Luckily he had installed a tracking device on her phone without her knowing. It is wrong but it was for her good not after what happened to her mother.

It showed that she is not moving, just on a single spot. He got up and rushed out of his office leaving a crying Fifi behind...

Sorry for the delay, the school has begun and my schedule is tight.
