Sweet moment

Part 1 - Breakfast 

I was still asleep, but Emi was already up. 

She looks so sweet when she sleeps 

She grabbed her bra and put it on me like a hat, then took a picture, trying not to make any noise while I was sleeping. 

-I can't wait to see his reaction when he wakes up.... 

Akari had managed to blow the bra off my head. 

-I'm sorry I forgot about you for a moment... 

Hikaru's sister is a danger... 

-Well take care of him for me while I go make food... Can you eat... I don't know why I'm asking if you can't answer me, we'll have to do something with that, just in case I'll prepare more. 

-I still feel that I don't deserve them, but if I leave I could hurt him more.... What should I do, I was sure of what I wanted to do, but Emi's words make me hesitate... I guess I'll have to start getting stronger, until I can think of something else, I could try to make an effort to write, so at least I can communicate with Emi. 

-Good morning Akari, you're looking better, that's good. 

I was afraid when I woke up that you wouldn't be here. 

-You woke up... Good morning Hikaru, how are you, are you in a lot of pain? 

-I sat up in bed slowly. 

-It hurts a little, but much better than it was before... I should have listened to you from the beginning, I was stubborn, I didn't want to worry anyone, and my stupidity caused the opposite, I didn't even hurt you, Akari, yesterday you were going to ask me to finish, but fortunately Emi interrupted us, I want you to know something, I want to continue with you, no matter what we face, but, even if you finish me I will continue to help you. 

Akari was holding back from crying.

I held out my hand to Akari.

-Fool, idiot, imbecile, how do you think I can leave you after you say those words to me..... 

-I didn't know you could say such beautiful things Hikaru, my little brother has grown up so well, he became all manly,' Emi said while crying her eyes out. 

Emi had entered his room with a tray full of food. 

I was hugely embarrassed, when I started dating Akari, I didn't mind saying cheesy things to her, because I wanted to say them to her, but hearing someone else say them made my face red, especially if Emi was the one listening. 

-Forget what I said Emi, you didn't hear anything... damn it. 

Akari finally laughed out loud. 

Emi sat on the bed with the tray in front of me. 

-I prepared breakfast for them... although I don't know if Akari can eat. 

-Emi what were you thinking...what, Akari thanks you for the gesture, but she can't eat, she also says you cook very well? Akari don't make me say that.... She says she always enjoyed your food, when we ate together, your meals made us closer, she says... I think so too, by the way. 

-Are they the diabetes delivery couple or what, if they tell me like that, they'll force me to cook for them more... we'll have to do something to make you girl try my food again, Hikaru. 

-I agree with that.... Emi thank you, just thank you for everything. 

Emi is blushing, but she was acting like it was nothing. 

-Less thanks and more remedies, take them, and eat, we'll have to eat a lot. 

-The day flew by, but tomorrow I had to go to class, or at least I thought so, the next day I couldn't even walk without feeling a horrible pain in my ribs, so this time I listened to Akari and Emi's words, besides I had permission to miss the whole week, but I felt bad for Akari, every day that passes is another day that she's still trapped in that way. 

Hikaru, I'm going to work, if something urgent happens don't hesitate to call me, Akari take care of him for me, if he tries something stupid throw something over his head. 

-I won't do anything, I promise. 

Emi crawled closer to me on the bed and kissed me on my forehead. 

-I hope so Hikaru, pay more attention to your girlfriend. 

-You say it like I never listen to anyone. 

-It's because you don't, I get the impression that you give more problems to Akari than to me, take care I'm going, if you want to watch TV all day. 

Part 2 - Fashion 

3 more days passed without me being able to walk, if it wasn't for Akari I would be really bored, but at least these days have been useful to be able to iron out the rough spots that we suffered with Akari, in fact, since she doesn't sleep she told me that she waits for me to fall asleep so she can practice to hold objects without dropping them from her hands, she says that she hasn't made much progress, but she will keep on trying. 

Also these days I had to apologize to Asuna, apparently Emi forgot to tell me that Asuna was worried about me, when I checked my mobile I had 248 unread messages from her on Linapp, basically almost all the messages were asking about me and why I was ignoring her, so it took me quite a long time to explain everything to her. 

-Hikaru, do I want to keep our promise? 

-Our promise? 

-Did you forget already, about talking about our likes and dislikes, I've thought about talking about it almost every day? 

-No, of course I haven't forgotten. 

Actually with what happened, of course I'd forgotten about it, but it's better that Akari doesn't know. 

-So, I like the clothing style... I don't really know what style it is, but it's the same style that Asuna likes, I find it too cool how she dresses, it's as if you could take the clothes out of a video game that mixes urban with science fiction... I don't know if you understand what I'm talking about. 

-Maybe not completely, but I think I do understand, although I'm a little jealous that your taste in certain clothes comes from Asuna, 

-Don't worry about that, I'm not going to lie to you, I love her a lot, she was my first friend, she was always with boys and I wasn't very talkative before, one day she approached me talking about ghosts, we hit it off, but be clear about something, I only have eyes for you. 

-I know, but I'll take my jealous girlfriend right this time. 

-Okay, but don't go too far with that. 

We both laughed, sometimes we were silent appreciating each other, sometimes we wanted to go further, but for obvious reasons we could not. 

-Akari, what do you like, apart from kittens and dogs? 

-Mmm, I like anime a bit, especially mystery and romantic dramas, apart from that.... Well, is there that too?

-I'm a bit embarrassed, but I wanted to be a model, in fact, I used to buy fashion magazines, or rather I could, I really liked Sky Pasarel magazine, there is a model I admire a lot who works for them, although I stopped buying it more than a year ago. 

-I have a couple of questions Akari, why I wanted to be, and I don't want to be, and why did you stop buying the magazine if you liked it so much? 

Akari felt insecure with my question, apparently I had touched something sensitive. 

-It would be easy for me to tell you that it's because I'm a ghost, but I actually gave up that idea after my bet. 

-That bitch Akimoto only hurts the people around them, look at what she did to you just because she felt overshadowed by you, I really hate that jerk. 

-There's the Hikaru I started to fall in love with. 

He smiles sweetly at that orange-haired woman who had me in awe. 

-Akari, forget that damn bet, when we find the solution to our problem, don't keep respecting that damn bet, I want you to promise me? 

-I don't know if it's convenient to face Akimoto, believe me she can do terrible things. 

-Akari, I don't think she can do anything more terrible to you than what she did to you... whoever killed you, and let's add that I don't think she's stronger than the supposed vampire we're facing, so, if she wants to get close to you she'll have to go through me, so promise that you'll come back and do you, I didn't mean it that way, but that you'll dress as you wish and forget about the bet. 

-I hadn't thought of it that way, but can I really be my old self? 

-Of course. 

Akari's glasses disappeared in an instant. 

-Akari, your glasses are gone. 

-It's true, I don't see the frames anymore. 

-I've always liked you with those ugly glasses, but you're certainly more beautiful without them. 

I don't know why Akari's glasses disappeared, but if she allows herself to recover from what Akimoto did to her, I don't care how she changes on the outside. 

Give me a moment Akari, I want to order Emi a cake for when she comes back. 

-Don't abuse your situation either. 

I laughed nervously. 

Hikaru: Emi can you buy this month's Sky Pasarel magazine? 

Emi: Don't tell me you intend to trade me for that one, unfaithful brother. 

Hikaru: It's not that silly, Akari likes that magazine, I wanted to see if you can do me the favour. 

Emi: of all the fashion magazines your girlfriend could have liked, she had to like that one, I don't want to, she refused me. 

Hikaru: she wants to be a model and the model she admires works for that magazine, I beg you, do me this favour and I will do what you ask. 

Emi: ok I'll buy it, I just hope the model she admires is not that woman... don't regret what you promise, I'll collect it. 

Hikaru: yeah, I know 😛 

-Akari: Let's watch some anime you like together. 

-Yes, I'd love to.
