A place to stay

Jin's POV

I packed my things and left from there. I couldn't stay there another minute, after what my mother did.

I called the boys and asked if they had any space in their house for me. They all said no. When I asked Jungkook, he said,

"Hyung, you can stay at Y/n's. She has a lot of space."

"I don't want to disturb her. I better stay at a hotel." I said and declined the call.

I drove to a hotel. It was quite far away and took me at least more than an hour. I got in.

"Hey. Can I book a room for myself?" I asked.

"Sure sir. Name?" He asked.

Before I could say, my phone rang.

"Excuse me."

"Take your time sir." He said and attended the call.

"Jin?" I heard them say.

"Yeah, I am Jin. May I know who is this?"

"I am Y/n's sister, Hye. I want to talk to you."

"Sure." I said.

"Jungkook said that you were looking for a place to stay. You could come and stay with us. We have place for you."

"Noona, it's ok. I don't want to be a burden to you. And I'm not sure if Y/n will like me being there."

"She will be ok with that. Just come stay with us. Y/n would be happy in fact. Please."

"Noona, please don't beg me. I'll come and stay with you guys."

"Ok. We'll be waiting for you." And the call ended.

"Sorry to say, but I would like to cancel the booking." I said and left from there and drove over to Y/n's.

Hye's POV

Y/n was still sleeping. Suddenly her phone rang.

I took it and saw it was Jungkook. He told me about Jin.

I didn't know why he was looking for a place to live while he was in one. I thought it would be better if he'd stay here. So he could get to know Y/n better.

I asked him to come here. I sat beside Y/n and gently tapped on her. She woke up and sat straight.

"Go refresh yourself. We are having a guest coming over and staying with us." I said.

"Who is willing to stay with us?" She asked.

"You'll see." I said and pushed her to the restroom.

Until that, I made some space for Jin in the room that Sung-ho is in.

Y/n's POV

*at 6pm

I was anxiously waiting to know who that guest is. Unnie never told anything about him/her.

"Unnie please tell me who it is." I asked.

"You'll see. Wait for some more time." She said. After a few minutes, the door opened.

"He's here!" She said. I looked towards the door and was shocked to see Seok Jin.

"Seok Jin? He's our guest?" I asked, looking at unnie.

"Yeah. While you were sleeping, Jungkook called and said that he needed space to stay and I offered him help."

"But why are you searching for a place to stay?" I asked looking at him.

"Y/n, this is not the time to ask. He is here still with his things. Let him settle down and refresh himself."

"Jin, you are here! Let me help you with the luggage." Sung-ho oppa said and took his things and headed upstairs.

I stood there trying to process what is happening right now.

As Jin left, unnie called me and we stood behind the counter and did our work.

"Y/n, Jin told me everything that happened at his house." I stood frozen. I didn't reply anything.

"Are you mad at him?" She asked.

"Huh? Mad? Wae? What is there to be ad at him? It is a common thing." I said.

"Y/n, you are stronger than you think. You have heard many people say this to you. Why did you break down when it was from Jin's mother?" She asked.

"I.... I..... Even though we have met before few months or days, I have gotten more close to him. And it hurt me a bit." There was nothing more to hide to unnie, so I said everything.

"I hope you guys can sort out your problem while he's here."

"Unnie, I don't have any problem with him. We are good." I said and walked upstairs.

I saw Jin and walked towards him.

"I need to talk to you." I said.

"I'll go help Hye." Oppa said and left down.

"Why are you looking for a place to stay? You do live in one right?"

"I was living in one."

"Don't tell me that you came out of your house... because of the issue." I said.

"I... did." He said.

"Why would you?"

"I couldn't stay there after how my mother treated you."

"But family is important than any other thing. I might not stay for long." I said, as a tear dropped.

"No Y/n, no. You don't get it. She is a money minded person. You are more important to me than her. I don't want to lose a friend like you." He said.

"Jin..." I hardly whispered his name.

"And I don't want to see my friend crying because of me." He said and wiped my tears. I hugged him tight.

I broke the hug and wiped my excess tears.

"Y/n.... I actually need a favour." He asked. I listened patiently.

"I actually need a job." I was shocked as he said that.

"You need a job? Seok Jin, you left everything and came?"

"Had no other option." He said.

"I don't know what to do to you." I said and he giggled.

"Well, there is always a work for someone who comes here. I'll ask unnie and let you know what you can do. But for today, you can settle yourself down. I'll go do my job. If you need anything, feel free to ask any of us." I said and headed down.

I stood by the counter, my usual place and continued my job.

*at 10.00

It was time to close the shop.

We all sat down and had our dinner and had fun. It was quite a good day.

"Y/n, tomorrow gotta wake up early, you remember right?" Unnie asked. I nodded my head.

"Unnie, I'll go for a walk and will be back soon." I said. She agreed and I took my jacket and left.

Jin's POV

As soon as Y/n left, I helped noona to put the dishes in the sink. I said I'll help her but she refused.

"I'll go have a look for Y/n." I said and headed out and searched where Y/n was.

I walked and jogged some distance and finally found her sitting by a bench and hanging her head down.

I walked towards her and stood beside her.

Y/n's POV

I sat by the bench and looked at the sky and let out a heavy breath.

I took the locket out and opened it and saw the photo in it. Tears found its way as I kept looking at the picture of my long mother.

"Y/n." I heard a voice. I lifted my head up and saw Seok Jin.

"Are you ok?" He asked worried as he saw me crying. I nodded my head and told myself that I am ok.

"Don't cry." He said and embraced me and comforted me. I held onto him and cried my heart out. I wanted this to be the last time.

But every time I think like that, it never happens. It never is my last time.

"Everything will be alright." He said and cheered me up.

"Let's go home. Noona said that you'll have to wake up early tomorrow." He said. I nodded and we walked back home.
