The Hopes of All.

*THIRD PERSON P.O.V.*

Annie heard about what happened and rushed to the hospital. Annie was stopped by a doctor on her way to the room.

"What's going on, how is he? Alyx?" Annie asked.

The Doctor looked down, then back up at Annie, "There's no way I can sugar coat this, it seems as if he's dying, slowly. The injuries he sustained make it hard to believe that he even survived."

Annie, with tears in her eyes, pushed past the Doctor and into the room where Alyx was. She stood next to the bed; Annie fell to her knees.

"I-I'm so sorry... Alyx!" Annie wept.

Annie couldn't do a thing to help her brother, if she tried to heal him, he'd die from the shock, reforming of whatever bones he broke and whatever else happened to him. Annie wiped her eyes and looked at Alyx.

"Alyx, if you can hear me, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being there for you when you needed me. If I was a good big sister, you wouldn't be in this place. Y-You'd be at home with Momo and your other friends, not here clinging to your life! I'm so fucking sorry!" Annie wept.

Soon, Momo and the others would arrive at the hospital. The Doctors and Nurses only allowed people to enter the room one at a time, due to the room being so small and so that way nothing would happen to the equipment. The others would stay out and comfort Annie, the first person inside was Eijiro Kirishima. Kirishima entered the room, he couldn't believe what he saw. He pulled up a chair and sat down next to Alyx.

"Hey, Alyx. I'm not sure if you can hear me, but I just wanted to say thank you. You've helped me accept myself for who I am. I'm really glad I managed to be in the same class as you. I remember the time when you first showed us your Quirk, up on the school rooftop? Bro, it was honestly really cool seeing it! It still is, I just hope we'll get to see it again! I hope..." Kirishima told him.

He sighed and took one last look at his best friend. As he left the room, he couldn't stop crying, the next person to enter the room, was Denki Kaminari. Kaminari tried to make light out of the situation, but he couldn't. Once he walked into the room, he knew that this might've really been it. He sat down on the chair and spoke.

"Yo, man! I hope you're still hanging in there, I'm pretty sure you are! You've always taught all of us to be strong and I thank you for that. If you're wondering, Jiro and I told everyone that we were a thing! As positive as I'm trying to be about this, I don't know if I can really hold up the act. But I think... I think that you'd want me to be strong, just like you! Thank you so much, Alyx, for everything." Kaminari spoke softly.

Kaminari said his goodbyes for what felt like the last time and left the room. Izuku Midoriya wanted to head in, but couldn't bring himself to, so they allowed Katsuki Bakugo and Ochako Uraraka in with him. They entered the room and Midoriya started to cry. They stood by Alyx's bed, taking in the effects of what happened to him.

"Amnesia, you better not fucking die. I swear if you do... I'll... I..." Bakugo stopped talking and gritted his teeth.

Bakugo started to cry as well, "Alyx, please, you can make it! I fuckin' know you can! D-Don't you dare die on me, Alyx!"

Deku and Uraraka, while crying along with him, comforted Bakugo. They all walked outside, where one by one, they all came in to say their goodbyes. Finally, the only person that hadn't went in, was Momo Yaoyorozu. She approached the door, and with a shaky hand and breath, grabbed the knob. Momo couldn't bring herself to open the door, tears streamed down her face as she knew what was on the other side. She took a deep breath and quickly opened the door and shut it. Momo turned around and faced Alyx, she slowly walked towards the chair and sat down. She sat there in silence, staring at her beloved, and wondering if this could be the last time she'll ever see him.

"Alyx," Momo broke the silence, "I love you. I don't think there's been a single day where I've doubted if I loved you or not. I know you would want us to be strong if it was any one of us but... B-But..."

Momo broke down and started to cry, "I... I just can't! I should've stopped you from going by yourself! I-I know you didn't want any of us to get hurt, but I'd rather be here again than see you dying!"

"You're my hero, Alyx. You truly are...!" Momo quietly wept.

Alyx's hand lightly held onto Momo's, she looked up at him, Alyx was still unconscious. She smiled as she kept crying, knowing that he must've heard everything she said.

"Ever since we met, you've always been so uplifting. It was like you knew when I was beating myself up and when I was doubting myself. Those words you told me, about my Quirk? That's when I knew for sure you were the one." Momo sniffled.

"A-And... When we met our daughter from another timeline? That was wild, I don't think either of us were expecting that! But I think the one thing that made it all special, was that I was doing it all with you. I love you, Alyx. I'll always love you, darling." Momo got up and kissed Alyx on the forehead.

She sat his Nichirin Blade next to him, alongside with the Hanafuda earrings, and she left the room. They all stood outside the room in silence, none of them knew if this was the last time if they would see Alyx. A familiar face entered the hospital and stood in front of them. It was Kariya Leonidus! He didn't say a word, but he stepped aside, Kiko, Dabi, Himiko, and Hawks stood behind him. Annie got up and hugged Kariya, the others went and comforted the kids. Dabi, who's hair was now white, sat beside Shoto.

"So..." Dabi muttered.

Both of them remained silent, neither of them were sure what to say to each other. Shoto kept looking down at the ground, then he finally looked up towards Dabi.

"It's you, isn't it?" Shoto asked him.

Dabi nodded at him, "Toya. In the flesh."

Shoto hugged him. Dabi didn't expect such a warm welcome back from his younger brother, but nonetheless, he accepted it. The wishes that Alyx would be okay resonated throughout the hospital, hope filled the hallways and their hearts. That hope was felt inside of Alyx, as well. While in his coma, he managed to clench his fist. The next few days were hard on everyone, nobody was sure if Alyx would be alive. They were awaiting the dreaded news from Aizawa that Alyx had passed.

Annie visited the hospital with her mother and Lizzie for what felt like the last time. Right before they entered the room, a Doctor burst through the door, with a look of delight and excitement.

"What's going on?" Annie questioned.

"He's getting better! It's almost as if he's been healed or if some sort of miracle happened in his body! It's incredible!" The Doctor exclaimed.

The Leonidus' eyes widened, they rushed into the room where they saw that Alyx was off life support!

*LEONIDUS' P.O.V.*

I looked away from the window and towards the door. I smiled as I saw who was standing in the doorway. Liz jumped on me and hugged me tightly.

"H-Hey, kiddo! Long time, no see!" I smiled as I hugged her back.

All three of them hugged me for quite a while, I felt safe for the first time in a while.

"Did you guys fall asleep or something?" I jokingly asked.

Annie and my Mother let go of me, but Liz kept holding on. I tried to pry her off, but she had an iron grip on me!

I-I'm not letting go until you never give yourself ouchies ever again!" Liz sniffled.

"Come on now Liz, let go of your brother." My Mother giggled.

Liz still kept holding on, I guess she was keeping her word! My Mom was surrounded in red and black smoke.

"LIZ, GET OVER HERE NOW!" My Mother roared.

In the blink of an eye, Liz was right next to my Mother, who was now perfectly fine? I sat up and noticed that my sword and earrings, what were they doing here?

"Alyx, how...? How are you alive? The Doctor said that you only had a couple more days to live!" Annie wondered.

"Honestly, I'm not really sure either! I guess I just woke up one day this week and I was feeling a lot better. Apparently, one of my lungs were crushed, most of the bones in my upper body were broken. My kidney, large and small intestine, stomach, spleen, pretty much everything up here besides my heart got pierced or stabbed by those broken bones. My skull was alright thankfully!" I explained.

Their jaws dropped, "HOW ARE YOU EVEN ALIVE?!?"

Soon, the Doctors cleared me, I had to be wheelchair bound for now. Annie wheeled me out and my Mother and Liz followed. Before we got to the car, I asked them something.

"So, I have a question," I spoke up, "Why am I in a wheelchair if I can fly?"

"Did you just now think of that or did you when you got asked if you needed to be in a wheelchair?" Annie asked.

"Yes." I replied.

My Mother shook her head, "Good grief... You're an odd child, you know that?"

As we entered the car, Annie's phone rang. She answered it.

"Hey, we just got out of the hospital... Uh huh... Yeah... They said they weren't sure how many more days he'll be in there, he's getting a bit better though... Oh, well, I tried but they wouldn't let me... Okay, see you soon, girly!" Annie hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" I questioned.

Annie looked back at me, "Your little wifey, Alyx."

"My what? What in the hell does that mean?" I wondered.

"It's just another way of saying, 'Girlfriend', Alyx." She giggled

I nodded my head and Liz's little hand lightly smacked my arm. I looked over to see what she wanted. Her cheeks were puffed out and she was staring directly at me.

"Big boy! Huge man!" She exclaimed.

She squeezed my arm, I couldn't help but laugh, she's just the strangest little kid I've ever met!

"Aly, Mr. Denki told me a word. I dunno what it means though." Liz whispered in my ear.

I finally stopped laughing and whispered back, "What's the word?"

Liz put her hands over her mouth and grinned.

"I can't say it because it's a bad word!" She whispered back.

"Oh, come on! It's alright, you can tell me!" I persuaded.

Liz leaned into my ear, "Pooby...!"

She covered her mouth and kicked her legs around while giggling. I shook my head and smiled. I looked out of the window, it was almost night time. From the direction we're heading, we're going to U.A. It felt nice to be with everyone again though, it was almost as if I was still training for my first day at U.A. We pulled up to the entrance of the school. Mr. Aizawa was standing out there, and so was Principal Nezu. Annie and I got out and walked towards them.

"Welcome back, Alyx." Mr. Aizawa greeted.

I nodded my head. Mr. Aizawa handed me a shirt which I put on. I already knew what they were going to talk to me about.

"I'm assuming you're aware of what you did, correct?" Principal Nezu asked.

"Yes sir, I do." I responded.

Principal Nezu motioned me to crouch down closer to him. I did so and he put his paw on my shoulder.

"I know what you're thinking, but we aren't disappointed in you. We've decided to contact the Hero Association to conduct an investigation with the V.I. Vanilla situation. We've also asked them to pardon you, being that V.I. Vanilla was a Pro Hero, you would've been apprehended by the police and arrested." Principal Nezu told me.

I smiled at him, "Thank you, Principal Nezu."

Principal Nezu smiled back at me. I stood up and looked at Mr. Aizawa.

"Personally, I hated that guy. Anyways, I'd imagine you'd want to head back to the dorms." Mr. Aizawa added.

I nodded my head, before I left, I gave my family a hug. I promised Liz that I wouldn't hurt myself anymore, although things like that are inevitable. I walked back to the dorms with Mr. Aizawa. I'm pretty sure that everyone's asleep, it's about 11:00.

"So, how is everyone?" I asked.

"They're doing fine, their morale's been a bit lower than usual. But I can understand why, being that they were told you were dying." Mr. Aizawa informed me.

I looked down at the ground, "Is... Momo okay?"

"Yeah, she's usually on her balcony, or has been for the past week now." Mr. Aizawa told me.

I activated my Quirk and flew towards Momo's room. I could feel Mr. Aizawa smiling, I guess he understood. I saw Momo, she looked like she hadn't slept in a while! I lowered myself down to her balcony, she didn't look at me.

"Just an illusion... Yaoyorozu... It'll go away." She muttered to herself.

I landed on the balcony and put my hand on her shoulder, "Illusion? That's new."

Momo turned her head and looked at me, she stared at me, then she put her hand on my face. Tears streamed down her face.

"Y-You... You're..." Momo was choked up.

"Yeah, I'm okay." I smiled.

We kissed, theeeen we made out on her balcony. She stopped and looked at me, she finally smiled for the first time in a long time, I could already tell. She hugged me and I hugged her back. We sat there for a bit; we went inside to her room. I climbed into bed with her and snuggled up with her.

"Everyone's gonna freak the fuck out once they see that I'm okay." I whispered to her.

Momo grinned, "I know. Just... Keep holding me, please."

Momo got on top of me and rested her head on my chest. I held her and activated my Quirk to cool myself down a bit. I should see Kiko, Dabi, and Toga tomorrow as well. Thankfully it was Sunday tomorrow, so I didn't have to worry about school. I opened my eyes, this shirt I was wearing felt god awful! I tapped Momo on the shoulder and woke her up.

"O-Oh...? What's wrong?" She asked.

I sat up and she sat up on my lap, I took off my shirt.

"Shirt's fuckin' annoying." I responded in my sleepy voice.

I laid back down and Momo giggled. We finally got to bed, which I could tell Momo really needed it.

[The Next Morning...]

I woke up to Momo's snoring, I looked down and noticed a drool spot on my chest. I didn't want to wake her up, so I just laid there quietly. I looked over at the clock she had on her dresser, it was about 7:00.

"Screw that." I thought to myself and I went back to sleep.

I woke up, after what felt like 5 minutes, to Momo booping my nose. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"Morning." I yawned.

"Good morning, sleepyhead." Momo replied.

Momo got out of her bed, I moved slightly and every single part of my body was aching terribly! We got ready for the day and I slowly crept downstairs. I peered around the corner, everyone was sitting in the kitchen, not saying a word. The feeling of sorrow hit me like a truck! I walked towards the common room and turned on the T.V.

"Wow, that V.I. Vanilla guy really got his ass handed to him." I laughed.

I turned to face everyone; their faces immediately lit up with happiness. They rushed over to me, Kirishima hopped over the couch and tackled me to the ground! Everyone practically dog piled me while both laughing and crying.

"We'd never thought we'd see you again!" Jiro exclaimed.

I explained to them everything that the Doctors and Nurses told me. A look of awe and shock came over everyone's faces; they were about as surprised as I was! We definitely won't be hearing from V.I. Vanilla since his hero license will be revoked until the Hero Association finishes the investigation. Thankfully they understood what I did, he would've slaughtered Toga!

"You know, that's got me wondering something. How many other Pros are like him?" Deku wondered.

That was a good question, where there more people like Vanilla? That's a scary thing to think about, heroes that go out of code and do whatever they want? I guess since All For One and the League are gone, some of them are getting bored!
