An Awoken Quirk?! Infinite Mode Returns!

*THIRD PERSON*

"He's awake..." Annie replied with a smile.

A beacon of blue light exploded from the center of the crater. The blinding blue light generated violent winds that roared throughout the arena. Everyone that wasn't eliminated stood and stared at the spectacle of power! A white light sparkled from the base of the beacon. Tomikoa stepped forward towards the edge of the crater. The light disappeared and the dust began to settle. The aura around Alyx wasn't its familiar violet blue, it was instead a blue and white. Alyx's hair flowed with the wind, he looked up towards Tomikoa, his eyes now gleaming an ice white. He slowly moved his body up, and within seconds appeared in front of Tomikoa with a high kick that she luckily dodged.

Tomikoa threw a punch at Alyx, and he somehow dodged it in midair! They clashed fists which sent Alyx backwards. Tomikoa appeared in front of Alyx, ready to strike again, Alyx was about to make a move until his body moved for him, kneeing Tomikoa in the gut! Which made Tomikoa stumbled backwards in disbelief.

"Fourth Gear, what Mode is that?" Yosetsu asked.

Annie was dumbfounded, she's never seen something like this before! Did Alyx tap into some hidden technique? Surely, this wasn't Infinite Mode, right?

"I'm not sure, but whatever it is, it's working." Annie replied.

Annie observed Alyx's movements, he was dodging almost everything Tomikoa threw at him, something was different! She noticed how his hair was seemingly glowing white at the tips, alongside his ice white eyes and Overdrive flaring scar. Tomikoa and Alyx were now in the air, striking each other back and forth, neither of them seemed to be hitting anything but their fists against the other's.

"HRAAAAAAH!!" Alyx let out a surprising demonic sounding roar!

This took Tomikoa by surprise, and Alyx struck her with an Overdrive Fist! It sent Tomikoa down to the ground, and Alyx followed, roaring at the top of his lungs! Everyone watched on in shock, all of Class 2-A had wondered if he used that Demon Form that Nezuko told them about, due to how his scream sounded. Alyx hit Tomikoa so hard an explosion erupted from the impact! Once the smoke cleared, Alyx and Tomikoa were seen standing a few feet apart.

"So, you've managed to do it, haven't you?" Tomikoa smiled.

Alyx stood there, in complete silence, staring at Tomikoa. The tournament was halfway over, but it almost felt like it was just beginning!

"Hmph... It seems as if he's no longer as naïve as I thought... Interesting. This Quirk of his, it truly is a wonder." Monoma said to himself.

Deku slid down the crater and ran towards Alyx, "Alyx! I can-"

Alyx held his hand out and Izuku stopped in his tracks. Alyx looked at his hands and observed his new found powers. Whatever powers flowed through his body had dissipated and Alyx fell to the ground. Izuku rushed over and caught him as his hair fell downwards.

"Leave. I have no business with you, Deku." Tomikoa demanded.

Midoriya, with anger in his heart, charged up to 100% of his One For All and charged towards Tomikoa.

"QUIT UNDERESTIMATING US!" Izuku yelled.

He hit Tomikoa full force with a Detroit Smash and blew the side of the crater further back! He looked up and saw Tomikoa's head moved as Izuku hit her in the cheek. She glared over at him, Izuku looked stunned, he could see a faint glimmer of worry in her angered eyes.

"Don't... Don't waste my time, I can tell you'd be an easy victory. Now, go. Take him with you." Tomikoa pointed to the unconscious Leonidus.

Izuku calmed down as he listened to her and he picked Alyx up. He quickly jumped away and looked for a safe spot to put Alyx. He looked down as he noticed the white glowing light fading out of the tips of Alyx's hair.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵? 𝘐𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵." Izuku thought to himself.

They landed in a secure area, he propped Alyx up on a small boulder, then left to find the others. Soon, Leonidus finally woke up, he sat up and looked at his hands. He slowly got up as he looked at his surroundings.

"𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵'𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘐 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘛𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘬𝘰𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵. 𝘈𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘧." Alyx thought.

Down several feet below, Yaoyorozu stood off against Sashi and Sekawa!

"This is real annoying, we took out that buddy of yours but yet we're still struggling! I guess I can see why Leonidus is so fond of you!" Sashi remarked.

Momo held her bo staff firmly as Sekawa and Sashi readied a combined attack. Suddenly, from the sky, Alyx flew in and kicked Sashi in the face! He landed back on the ground in front of Momo.

"Are you alright?" Alyx asked.

Momo wiped blood from her mouth, "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Ah! There you are! I was wondering if that blonde chick kicked your ass or not. I figured I'd rough up your girl here as payment!" Sashi joked.

He laughed at her remark, "Well, I'm a bit worn out, but she definitely didn't kick my ass. I wouldn't be here if she did."

"Alright, so, if we're gonna do this, I want you to show me whatever the hell you used against her." She requested.

"Honestly, I'm way too exhausted to even attempt to go back into Infinite Mode, if that's what it was. It's not something that I can just tap into yet. I'll work up to it, I guarantee it! Just you wait, you'll see, I promise!" Alyx replied.

"So, you aren't gonna use your Quirk, and you wanna take me on? You're gonna get washed!" Sashi grinned.

"We'll see about that! Let's do this! Come on, Momo!" He shouted.

Alyx and Yaoyorozu charged forward towards the two siblings. Leonidus targeted Sekawa as Momo went after Sashi. Leonidus smiled at Sekawa as he noticed his much more composed figure.

"Hey, nice to see you've gotten control of your Quirk! Color me impressed, kid!" He complimented.

"T-Thank you, Leonidus! Let's get this going!" Sekawa smiled.

The two clashed fists before Sekawa starting hammering down strikes against Alyx, he dodged and ducked each of his strikes. He swept Sekawa's legs out from underneath him before jumping away from him.

"Your strikes are too wild, you can't hit me like that! Reform your stance and try again!" Leonidus instructed.

"Huh? You're teaching me? Why?" Sekawa wondered.

"You're next in line once I'm finished at U.A. I won't have the next generation of heroes leave without learning how to defend themselves! Give it everything you've got, alright?" Alyx explained.

Sekawa nodded and darted towards Leonidus, taking his advise seriously, he quickly adapted to what Alyx told him. Soon, he was landing well placed blows against Alyx as he guarded against them! Alyx quickly countered one of Sekawa's fists and elbowed him in the face. Meanwhile, Yaoyorozu had found herself struggling against Sashi as they both tried to gain control of the bo staff.

"Y-You aren't half bad, Yaoyorozu! Who would've thought someone like you would've been able to keep up with me!" Sashi smirked.

"T-That cockiness of yours... It'll only get you so far! Trust me when I say this, I'm not going down so easily, I didn't train with Alyx for nothing!" Momo retorted.

Strands of Sashi's hair wrapped around Momo's bo staff, she looked at Sashi's forehead and spotted an opportunity.

"𝘐 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨!" Momo thought.

She reeled her head backwards then headbutted Sashi as hard as she could, stunning her in the process, causing the strands of hair and Sashi herself to let go of the staff. Sashi stumbled backwards as she tried to shake back the sense into her head. Yaoyorozu made a cannon that fired off a huge matryoshka doll that rammed right into Sashi. She slammed into a nearby rock wall, she grit her teeth as she grabbed the doll and shattered it with her hair.

"That really pissed me off, you know that?! How the hell... You're gonna fucking get it now!" Sashi fumed.

Sashi's hair lifted upwards, the pressure around her cracked the wall behind her, her hair changed from red to a bright green. She slightly bulked up as she scowled at Yaoyorozu.

"You're in for it now!" Sashi yelled.

Ms. Joke elbowed Aizawa and grinned at him, "Sooo... Those little First-Years of mine are awfully impressive, eh?"

"Keeping up with someone like Leonidus is impressive no doubt, but there's one problem here." Aizawa responded.

"Huh?" She uttered.

"He doesn't fight seriously unless it's a legitimate threat. If he was fighting seriously from the get go, most of the participants would be already gone by now, which could've been an advantage to us." Shota continued.

Mineta blinked a few times as he looked at Aizawa, "That sounds like clear favoritism, Mr. Aizawa."

"It's not favoritism, it's a matter of skill level, Mineta. I could say the same about Midoriya alongside a couple of others as well. Taking into account their combat prowess, physical feats, not to mention how well they handle pressure." Shota corrected Mineta.

Alyx looked over and noticed the immense change in heat that was around Sashi. He knocked Sekawa back as he ran towards Sashi. He looked behind him and saw Sekawa had launched his hair to stop him.

"Oh no you don't!" Sekawa shouted.

"𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘒𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘢... 𝘎𝘦𝘯'𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘪 𝘒ō!" Leonidus thought.

Leonidus spun and twisted around at high speeds, creating a rainbow like wispy afterimage in the process, Sekawa's hair threads passed through the afterimage before he even realized that Alyx was gone.

"Huh? Where did he go?" Sekawa wondered.

Sashi launched a fist coated in green, hardened hair towards Yaoyorozu, Momo instinctively created a shield to block her strike. It dented the shield as she rapidly struck at it.

"Come on! Face me for real! Stop blocking!" Sashi roared.

Instead of connecting with Yaoyorozu's shield, her last fist was caught by Leonidus!

"This is getting real tough, huh? I didn't expect either of you to be this amazing!" Alyx beamed.

"Are you saying you were underestimating me? I'm way stronger than what you could ever imagine! I'd hate to eliminate you if you weren't fighting all out! I thought you were better than this, Leonidus." Sashi mocked.

"You read my mind, I'd hate to lose now!" He yelled.

Leonidus started to charge up to Mode One, he grit his teeth and clenched his fists, "HAAAAAAaa.... RAAAAH!!!"

He powered up to Mode One at full power! Alyx took a deep breath in then out before looking back over to Sashi.

"Alright, this has got me pumped!" Leonidus beamed.

He charged towards Sashi as Yaoyorozu made her way towards Sekawa. Alyx and Sashi traded huge blows to one another, Sashi got the upper hand thanks to her now impressive strength, she slammed her fist into Alyx's stomach. Her hair wrapped around Alyx's neck and she held him up high.

"Heh, I thought you said you were worn out? Here, let me help you!" Sashi cackled.

Alyx yelled out in pain as the hair around his neck slowly got tighter. Leonidus closed his eyes as a bright blue "V" shaped symbol flickered on his forehead. He roared as he entered Mode Four, the hair around his neck exploded away from him as he landed on the ground.

"Hmm... It looks like I still have some left in me. I guess all of this fighting's making my blood boil!" Leonidus smiled.

"Good! I thought you were done for! That would've been embarrassing if I eliminated you like that." Sashi responded.

Sashi charged forward, shooting her hair out towards Leonidus, it phased right through him as he created afterimages using his Speed Bound technique. He appeared right behind Sashi before knocking her back into a cliff and firing off a barrage of Overdrive blasts. The blasts were reflected back to him, Leonidus dodged and hopped over each one of them. From behind, Sekawa slid in, Alyx looked behind him and blocked his strike with a forearm. Sashi followed suite but was blocked by Alyx's other forearm. Yaoyorozu ran up but was stopped by Leonidus' eyes and smile.

"You know, you've gotten a lot better! We haven't even been fighting for that long yet it feels like you improved a lot! You still have some things to work on, though. Your strikes are a bit too easy to guess, similar to how your brother's were." He told her.

Sashi threw a kick at Alyx but he narrowly dodged out of the way. He grabbed her leg and tossed her into Sekawa. She huffed as she pushed herself off of him.

"I'm getting tired of this! Sekawa, remember that thing Mom and Dad taught us?" Sashi asked.

Sekawa nodded and both of them held each other's hands. A huge blinding light quickly flashed as a sound echoed throughout the huge arena.

"W-What's going on?!" Momo shouted.

Leonidus and Momo uncovered their eyes to see a shocking sight, Sekawa and Sashi combined together!

"AHA HA HA HA!! This power is incredible! I doubt you could even touch me now!" She shouted.

The pressure she put out was intense, the winds violently swayed and blew around as her power increased.

"W-What is this?" Momo asked.

"This is called 'Total Spirit Absorption', Sekawa and I have combined together. That's means..." Sekashi smirked.

Sekashi bulked up and the ground below her indented, "I CAN BEAT YOUR ASS!"

"Oh no, this isn't good at all! They somehow combined!" Koda fretted.

"Total Spirit Absorption... What even is that?" Yosetsu wondered.

"It's a technique that those with the same Quirk can use. It combines the two users into one powerful user. From my understanding, you can't perform the technique unless you have the same Quirk. For example, if you've got a Fire Quirk, you'd need to have someone with a similar type of Quirk, you can't just do it with any other one." Vlad King explained.

With blinding speed, she zoomed towards the two of them! She appeared right behind both of us Yaoyorozu and Leonidus. They both turned around and tried to strike at her, but she dodged their strikes with ease! She punched both of them in the gut and sent them flying backwards. Alyx locked arms with Momo in the air, He then threw her at Sekashi, which Sekashi was hit head on by Momo's staff! Alyx darted towards her with his leg reeled back as far as possible. He kicked Sekashi hard in the neck, which she retaliated by grabbing his leg. Before she could do anything, Momo hit her in the stomach with her staff, and Sekashi kicked her away. Alyx activated Boost Fire and kicked her in the face using his free leg. This caused her to stumbled backwards, letting go of Alyx's leg. Alyx quickly jumped backwards to help Momo up.

"Goddamn it! That hurt, ya know!" Sekashi grumbled.

Alyx looked up, before he could even react, Sekashi had reeled her fist back! She was charging up some sort of attack, she fired it off, Leonidus pushed Momo out of the way. Sekashi's attack slammed into Alyx, almost making a burrowing tunnel in the arena! Momo stood back up, figuring that Alyx had been eliminated.

"Well, well, well, that was easier than expected. You guys actually call him strong? What a waste!" Sekashi mocked.

Momo held out her staff, "If he wasn't here... Then none of us would've made it this far!"

In a last-ditch attempt, Momo ran towards Sashi, although she knew she was the next to be eliminated. Momo still held onto that hope that she could find a way to defeat her. But, just as she predicted, Sashi quickly overcame her. Sashi grabbed the beaten Yaoyorozu by the hair.

"See ya!" She shouted.

Sekashi chucked Momo across the arena. Momo felt as if she failed her classmates and U.A. Then, a force swooped by her, taking her to the ground. She looked to see who her silent savior was, her eyes lit up with joy, as a blue and white aura lit up her face.

"WHAT THE?! I-IMPOSSIBLE!!" Sekashi roared.

Alyx turned around, the aura around him intensified and formed around his body. His eyes opened and revealed those sharp, ice white colored eyes. The tips of his hair began to glow white yet again! Something different happened this time, as red and black smoke came off of Alyx's body.

"HURAAAAAH!!!" Alyx roared.

Now that Momo was closer to him, she studied his shout. It sounded exactly like his Demon Form scream combined with his regular voice! Momo buried her head in his chest as the winds and pressure grew more intense.

Sekashi looked on in amazement, "I-Incredible... So, this is your full power...?"

Alyx, now somehow using Infinite Mode yet again, shocked the remaining participants in the tournament. Tomikoa watched on as she witnessed this grand showcase of power!

"He really has done it... He's awoken his Quirk... Wonderful..." Tomikoa muttered.

As the Universal Hero Tournament slowly comes to an end, one thing was for certain, Alyx's newly found powers were continuing to grow! Right before everyone's eyes, an undiscovered awakening was taking place, one that could turn the tides for U.A.! How would Sekashi fair against the seemingly rejuvenated Alyx Leonidus? Could their Total Spirit Absorption be enough to take on Leonidus' Awoken Quirk? Everyone in the stands watched on as they witnessed Alyx's display of power once more. Not a single person kept their eyes off of what they were seeing.

"I'm nowhere close to him, but I can feel something's different about him." Shona observed.

"Yeah, it's almost as if his Quirk's gotten even more powerful somehow!" Kaminari added.

The fight between Sashi and Alyx was coming to a close, which one would walk away standing? Who would be the next sitting in the stands? Which combatant would come out victorious? All will be answered soon during this fiery battle between Sekashi and Alyx Leonidus!
