"Hey, Boooo Beaaaar..." I heard Himiko whisper.
I woke up from my sleep, I look over to see that she was sitting on top of me.
"Huh...? Oh... Did I wake you up?" I groggily asked.
She leaned forward and looked at me, "Say something again!"
"W-What? Why...?" I replied.
"Oh... Yeah!! You're a good kisser and have a hot sleepy voice! You definitely aren't worth stabbing, not yet anyway." Himiko moaned.
Good to know that I was still off the hook for now. I looked to my right and looked at the time, it was exactly midnight.
I rubbed my eyes and yawned, "Is something wrong?"
"Nope! We just have to go on a mission!" Himiko told me.
A-A MISSION?! What in the hell was she talking about? I thought she just lived here. I got up and reluctantly got ready for this mission. Himiko went to her closet and pulled out a mask.
"Here, take this. I've got something else in here but... I think I should save that for later!" She giggled.
I put the mask on, thankfully it covered my entire face, so I didn't have to worry about someone recognizing me by my hair. We walked out into the bar where a portal was ready for us. Dabi walked through the portal without saying a word, I guess he's coming along as well? We walked through the portal and appeared in a field. There Dabi stood, looking down at a warehouse.
"We need to clear this warehouse of any unwanted guests. Can you handle that, nutjob?" Dabi asked Himiko.
"You know it!" Himiko cheerfully exclaimed.
We made our way down to the warehouse. Himiko and I took cover behind a wall as Dabi pounded on the warehouse overhead doors. They slid open and without hesitation, Dabi torched whoever was inside! He shook off his hand and looked in our direction.
"Lucky us, we only had to deal with one squatter today." Dabi declared.
"Aww... But I wanted to have some fun too!" She whined.
We walked inside the warehouse after Dabi to sweep the area. Fortunately, there wasn't anyone inside, I really didn't want to see someone get stabbed or burned to death. As we left, Dabi closed the overhead doors behind us.
"So, I take it you're staying here permanently, right?" Dabi questioned.
"Maybe, I still have school to do so..." I replied.
Dabi smirked at me, "School, huh? What's a kid like you doing here then?"
I looked at Himiko, then back at him. Dabi chuckled as we walked through the portal. We stepped out back into the bar room. Himiko once again pulled me back into her room, at least I'm not dead... Yet. I sat down on her bed and she stood in the middle of her room.
"Are you really gonna sleep in that?" She cringed.
"What? Do you expect me to sleep without anything on?" I sarcastically replied.
She tilted her head and looked to the side, "I mean, it would be an amazing alternative. Then, I could hear your heartbeat, and all that blood pumping!"
"No." I simply responded.
Himiko got ready for bed but stood in the middle of her room and pouted. Although this was an odd experience, was I getting feelings for Himiko?
I sighed at her, "Good grief..."
I took my shirt off and Himiko sprang towards the bed. She latched onto me and nuzzled her head against my chest. I honestly couldn't help but feel infatuated with her, if this is what Toga's like "normally" then... I kinda like it, maybe I could get used to staying here after all. But then again, what about everyone else at U.A.? Was I really going to throw away all of that just for Himiko?
I wrapped my arms around her and I fell asleep. It didn't even feel like a minute before I woke up, but I wasn't in bed with Himiko. Something was enveloped around me besides my eyes and hands. Emerging from the shadows was a man in a suit, the top half of his face looked as if it was melted together, he didn't have any eyes! He grinned at me.
"Now, you seem like a perfect person to pass on my abilities to. Although Tomura might be displeased, I've seen everything you've done, Alyx Leonidus. I've had my eye on you for quite some time, it's a shame however, you might have to kill those imbeciles you call "friends" though." He echoed.
I clenched my fists and tried to move, but I felt hand get placed on my head.
"He's not doing anything with you, Shigaraki." A woman announced.
"Is that so? Have you not seen what he's doing?" Shigaraki asked.
"I have, but that isn't where his destiny lies, you know that as much as I do. He's returning home tomorrow." She rebutted.
Shigaraki cackled, "Are you sure he already isn't home?"
"I'm sure, he's not anything like you." She answered.
Shigaraki crossed his arms, "We shall see, set him free and observe what he does."
The numbing feeling around me stopped and I fell to the ground. The first thing I thought of was Momo, I'm not sure why, but whatever Shigaraki said pissed me off. I ran towards him and he smiled.
"See? What did I-" I interrupted him by ramming my fist into his face.
After that, I woke up in Toga's room by myself. I got up and put my shirt back on, I left her room and went into the bar. It was completely empty, so I didn't take my time with leaving. Or, so I thought it was empty, until I heard Shiggy's voice.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.
"I-I'm going home, I've got school things to do." I answered.
"Oh... Right, you're one of those U.A. brats. Hmm... Actually, I might have some use for you, I suggest you stay and listen." Shiggy told me.
I moved away from the door and sat down on a bar stool next to him.
"I need some... Information. Valuable information. Luckily for me, you're my best bet. So, I'd like you to be the good little hero that I know you are and keep me updated on things. Things like... The location of certain people and more. You have a phone, right?" He continued.
"Yes, I do." I nodded.
He looked down at an empty glass, "Write your number down."
I quickly wrote my phone number down as the portal making bartender handed me a piece of paper. Shiggy held the glass with one finger extended outward away from it.
"If you go around telling others about this... I will kill you. Hell, maybe I'll start with that family of yours. I've done some... Research on you... Alyx Leonidus. It would be a shame if this got out and your Father was killed." He threatened.
I slowly nodded as he looked at me, he finally placed all five fingers on his glass, it then turned into ash!
"Good, that's wonderful, you can leave... Friend." He smiled.
I quickly walked out of the bar, then headed down the alleyway towards home. That entire dream replayed in my head, who were those people? Why did that woman help me? What was I supposed to even do? As I was walking home, I ran into Midoriya.
"Hey! Midoriya-san!" I yelled over to him.
He turned around and waved, "Hey, Leonidus-kun!"
We walked down the street and I helped him carry groceries.
"Uh... Leonidus-kun, you smell like cheap liquor and some kind of perfume, why's that?" Midoriya questioned.
"It's a bit of a long story, trust me." I replied.
"Ah, okay." He told me.
I looked at him as we stopped, "Hey, so, I have a question."
"O-Oh, hm? What is it?" Izuku responded.
"Why does Bakugo-san act the way he does? Has he always acted like that towards you?" I wondered.
"Well, ever since Kacchan started developing his Quirk, he's been always like that towards me. It got worse once I got told I was Quirkless." He told me.
"Woah, how long were you Quirkless for? You've never told me." I asked.
We started walking down the street, "A little while before U.A. held their Entrance Exams. But middle school was rough for me, I was always made fun of for being Quirkless, everyone even laughed at me when I said I wanted to go to U.A. Even my teacher was questioning me, then it came down to Kacchan and..."
He didn't say anything as we made it to his home, he lived in a rather nice looking apartment building. We went up to his apartment and I knocked on his door with my free hand. His mother opened it, Izuku was almost a spitting image of his mother!
"Oh, Izuku! You didn't have to go out and get the groceries for me! Oh, who's this?" She smiled.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Midoriya! My name is Alyx Leonidus, I'm in the same class as your son." I bowed.
She let us in and I helped them put the groceries away.
"So, Leonidus-kun, how long have you known my Izuku for? I don't think I've seen you around during his time in Aldera." She asked.
"I've known him since school started up back in April! I moved here from America sometime in March, actually." I replied.
She started to cook something for lunch, "Well might I add, your Japanese is rather astounding! Would you like to stay for lunch?"
"Thank you! And yes please, I'd love to!" I responded.
Izuku and I went to his bedroom, honestly, he might be the biggest All Might fanboy out there! Almost everything in his room had something to do with All Might. I found a picture on his shelf, it was a family picture.
"Hey, Midoriya-san, where's your Father? Is he at work or something?" I questioned.
"Yeah, he's actually working abroad, he hasn't been home in a while." Izuku replied.
I nodded and set the picture back down on the shelf, "So, what were you gonna tell me about Bakugo-san? Something about middle school?"
"Oh right... W-Well... He told me that if I wanted a Quirk that I should've jumped off the roof of my middle school and pray that I'd be reborn with one. It's honestly something that's stuck with me since then. I'ts hard to believe that someone who's your childhood friend would say it and wholeheartedly mean it. But I haven't let it get to my head, although it definitely does sting." He explained.
I looked at him in disbelief, I knew Bakugo was rude, but saying something like that is just going overboard.
"That doesn't exactly sound like someone who's a friend to me." I remarked.
[2 Hours Later...]
After eating lunch with Midoriya and his mother, I returned home. His mother is probably the sweetest person I've ever met! Annie came into my room and leaned against the doorway.
"Some 'sleepover' you had, Alyx. Care to tell me about it?" Annie smirked.
I sat up from my bed, "Well... Do you remember that one girl I told you about that broke into the house?"
"Uh huh, go on." Annie nodded.
"So, I found her in an alleyway after I saw this door open. Then from there, she kissed me and this dude named Dabi saw us. Himiko called me her boyfriend and I spent the night in a bar turned living space." I explained.
"Sounds like quite the adventure, I'm surprised you didn't get killed." Annie replied.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking!" I laughed.
Annie rolled her eyes and laughed as she left my room. I looked out of my bedroom window, I wonder if I'll ever see Himiko again. Honestly, I shouldn't even be thinking about her anymore, if she is a villain, then things wouldn't work out between us. I need to focus on school rather than her. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong and something will come out of this, but I really can't and don't want to think about that right now.
*THIRD PERSON*
Darren Leonidus sat in a conference room with the staff at U.A. This was his second meeting with them to discuss possible ways that they could reverse Leonidus' Amnesia.
"We've been looking for different ways to treat it, but being that he's gone this long with his condition, I'm not sure if there's anything we can do. That poor kid, it's a wonder that he hasn't gotten upset about it, having a strong Quirk then not being able to use it at his former level? That must be hard on him." Midnight told him.
"Yes, but he hasn't said a word about it, it's almost as if he's already understanding the situation he's in. There's something about him that I've been keeping from you all. My son's strength isn't found in his Quirk." Darren responded.
All Might and the others looked intrigued. Darren laid out a rather old photo of a man with a peculiar scar on the left part of his forehead with a woman, presumably his wife.
"My son isn't strong because of his Quirk... It's because... He's a part of the Kamado bloodline. A descendant of Tanjiro Kamado himself!" Darren revealed.
"Tanjiro Kamado...? Wait, that name sounds familiar." Aizawa muttered.
All Might looked at the picture, "He was a part of a group known as the 'Demon Slayers', my master Nana Shimura studied them and told me about them. They were remarkable people with amazing abilities. I'm fairly certain that some of their techniques could rival some of our own Quirks!"
"Demon Slayers? You mean they killed things like monsters from the underworld and such?" Snipe wondered.
"Technically yes, they are, but they were vastly different than your stereotypical monsters. They were former humans turned demons, gaining different abilities, much like how we all have different Quirks. A man by the name of 'Muzan Kibutsuji' was supposedly the first demon, I'm unsure if that's true or not however." Darren answered.
He passed around the photograph to the other staff members. They looked at it intrigued, their eyes held a great curiosity.
"Huh, he almost looks like him. I guess there's no point in trying to do a DNA test." Present Mic remarked.
The meeting carried on as Darren put the photo away. With Leonidus' Amnesia still in question, was there a way to get his memories back, or would he have to take the hard road to obtaining his former strength?
