Start of the Boss battle

Inside a dark cave, a black cocoon burst open. Inside it was a skeleton with black runes on its bones glowing with power while a dark aura covered his whole body.

I woke up with System's voice ringing inside my head, "Evolution Complete. Stats increased. New skill gained. Assassin related skills evolved."

" Hmm! All my skills related to an assassin have evolved and I also got this new amazing perk and my first passive skill which increases my defense by quite a lot." Then my attention went to my arms, which were glowing with black symbols upon them. It was quite amazing and when I checked my body attentively, I saw a dark aura covering my body as a layer. ' It must be due to the perk and my passive skill protecting me.'

After checking my speed, power, and skills, I was ready for another round. And this time I wanted to kill the boss. But I needed something better than my sword and shield, " System, how much can I buy curved daggers for?"

" A pair of curved daggers will cost you 200 points in the Uncommon category and in, Rare category it will cost you 400 points."

" How much can I sell my sword and shield for?"

" They can be sold for 50 points each."

" Ok then, I am buying a pair of rare curved daggers and selling the sword and shield."

" System, what is the difference between Upgradable and Evolvable?"

" Upgradable weapons can be upgraded using related items and their stats will increase. Evolvable weapons evolve when their conditions are met and every time they might get a new stat bonus or a new perk but their conditions are unknown, that's why they are in the Rare category rather than being in higher ones. "

' Hmm! I might have to take a gamble here between higher damage or evolution. But both of the evolvable daggers have good stats for now. Let's buy them and maybe my Luck will help them to evolve. We'll see. '

" System, I want to buy the Vampire dagger and Shadow dagger."

' Now, let's go kill some hobgoblins. '

I equipped Vampire dagger in my right and Shadow dagger in my left. I went back to the dungeon and then, there was a massacre. Due to my dark aura, most of the low leveled goblins cowered and were quite afraid to fight. Higher-level ones hesitated to engage me, so grinding was becoming easy. After half an hour of cutting down the weeds, I met my first Goblin Shaman. He was surrounded by 10 hobgoblins with full plated rusty armors and swords.

I sped through the hobgoblins and reached the goblin shaman, I sped my dagger in a curved motion aiming for his neck but something stopped my dagger a few inches away from his body. I understood that it was a magical barrier. Then a sword slash came at my back but I dodged it easily.

The Shaman charged a fireball and threw it towards me, it was quite fast but I was able to dodge it. I ran towards the hobgoblins and used my right dagger to slash one's neck while stabbing my left dagger into another's eye, killing both of them. The Shaman was still throwing fireballs at me but I used my dark magic and redirected one of them towards a hobgoblin. He incinerated right there, with his armor becoming a red hot pile of goo.

I was not afraid of the Shaman due to my many skills and my Dark barrier. I killed all other hobgoblins, making sure that I and the shaman were the only people alive right now, I sped towards him using my skills "Flash Steps" and sped in a flashing zig-zag motion. I was repeatedly using my flash steps and attacking him from all sides, not giving him a chance to attack. After 05 secs and 50 attacks all over his body, the barrier finally broke. And in a single Dark flash, his head flew off.

' My remaining exp to advance to Level 11 is 100,000. I need to kill some more of these Shamans to level up fast. '

After an hour of dealing with Shamans, I was finally at Level 13. And standing in front of a massive gate, then my mission notification rang.

" New mission:

' Well if the first reward starts at 25% damage taken, does that mean I will not be able to defeat him under less than 25% health loss... I have to be careful.

I opened the big gate which didn't take much of my strength. After I went inside, the gate automatically closed behind me and the room started to lighten up.

In the center of the room was a big throne, atop was it sitting the Goblin Lord. He was wearing equipment of golden color. And a sword was in his hand. I started walking towards it, as it had already seen me.

" What are doing inside my room you puny skeleton? Have you come here to fight me?" The Goblin lord said. I was serious inside but, mockingly said, " Heh! I killed my way here easily. Is this all the level your soldiers are at. As they say the weaker the soldiers, the weaker the king."

The Goblin lord roared, " WHO SAYS THAT? I am strongest that's why I am the king. Don't compare me to those ants! I will kill you for your blasphemy!"

I used "Appraisal" on him...
