4. Adventure in the East Blue Part 2

Now that we have 6 of us on the ship we should get a chef as I'm tired of cooking everything. Sailing in the direction of the Baratie I told Ussop and Kaya about my abilities, the training manuals and gave them each gravity belts. Kaya could only go to ×1.05 but Ussop was able to start training at ×2 after a lot of complaining. As they worked out I made sure to keep an eye on Kaya's condition. She didn't seem to have anything physical wrong with her. I hope it's just something mental and not a tumor or something. Because I'm not sure if Kuroha can operate on a tumor.

After a day of sailing Luffy was getting bored bouncing around the ship. He started trying to aim the cannons but kept missing. Before Ussop came over and showed a part of his future potential by hitting an out crop of rocks 750 meters away. That was when I noticed a rowboat coming from them.

"Hey guys, we have someone headed this way." I let everyone know.

Glancing over everyone sees him. Then Zoro questions before shouting out loud " Hey is that Yosaku. Hey Yosaku! How are you? Where's Johnny?"

" Is that you brother Zoro? It's Johnny he was sick so we were resting on that out crop of rocks before they exploded. " Yosaku yells as his boat gets closer.

" Shishishi sorry we were practicing our aim." Luffy says scratching his head.

" I have some training as a doctor so how about we get him on the ship and I can treat him. Kaya go get the first aid kit I'll go over and get him. " I say quickly. Leaving I quickly grab Johnny and bring him back. Kaya and I quickly examine his body.

" Kaya what do you think he has based on his symptoms?" I ask.

" From the bleeding gums, heavy bruising, fatigue and fever. I would diagnose him as having scurvy and mild dehydration. " She says unsure glancing at me from behind her bangs.

" You are correct. " I say patting her head. " Grab some orange juice and vitamin C packs we will mix them together. We will give him this and one of the I.V. bags to help him rehydrate."

She quickly left and came back with the needed stuff. After that it only took us 15 minutes to help get him on his way to healing in one of the rooms.

" Thanks for the help you guys. If it wasn't for you Brother Johnny would have died. " Yosaku says with tears and snot dribbling down his face.

"It's no problem our Captain is pretty big on helping his friends. " I say with a smile.

" Shishishi of course. " Luffy says back to sitting on the figurehead.

" Kaya thanks for the assistance. You will make a great nurse when we get a full time doctor. I noticed your looking a lot healthier now that your working out. " I say

" Its no problem that's my Job on the crew. " She replies with a sweet smile.

After that little adventure we found out the exact location of the Baratie. It was only a two day trip. During that time I was over looking Nami, Ussop and Kaya's training. Zoro was practicing with Luffy. Zoro can now produce a flying slash not a huge one but enough to cut a tree maybe a rowboat.

Sailing up to the Baratie we say a marine ship sailing near us. I decide to call Garp and let him know that we will probably encounter the Kreig pirates at the Baratie. He said to just give them to Smoker with any other Pirates we encounter. As we weren't flying a pirate flag there was no incident with the marines like the anime. Eventually we docked at the floating restaurant. Getting a table was pretty easy. Eventually Curly-Brows himself came to the table.

" Welcome to the Baratie. What can I get for you? " He says with a bored look on his face. Before he sees Nami and Kaya. " Oh you beautiful women it would be my honor to get you whatever your heart desires. " He says now with hearts for eyes.

Nami seeing a sucker manages to swindle her and Kaya's food for free. The guys of course have to pay. " Shishishi he's pretty funny. " Luffy laughs at him.

" Shitty perverted swirly brows completely ignored us as soon as he saw a woman. " Zoro snorts.

" You buffoon I just saved 25,000 bellies on this meal. That's how your supposed to treat a lady. " Nami says after hitting Zoro's head.

As we finish our meal we are interrupted by some noises outside.

* Crash *

* Bang *

A marine near the door drops down holding his leg and Gin comes into the restaurant. He gruffly yells, " I'm starving. Bring me some food. "

Patty comes forward. " Do you have money to pay? "

Pointing the gun at Patty's head, " Do you take lead? "

" Nope! Sunday Surprise! " Patty yells as he kicks him out the restuarant. After that everything seems to quiet down. I do notice that Luffy and Sanji disappear. It seems that canon will be playing out with them. As we pay for our meal Luffy walks back to us.

" I found our future chef its him. " He says with a smile as he points to Sanji.

" Don't tell me it has to be that pervert. " Zoro says looking upset.

" What did you call me you shitty moss head? And I already told you I'm not joining your Crew." Sanji says while puffing a cigarette.

" I already said I refuse your refusal. " Luffy says picking his nose.

" I still have a dept to pay to the shitty old man so I can't leave yet. " Sanji says with a thoughtful expression.

" You Brat I already told you if you want to leave then leave. " Zeff says as he comes out of the back.

" Either way we aren't leaving until you come with us. You might as well as just come already. " Luffy says with a silly smile.

We spend the next three days training before a sliced up galleon appears. Being curious we decide to head into the restuarant to see Kreig on his knees scarfing down a meal.

" That was delicious. Now I need a hundred meals for my crew. " Kreig demanded with a cruel smirk.

" Your not full are you have a Sunday Explosion for dessert." Patty says as he fires a rocket launcher at Kreig.

" That was disgusting. " Kreig says as the smoke clears then he clotheslines Patty into the ground. Then Zeff comes out with a huge bag on his back.

" Here's your food feed your crew and get lost. A loser who can't even make it on the Grandline for a month has no place here. " Zeff says with a sneer. Meanwhile all of chefs are calling Zefd begging him not to give him the food.

" Zeff? Your Red Leg Zeff. After I feed my crew I will come back take your ship and logbook. Then I will conquer the Grandline. " Kreig says as he takes the food and leaves. Hearing this everyone starts to panic thinking of the blood thirsty Kreig pirates.

Seeing the panic I have an idea. Walking over to Zeff I say, " Hey Zeff. I have a proposition for you. We the Straw Hat Pirates will take on the Kreig Pirates and in exchange you give us Sanji. My captain really wants him as our Chef and I don't want to be stuck here for a month while my Captain wears him down. "

" Whahaha you brats are pirates. And you in the Straw Hat your the Captain? " Zeff asks.

" Yep. " Luffy nods.

" Alright as long as you protect my ship and take out the Kreig pirates. Sanji is yours. " Zeff says almost laughing.

" Hey you shitty geezer. Don't go giving me away I can protect the ship all by myself if I have to. " Sanji says feeling upset.

" No! You brat this is a battle between pirates now. You should watch. See if this is a Crew you could join. I'm saying they can have you but only if you want to go. You will always be my son. So listen to your father you bastard. " Zeff says and I swear I say a tear fall.

" Alrigbt everyone before for battle. It's time to show these Craig pirates why we are the strongest. " Luffy says as he tips his Straw hat down.

We walk out of the restaurant after they make the fins/seating deck out. I see Nami acting strange so I pull her to the side.

"Nami. I know your secret. I know you want to run away but I want you to stay. I am gonna show you something that will make you believe in us. " I say staring in her eyes. I can see how nervous and shocked she is.

" Wh-wh-what do you mean you know? What do you know? " Nami asks as she really starts to panic.

I grab her shoulder and get her to look at my eyes. Then I say " Nami, I know about Arlong. I know he is why you want to raise 100 million bellies. He is why have to go out alone. But we are strong enough and I can prove it to you all you have to do is trust me. Can you do that?

" I-i think I can. But he's a Fishman he's ten times stronger than a human. " Nami says near tears.

" That's a normal human Nami. Do Zoro, Luffy and I look like normal humans to you? " I ask with a wry grin. " So how about you go by Sanji and Zeff and I'll show you how strong we really are.

Walking back up to everyone I see them ready to go. " Hold up guys I have something I want to ask. Luffy would you mind if just I went to fight? I want to show everyone a taste of how strong you and I are when we go all out. " I ask my Captain.

" Alright Jonny. It will give everyone a goal to work towards to see how strong they can get as long as they work hard.0 " Luffy says with a thumbs up.

" What are you crazy there has to be at least 100 of them. How are you going to take them out? " Sanji asks with serious expression.

" These guys will be easy. If Zeff was in his prime he could handle them in no time flat. They probably won't even be a warm up. " I say as I draw Ebony and release my gravity belt. " Try to watch me but I may be to fast for you. "

What follows for everyone but Zeff and Luffy is a blur of movement then blood. After ten seconds it is just silent as all the Kreig pirates lie dead. After five more seconds I am back in front of everyone with the heads of Kreig, Gin and pearl in my inventory and their ship looted then everything useful transported to the Sparrow.

" See this is the strength you all can gain on our crew as long as you train hard. " I say looking at each of my crew mates before nodding at my Captain. " And Luffy is stronger than me. He helped me get this strong in 2 years with the techniques we have. Imagine how strong we'll be in 5 years or 10. We will make Luffy the King of the Pirates Together. "

* Swosh *

The Kreig pirates' ship was sliced in half.

" When I chased them to the East Blue to relieve my boredom after they woke me. I never expected to encounter such a skilled fighter. " Hawkeye said from his coffin shaped boat.

Seeing this man everyone was shocked and various whispers of his name went around

Zoro was the stepped forward, released his gravity belt and said something, " I went out to sea to meet you. To challenge you for your title. To Become the Greatest Swordsman in the World. Hawkeye Mihawk I challenge you to a duel "

Zoro disabbeared and reappeared on a bit piece of the galleon. He suddenly drew his three swords.

" Very well I accept. " Mihawk said as he appeared in front of Zoro then took the knife from his necklace. " Unfortunately I don't have anything smaller. "

" Are you mocking me use the sword on your back. " Zoro says starting to look angry.

" One should never use cannons when hunting rabbits. " Mihawk says uncaringly.

" Tiger Hunt! " Zoro attacked fiercely only for all the blades to be stopped by the tip of Mihawk's knife.

" What how? " Zoro asks in shock.

" A sword swung without finesse is just a piece of metal. " Mihawk replied.

Then they disengage Zoro would disappear and reappear attacking but everytime he was blocked by Mihawk who hadn't moved from his spot. Until suddenly in one move by Mihawk Zoro's chest was pierced by the knife. Zoro's blade froze in place as his chest was pierced. He just stayed there not moving in an inch staring at Mihawk's face.

" Why do you not step back? " Mihawk asks with an eyebrow raised.

" I don't know why. But I can't step back. To do that would be to throw away my ambition. " Zoro said with an intense look on his face.

" That is what it is to lose. Very well. " Mihawk said before he stepped back and took Yoru off of his back. " Come at me with your strongest attack. I shall answer it with the strongest blade in the world. "

" Nine Sword Style Nine Thousand Worlds. " Zoro shouted out loud as two more heads and four arms formed on him.

Then they clashed. The six swords broke apart before the illusion shattered and Zoro was left standing with two broken swords in his hands, Wado Ichimonji in his mouth and a new shallow cut across his chest. Turning around to face Mihawk he put away his sword and spread his arms.

" A scar on a swordsman's back is his shame. " Zoro said offering his life because he had lost.

" Truly Splendid. " Then Mihawk quickly struck making his previous cut become larger. The hit send Zoro off the piece of wood into the Ocean. Luffy disappeared to attack Mihawk as I quickly recovered Zoro and his sword. I returned in time to see Luffy still unleashing blows on Mihawk as he blocked with Yoru. I started fixing up Zoro. Then Luffy was blown back his hat knocked away from him

" You bastard! " Luffy shouted as he was sent flying away one band grabbing his hat. " Don't touch my hat it's my treasure. I got it from Shanks"

" Don't worry he is still alive, Straw hat boy. " Mihawk said as he jumped back to his boat and Luffy came over to check on Zoro. Then he turned to Zoro, " Boy tell me your name. "

" Roronoa Zoro! " He shouts.

" Very well I shall remember it. Make your name resound through this world. Then come challenge me at the top. And you boy in the Straw Hat what is your dream. " Mihawks asks

" Pirate King. " Luffy says a dead serious expression.

" Even more challenging than taking my title." Mihawk said aloud then whispered to himself as he sailed away. "Hahaha what a wonderful day. I was chasing rabbits and found three tiger cubs. Perhaps I should pay Shanks a visit."

After that is mostly just stitching Zoro and bandaging him up. Thankfully I am a pretty skilled doctor now from constantly treating injuries. It didn't to take long to clean up the after math using Black Hole. Then we had the traditional celebratory feast. Because whenever we beat up a group of people we eat. Everyone was having soup.

" Who made this soup? " Patty asked.

" Oh, I did. It's super delicious isn't it?" Sanji asked with a huge grin.

" No! This is the worst soup I've ever had. " Patty instantly refutes.

" Yeah well. Who asked for your opinion everyone else likes it. Right everyone? " Sanji asks his fellow chefs.

" This is disgusting." Random Chef A

" It taste like old bath water." Random Chef B

" Did you put your feet in this?" Random Chef C

" Eh, are you guys stupid this is delicious." Liffy says not understanding what's happening.

The chefs continue to insult him before Sanji burst out, " Old man you like my soup don't you?"

" This soup taste like the bottom of the trashcan. The only reason I'm eating it is because it's a crime in my restaurant to waste food." Zeff said glumly.

" Whatever screw you guys anyways." Sanji says as grabs his bag and starts to walk towards the door. Once at it he drops all his stuff turns around and bends til his forehead is on the ground tears down his face. " Thank you Head Chef Zeff for raising me and showing me how to be a real man. "

" Remember you'll always be my son and you'll always be welcome here!" Zeff shouts at Sanji as we leave.

With that our next destination is the home of Nami Cocoyashi Village. But first Nami is going to have to tell everyone her story. It's a five day trip so I figure day two or three will be a good time to tell everyone. I need to first give Sanji a gravity belt and the Rokushili manual so he can learn about the moves. I spend the whole first day on board teaching Sanji. This is because his fighting style mends extremely well with the Rokushiki. He should at least have Soru mostly down by the time we get to Cocoyashi. I mean his leg strength is like built for these moves. After talking we even came up with a version were he used the tip of his toes like a finger pistol. It might be his genetically modified body or his rivalry with Zoro but he is training with maximum effort. I mean he has already pushed his gravity belt to ×6.5 against Zoro's ×7.5 .Sanji was also happily surprised to learn that I was a pretty good chef, who had been taking care of the meals until he joined.

It was the night before we were a day away from Cocoyashi when Nami asked everyone to stay after we finished eating.

" You guys. There's something that I need to tell. Jonny figured it out and gave me the opportunity to tell all of you. To ask for your help. Instead of running away like I usually do when I get close to people. " Nami said as she started to tear up.

" Its ok. Nami-swan take your time. we will help you no matter what. " Sanji says actually be charming for once.

" He's right just tell everyone your story we will understand. " I said patting her head.

Nami told everyone her story, " I was adopted by Bellemere when I was just a baby. Growing up we didn't have a lot of money but we loved each other. I was a spitfire as a kid. I would steal books or candy anything I wanted really. Bellemere was always patient with me though. Then eight years ago Arlong appeared charging 50,000 bellies for each kid and 100,000 for each adult or he would kill them. Bellemere only had 100,000 bellies so she chose to sacrifice herself for us. Arlong killed her in front of the whole village as an example. Afterwards he found out about my cartography skills and forced me to work for his crew. In exchange for working for him he offered to let me buy Cocoyashi village for 100 million bellies. With what I have now I only need 4 million more. If you let me borrow the difference I'll pay you guys back with interest. "

" Nami are you stupid. -" I say being interrupted blocking a kick from Sanji. " As I was saying you are stupid Nami. If you want some money of course we'll give it to you. But do you think he will really let you and your town go peaceful. Think about it, will Arlong really be truthful or will he lie? I bet he will lie. How about we bet a kiss? And when he turns out to be a liar we can just kick his ass. As long as the Captain says."

" As long as Nami asks for help. We'll help. Jonny when we get into town watch over Nami from afar as she gives Arlong the money if something happens either grab her or come get us. " Luffy says his eyes dull but with a fire behind them.

" Alright you heard the Captain we will land the day after tomorrow that means everyone should prepare for battle. It may not happen but it's better to be ready. " As everyone walks away I pull up behind Nami. " Do you carry to make the water Nami?"

" Hmph, you jerk I was crying and you were calling me stupid. I'll take your bet why wouldn't Arlong trade my town for 100 million? " Nami asks while hits my arm blushing.

" Nami you forgot. You gained 100 million all alone starting as a child. You are worth way more than 100 million to any competent pirate crew. " I say flicking her forehead walking away past Nami who looks dumbfounded.

Back in my room I give Garp a call I tell him how Alrong has been ruling 20 towns in the East blue for 10 years. I said that the local branch 16 was most likely dirty. I said we would take down Arlong and any dirty marines we came across. He asked that we keep the dirty marines alive and hand them over to Smoker.q

The morning after the next we can see Cocoyashi Village in the distance. We finish up breakfast as we sail our ship to where's Nami house his a couple miles from town. Dropping the anchor we can see Nami's tangerine field. Hopping off the boat we walk towards Nami's childhood home. As we walk up a blue haired beauty maybe 21 or 22 walks out of the house a shotgun in her hands. Looking threatening until she spots Nami in our group.

"Nami who are these people? " Nojiko asks looking confused. Seeing her sister with so many people Nojiko is shocked. Her sister is usually so lonely and distrustful. But now she looks almost like how she looked when they were children carefree.

" They are my new Nakama. They helped me gather the 100 million I needed to buy the Village back from Arlong. Today we will be free. I'm gonna head over and give Arlong the money right now. You should tell the villagers about this with the others, Jonny is gonna watch me from a far to make sure I'm safe. " Nami says pointing at the others then me.

After that we separate ways. I pick up Nami and run until we are a kilometer away from Arlong Park. setting her down I pull out a sack with 100 million bellies inside. We deactivate our gravity belts and separate. I stay near enough to know what's going on with my Haki.

Nami walks into Arlong Park, " Arlong are you here come outside we need to talk. "

"Shahaha, look guys. If it isn't our precious navigator Nami. So Nami what do you want? " Arlong asks as he walks out filled by his cadre then the rest of the fishmen. He continues walking until he gets to his stone throne and plops into it.

Walking until she is 5 meters away. Nami throws the money onto the ground. " Here Arlong just like we agreed 100 Million bellies. "

" Really Nami you managed to get it all? You told me you were 8 million away you weren't lying to your Captain were you? Shahaha. " Arlong questions jokingly.

" Of course not Arlong. I just happened across a big sheep this time. I was able to get more than enough to cover what was left. " Nami says lying with a straight face.

" Damnit Nam, now you've gone and ruined my plan. I guess I should have had Nezumi come confiscate your money when you hit 90 million but I was too soft on you. Oh well. It doesn't matter I'll just keep you locked up in your room from now on. Anytime you don't lidten we'll take a limb from one of your little villagers. If you try to escape we'll take one from your sister. Shahaha. " Arlong tells her revelling in her obvious anguish.

I had seen enough before anyone can say anything else I appear with Nami in a princess carry and the money over my shoulder. " I think we've heard enough of this. Just wait for my captain. " In the next instant we're gone like ghosts.

We swiftly make our way to Cocoyashi. In front of the town we see the Villager and the Straw Hats. Landing in front of everyone I set Nami down.

Tears streaming down her face and not coming out of her nose she cried out. " Liar, liar. He lied. I held on hope for 8 years. What can I do? What can I do? "

Putting my hand on her shoulder she looked up at me. Then she turned to Luffy. " Luffy please help me save everything I Love!"

" Of course Nami! YOU'RE MY NAKAMA! " Luffy yelled as he placed his hat on Nami's head. Nami was shocked she touched the hat in her head. This was obviously very important to Luffy. He even bathed with it.

" Guys let's go. " Luffy says as the guys start to walk towards Arlong Park. It is a short walk for us we all disengaged our Gravity belts prepping for the fight. I took out my handguns and sword, gave Zoro two temporary swords, Luffy his naginata and Ussop his new slingshot, it's basically his post-timeskip weapon.

Before we get to the gate I say something, " Hey Zoro. Try not to kill the octopus guy you fight. He knows an important person on the Grandline. I mean so strong we can't get on his bad side. He could fight Mihawk as atleast sn equal. "

" Okay. I get it no octopus for lunch. Anything else First Mate?" Zoro asks.

" Nope you guys can run wild. you three should each fight a cadre. Luffy can fight Arlong. I will take out all the small fry and then raid their base. Zoro will fight the octopus, Usopp will fight the big lips one and Sanji you take on the sting ray. Remember to try out Soru if you think you can Sanji. " I say as we finally reach the big metal doors.

* Slam Bang*

The metal doors are ripped off their hinges by Luffy's punch and smash through the opposite wall and keep going until it falls in the ocean.

" Which one of you is Arlong? " Luffy says the most pissed I've ever seen him. He slowly starts walking forward.

" Shahaha, why are you looking for me you tiny pirate? " Arlong laughs, thinking we aren't a threat. " Boys take him out."

Instantly his small fry try to mess with Luffy but with a liberal use of Soru and Finger Pistol all of them are taken down. Now Arlong is serious he yells as he gets out of his chail " Enough Chew, Hachhi, Koroobi come take care of this filth. "

Seeing the Cadre coming out I decide to quickly take out all the Arlong Pirates except the cadre and Arlong. Seeing them now fighting the crew I decided to start searching Arlong park. I cleaned out there armory and safe. They had around 7.5 Billion Bellies. Searching their base the only other things I notice are a couple of seastone handcuffs and a couple of eternal long poses. Making sure I didn't miss anything I make sure to take their food too. When I returned out side it was to my crewmates sitting on the downed bodies of their opponents. After decapitating them all, except Hacchi who we threw into the ocean, we started to leave.

Upon reaching the hole that use to be the entrance we can see Kaya, Nami and Nojiko along with the rest of the town. " Shishishi thanks for bringing my hat back Nami. " Luffy laughs grabbing back his hat.

The entire town is astonished all of the fishmen lay dead. Their nightmare is over. They don't know who started it but now there dancing, crying tears of joy and freedom. Nami barrels forward into my chest before crying out, " Thank you for getting me to believe in the Crew Jonny. And thank you for rescuing me and my village, Captain."

"Shishishi of course Nami. YOUR MY NAKAMA! " Luffy shouts with his fists raised in the air.

" Chichichi. Nobody move you are surrounded by the marines. Now I can cash in Arlong's bounty and steal his treasure. Today is my lucky day. Chichichi. " Nezumi says with a greedy grin.

Before he can continue talking or giving orders I knock him and all of his flunkies unconscious. A quick chop put them each to sleep. " Gosh that guy obviously can't read the level of his opponents. Hahaha. " I say sheepishly before laughing.

" Yeah some people are real idiots. " fluffy agreed picking his jose in boredom.

" Well I'll go lock them up so we can hand them over to Smoker. See you back at Cocoyashi. Do you guys want the Fishmen heads for a few days before we leave to show the other villages?" I ask the Villagers getting a hearty no, before I leave. I place them in one room all in irons. Then I store Arlong, Chew and Kuroobi's heads in my inventory.

I take my time returning to not beat everyone back. Arriving I find out they sent people to tell all the Villages about Arlong's fall. To also meet and have a three day party here in Cocoyashi. hearing this I pull out enough food for a few hundred people some of it already cooked some just ingredients. Then I start pulling out an assortment of alcohol. Before turning to everyone with a cocky grin, " This should be enough to get us started right?"

" Shishishi. I knew you would make my Adventure more amazing Jonny. " Luffy says excited for a three day party.

The Party starts and eventually all 20 villages are gathered at once celebrating the destruction of the evil Fishmen. Once everyone is partying I secretly gathered the mayor's of all twenty Villages. I tell them I plan to drop off 200 million to each village hall or village heads house. I also let them know I would be announcing this to everyone outside. After I did that everyone started to thank the Straw Hats. But Luffy just ignored them and kept partying. Eventually people just started enjoying themselves. Truly for the first time in a long time.

Later that night I noticed Nami had slipped away a bit ago. I decided to go after her and see Bellemere's grave. Walking slowly I eventually came upon Nami before Bellemere's grave on the cliff. " Hey Nami. Is that Bellemere's grave? " I ask already knowing.

"Oh, hey Jonny. Yeah it is sometimes I come out here and tell her about what happened. I felt she had to know about soon. It's not weird right? Talking to a grave? " Nami asked looking self conscious with her arms crossed rubbing them.

"Of course not. What were you talking about? Anything about me?" I ask back cheekily.

" I was talking about the Amazing Pirate Captain and Crew that came in saved me and the Villages. All just because we were friends. I was telling her how I'll be leaving soon to join that crew. How I'll help that Amazing Captain become the King of the Pirates. I may have mentioned a meanie first mate but not much. " She says passionately before ending with a wink, pulling down one eyelid and sticking out her tongue. After that she ran away seemingly embarrassed. I sit there a few minutes before Luffy comes over.

" Oh hey Jonny have you seen any melon over here?" Luffy asks looking around.

" Nami's all grown up now Bellemere. She has someone else to protect her smile. I guess I no longer need this pinwheel. " Genzo says before taking off his pinwheel and attaching it to her grave. Then with a tear slipping away he left.

Luffy and I got back to town with him getting his melon. I saw Nojiko off to the side and decided to try recruiting her. " Hey Nojiko. How are you doing? "

" Its amazing. It feels surreal. I almost can't believe that happened, but I saw the remains. " Nojiko said.

" What do you plan to do now Nojiko?" I ask her.

" With Nami leaving. I'll probably just tend to our tangerine grove. I've never thought about if Arlong was going. He has been a fixture all my life." Nojiko looks a little dazed.

" Well have you ever thought about going out to see I saw you with your shotgun. I could teach you how to shoot better and I could even get you hand guns like mine maybe even a rifle like mine if you are up for it. " I say catching her off guard.

" Go to sea with you guys? I've never thought about leaving the village. I have to watch over Bellemere's Orchard." She says a little sad.

" If you want to come with us. I can hire villagers to watch your orchard for the next 1,000 years if you want. If you want to come nothing is holding you back. If you have a dream or wish to go on the ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME come with us. I promise to protect you until you get strong enough. I was as weak as you are now, maybe weaker, two years ago. The talk with Genzo was quick I had already planned to leave an extra 500 million for her village anyway. He said there would be a volunteer sheet that he would run. He said the thankful people of Cocoyashi would never let that grove die. I left the money in his office in town hall. Then I went to the other 19 towns and game then their 200 million. The next day passed partying. While everyone partied on the last die I transported the Trees and dug up Nami's treasure putting it in her room. I felt she worked hard for it all these years.

The next day we prepared to set sail but the sisters were missing. Until Nami appeared at the back of the crowd " Set sail! " Nami screamed as loud as she could. She started running through the group of villagers. They were yelling about not getting their goodbye in. Before nami kept onto the deck of the ship as it started sailing away. " Goodbye everyone. I'll never forget you. " She yelled back to them. Then she lifted her shirt and everyone's wallets fell out. She stuck her tongue out, one eye shut, a tear trailing down and pulling the other eyelid down. She was like this until we couldn't see the Villagers then she started gently sobbing.

" Why are you crying Nami? " Nojiko asks.

" Its just I didn't get to see Nojiko before I. Wait Nojiko. What are you doing here? " Nami started feeling down before her mood did a 180.

" Well after talking with Jonny. He found people to watch the orchard so I could come too. As long as it's ok with you Captain. " Nojiko starts before turning to Luffy to finish.

" Shishishi. Sure. As long as you want it'll be fun. " Luffy says laughing on his special seat.

" Wow Jonny did you really get them to agree? " Nami asks seemingly surprised.

" Hahaha of course Nami they all volunteered to do it. Even people from other villages signed up. That was before they knew I left your village an extra 500 million bellies. " I was going to continue hut I was interrupted by an pair of lips on mine. Before I could start moving she had pulled back.

" Ahem. That was because of our bet. Not because I was happy about the money for Cocoyashi. " Nami says pointing cutely turning her head away.

" Where was I. Oh yeah Nami that 90 something million bellies. I figured you should have it so I put it in your room. " I said this time prepared for the impact. Nami launched at me but this time I caught her and deepened the kiss. THis time she was unprepared for when my tongue entered her mouth and started playing with hers. I managed to make out with her for 2 seconds before she started kissing back for 5 seconds. Then she seemed to snap out of it and pulled back. I let her but gently nibbled her bottom lip as she pulled back. Her breathing slightly heavy.

" Hey don't play with fire. if you don't want to get burned. " I say as I walk to my room. The trip should only take 3 days. Soon we will be able to leave to the Grandline. I call Garp and tell him we will be close and the state of our prisoners.

Luckily I got Nojiko caught up on our workout style and got her a gravity belt, throwing knives, two pistols like mine and an M1 Special. Our days passed simply just training. Eventually we see Loguetown in the distance.

Docking I gather up the heads in a sack, my voucher for Alvida, then strip our prisoners of any marine insignia and lead them to the naval base. I ask Zoro to come with me and tell Sanji to just have all the food sent to the ship I'll store when I get back. Luffy said he was going to the execution platform. I figured I could talk Smoker out of caring.

Coming up to the marine base the prisoners try to yell but a look quiets them down. I go forward to a guard and ask him to lead the prisoners to cells with no talking to them until Smoker comes. Next I asked for someone to lead me to Smoker immediately.

Walking into Smoker's office I see wafts of of smoke float around his semi-dark office. " So you must be Jonny that Garp won't shut up about. He was even angrier about losing you to the pirates than his own grandson. " Smoker said taking a puff off his cigars.

" You must be Smoker the Marine Captain in the East Blue with most wasted potential. " I said sneering at him.

" Watch your mouth you may have Garp's approval but that doesn't matter here. If I want to catch you no one can stop me. " Smoker says matching my sneer.

" Really then try. I would love to show you a fraction of the power I gained in two years. I use to be an ordinary citizen but I trained for two years and got this strong. " I said staring him out.

" White out!" Smoker yells as jets of smoke attack Zoro and me. I quickly use Soru and Armament Haki to completely batter him not giving him a moment to breath until he is almost knocked out.

" See you've become cocky just because you are a Logia. But as a marine you should know that's not the end all be all. " I say as I help him back into his seat. Before leaving the bag of heads I say " I wasn't trying to be cruel but this was the only way to show you how far you can still go. You're stagnating here. you should transfer to the Grandline. Leaving there I lead Zoro to Ippon's Weapon Shop. He quickly picks out Sandai Kitetsu he checked his luck and won over the sword's will. Afterwords Ipponmatsu came out with Yubashiri. " Here you can have this it is the best sword in my whole shop you can have it for free. You a true swordsman deserve it."

" You can't run a business like that old man. Here is 5 million unknown its probably double their worth. But you deserve it for being so kind." Then I place the money on the counter. As we are leaving we can hear the shop owners celebrating their luck. Then I send Zoro back to the ship. I want to look for Dragon.

Looking for him near where Luffy is I eventually locate him with my Haki. Trying to appear non-threatening I approach him calmly from down the street.

" Dragon, I've been looking for you? I have a proposition for you. " I say smiling with my hands near my head.

" And what would you want with me? " He asks looking down at me with his serious face.

" As you know I'm traveling with your son. But you might not know we have a partnership secretly with S.W.O.R.D. . We will give them evil pirates and corrupt marines. They will give us information when we need it. I want to do something similar with you. Instead we will tell you of countries that you can help. That in the future can help you. This way you grow larger. All I want is Den Den Snail to contact you incase we need help or information. what do you say? " I ask hoping he will say yes.

" Hhmm while I dislike the marines. My old man is still reliable alright we have a deal. " He says as he pulls out a black den den snail and hands it to me.

" Oh yeah you have a high ranking soldier named Sabo right? " I ask.

" Yes, I do. Why? " He asks looking confused.

" If you got him near dawn island 7 years ago and has blonde hair. He is probably Luffy's adopted brother. Luffy and Ace thought he died. You should tell Sabo and have him meet us in Alabasta. After that we go back to the ship and load up all the supplies Sanji bought. He must have spent at least 10 million bellies but it should last us at least a few months. Even with Luffy eating for ten.
