"What the….? Didn't GOD said he would give me a <Perfect Body>? Did he scammed me?", Alexis questioned as he remembered that he asked for a perfect body to learn knowledge easily.

Alexis tried to click on [ ADVANCED FIGHTING KNOWLEGE ] and the same thing happened again.

Alexis tried [ INTERMEDIATE FIGHTING KNOWLEDGE ] and same thing again ,

"Damn! Nothing is working!", Alexis said while sweating , scared that his dream would shatter.

But just as he was about to lose hope , he saw [ GIFT ] section with a '1' icon over it to the right side on the system screen.

Alexis clicked on it and he saw a mail like notification.

He clicked on it and this time a golden-theme system prompt opened.

[ DO YOU WANT TO COLLECT THE ITEM? ]

Seeing the content of the mail , Alexis started breathing rigorously and corner of his lips lifted upwards.

"Hahah....so that's how it is. I should go home now! Who knows what might happen and what if someone sees the magical thing happening? You never know! As the saying, ' Precaution is better than cure'.", Alexis decided to go home.

Alexis opened his house's door and saw his sister Alexa was standing there with her arms crossed.

"Where did you go?" Alexa asked.

"Nothing, I slept during the evening and woke up now. So, I decided to go to park to take some fresh air.", Alexis replied honestly excluding his System's adventure.

He didn't tell her about the existence of <System> not because he didn't trust her ,he just didn't want her or anyone to get involved in unnecessary trouble because of his actions.

Although GOD didn't told him that whether he can tell other about his system experience but he decided not to cause who knows what might happen if he tells anyone about it. And as someone who loves his family dearly, it's the least of the least thing he would ever think of. And rather than getting his family in trouble he was willing take it by himself.

"Oh!", Alexa exclaimed as she get the answer and didn't think much.

"But what are you doing this late? Don't you have to go school tomorrow?", Alexis asked her.

"Huh! I was studying and just finished now and saw that you were not in your room. So, I wondered did you go! And you should go take a shower , you reek smell of sweat.", Alexa said as he covered her nose.

"Oh..Okay! You should also go and sleep otherwise you would have big dark bag under your eyes.", Alexis joked as he moved towards his room.

Alexa wanted to say something when Alexis closed his rooms door. Seeing this Alexa angrily stomped her foot on the floor and went to her room.

"I should proceed with assimilation in the bathroom . What if dirt like black gooey-substance comes out of my body during assimilation like those in novels and comics.", Alexis removed his clothes and went to bathroom.

Alexis turned on shower and soaked himself in running water.

Alexis called out <System>.

Ding!

A rectangular bluish semi-transparent futuristic type window opened in front of his eyes.

Alexis clicked on [ GIFT ] section and then on mail.

A golden-themed window appeared in front of his eyes.

Alexis clicked on [ YES ] button.

After clicking on [ YES ] button , a red-theme system prompt popped up.

[ IT MAY HURT DURING THE PROCESS. PLEASE BEAR WITH IT AND TRY NOT TO LOSE CONCIOUS ]

[ DO YOU WISH TO PROCEED ]

[ YES ] [NO ]

Seeing warning like prompt , Alexis seems to halt in his thoughts.

Hooo!

Alexis took deep breath.

"It's now or never!", Alexis made his decision and clicked on [ YES ] button and placed his hand in his mouth to not make any noise.

[ Assimilation commencing... ]

[ Starting now! ]

A jolt of pain assaulted Alexis body. It was like thousands of red ants crawling in and out of his body while getting electric shock at the same time.

"Mmmmhh!"

"Eeemmmh"

Shwaa!

Shwaa!

Pain started to increase by every second and this time it was like thousands of hot-needles poked in him.

Alexis started to lose conscious but he bit his hand strongly to not lose his conscious.

Crack!

His bones started to make sounds as they were adjusting themselves while leaving a trail of pain. It was no less than a trauma but physically.

Black gooey like substances started coming out of his body just as Alexis predicted while giving a horrible smell. It was so smelly that it wouldn't be a surprise if a mummy wakes up after smelling it.

Just by smelling the smell , Alexis forgot all his pain and seems to want to puke but he held it.

600 seconds later----

After what it seems like eternity the pain dissipated and all the black substance went through drainage hole.

Haff!

Alexis took deep breath after going through the intense torture.

Alexis checked his body and surprised.

"Wow!", Alexis now had an outline of abs and his muscles and body looked refined it was no less than tempered steel which had gone through different stages.

Clench!

Alexis clenched his fists and he was able to feel the power which he never had. His muscles were tight , still thin but they were also little pumped . His thin frame now had muscles. If one were to look at him they won't able to tell the difference between his past self and now. The changes were so slim. And his pp's size also increased, if previously it was 4 inches now it was 6 inches. And as a male how can he not be happy about that.

And all his previous injuries and bruises marks disappeared.

Just as Alexis was examining his body , a system prompt popped up.

Ding!

[ Body assimilation… 20% completed! ]

"What the…..The pain and torture which I went through was only for 20% ?", Alexis questioned and he was also sweating .

Gulp!

Alexis gulped down a mouthful of saliva as he thought what would have happened if he had assimilated 100% at one-go.

"Then, wouldn't I had be dead by now!", thought about the possibility.

"Thank god it stopped but how do I make it continue." Alexis said as he started looking for 'continue' or 'resume' button but he was faced with wall of disappointment.

" System, continue assimilation! "

"System, commence assimilation! "

Alexis tried series of commands but nothing worked and at last, he gave up on thinking about that for now.

"Let's forget it now! I tried everything but it not moving. And it's not like it is going somewhere" Alexis cheered himself up.

Alexis soaked himself in water quickly and removed any dirt and sweat and moved out of the bathroom.

Alexis changed into new set of clothes and sat on his bed and called his system.

"System, status", Alexis said as he wanted to check changes in his body.

Note*: A normal full grown adult has a constitution of 10 . It may not have a balanced stats as some may have more STR while some may have more AGI than others. 10 is a base line for any normal full grown adult who don't have any fighting experience.

"Wow! So I am 2 times more stronger than a normal full grown adults or I can now defeat 2 normal full grown adults with my stats.", Alexis got excited by seeing his stats.

After that Alexis went to [ KNOWLEDGE ] section.

And Alexis also get to know that with his body assimilation of 20% he can download any [ BASIC ] level knowledge or he has access to any [ BASIC ] level knowledge with his 20% assimilated body and any more than that will lead to severe headache or in worst cases he might also die because although his body has evolved/changed but it's not fully to that level where he can handle large influx of information.

[ BASIC KNOWLEDGE ] was equivalent to high school level

[ BEGINNER KNOWLEDGE ] was equivalent to university level

[ INTERMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE] was equivalent to university professor(PhD holder) level

[ ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE] was equivalent to scientist level.

[ PEAK KNOWLEDGE] was equivalent to best of the best in that particular field on the planet.

After getting the gist of the situation , Alexis didn't feel disappointed instead he was thankful that there were restrictions otherwise he might have been dead by now.

After sorting his thoughts, Alexis clicked on download button next to [ Basic Fighting Knowledge ].

A large amount of fighting knowledge entered his brain. Whether it's weapons or bare handed fights ,he got all the information about it.

He learned different basic postures of different fighting styles in the world like Karate, Taekwondo, Muay-Thai, etc. while he also learned weapon handling like gun reloading, recoil control, basic swords posture and movements, Kali Arnis, etc

After 120 seconds, all the transferring of information stopped.

"Wow ! That's a lot a knowledge for something named [ BASIC ]." Alexis assumed that it would be basic about things but reality was different. It does not only include basic postures but techniques also .

"System, Status!"

Alexis called out his [ STATUS ] screen to check his stats but what he saw shocked him.
