Voltoire fell into the trap

King Thurssa was waiting excitedly for Sienna's letter. He felt like an impatient schoolboy. This female made him feel a range of weird and wonderful emotions. He was feverish, felt the tension in his stomach and was a bit scared to open her letter. "How amusing." he thought.

When Mehrat finally delivered Sienna's reply, Thurssa opened it impatiently and read her poem first. Then he looked at the golden ring with a soft flower around it. "She is soft like a flower and the gold is too heavy for her."Thurssa made up his own meaning, but it was something similar Sienna would make up too. He decided to design her a ring embroidered from the softest silk. He sat down in his chair and sighed. He felt his heart flutter like never before. He decided he is going to see her.

In the Sarcos's tent, Voltoire and Magnus kneeled on the soft carpet. Sid was angrily standing behind them with the sharp double sword in his hand."Please let me kill them, your majesty, I'm sure they conspired with the Spider King to bring him the queen.

"No," pleaded Voltoire, "it was just an accident."

"And you snatching the queen from me was also an accident? She was begging you to let her go! I heard it!" Sid looked at him with disdain.

"I did not hear anything, it was a strong wind. I thought she likes to go on the trip," said Voltoire innocently.

"Liar."Hissed Sid.

Sarcos looked at their exchange of sharp words. He knew Voltoire is guilty, but he had still a few uses for the flying warrior.

He turned his cold face to Magnus. He did not have any use for him.

"What you have to say for yourself old man? How could you let Sienna enter the city? "Sid was furious at him.

"I was chasing after them to call him back. Rem is my witness. I was trying to help."Magnus cried out and bowed his head to the ground. He knew clever Sarcos saw thru their plan. The packet of medicine fell out of his pocket.

Sid picked it up quickly. He opened it and smelled the context. He picked one neat white pill. "It's a sugar pill!"Sid exclaimed angrily.

"He pretended he is ill and sent our queen to fetch the water." Sid handed a neat packet of medicine from Magnus to Sarcos.

"I have low blood sugar!"Magnus tried to save himself.

Sarcos looked at the pills, "What an interesting plan. What should I do with you sir Magnus?" he looked darkly at him.

Voltoire wanted to save Magnus."I can go, and try to take the queen now if she goes to the gardens."Voltoire offered.

Sarcos nodded." Good at least I can watch how their flyer traps work. Hopefully Sienna will be able to save your life and send me a letter thru you. "Sarcos nodded."Go now Voltoire."

The sun was hot in the afternoon, so Sienna was walking in the garden when she noticed a vulture flying high. Somehow he managed to sneak in. She knew it is a trap for her if spiders let him pass. She tried to hide and ran inside, but Voltoire was so fast and grabbed her in his talons."Let me go, Voltoire. "She begged him in terror. I can't leave my sun."She pleaded with tears as he ascended at fast speed. Suddenly the huge spider webs shoot onto Voltoire's wings and they both were falling down to a huge spider web, which appeared out of nowhere. Sienna felt the thud, she stuck on the sticky web like a little fly next to Voltoire and was terrified. Sienna hated touching spiderwebs feeling and cried in horror. Voltoire changed into his human form and tried to cut them free, but the soldiers changed into their spider forms and climbed the huge web at lightning speed. Sienna screamed in terror."Don't touch me, don't touch me!" and covered her eyes with her hands.

"Change to men at least!" Samuel, who ran after Sienna, shouted at them and went to retrieve her by himself." It is me, Samuel. Sienna, calm down."

Sienna collapsed in shock in his hands. He carried her to the king. Voltoire followed behind them with his hands tied behind his back. The spider soldiers held him tight. Sienna got calmer in Samuel's presence and he was able to stand her up. The king who was in the gardens looking for Sienna was watching everything. He saw how Voltoire caught her when she ran from him begging him to let her go, and her horror from his soldiers.

Voltoire in his human form stood behind Sienna. The soldiers held him tight. The king slowly approached and looked at the vulture warrior with disdain." Who are you, to try to steal my treasure?" he asked him coldly. Sienna was scared he will have Voltoire killed. She fell down on her knees faintly and pleaded for Voltoire's sake."I bow in the dust for the sake of my friend, the one who shielded me from the angry snake, the one who wiped the tears from my eyes and served me well. O glorious king, forgive him for my sake, so he did not know my heart change its course to yours ports and that your sight is my sun I can't part with no more. Let's send him back with a letter to end this discourse, so we can play, party and dance with a happy mind forever in the embrace. "Sienna did her theatre-like actions so well, even Voltoire watched her captivated. She is a talent indeed. The king was so pleased. This queen really understands him, she is so poetic. She is his perfect match. He should keep her around longer and make her immortal after she bears him offspring."I will grant your wish darhling, I will send him with your letter, let's go write in now."The king offered her his hand to stand up and lead her to the decorated gazebo. The servants brought them soft silky squares and fabric ink. They mostly used silk tissues instead of paper. The paper was in books only and was bought from other tribes. Sienna smiled and wrote her letter with big pretty letters and added some drawings as well. It looked and sounded very theatre-like. Thurssa was sitting next to her looking at what she wrote and he felt satisfied. He will save his city and get the queen as well. Voltoire who stood with two guards behind them was confused but sneaky enough to understand what Sienna was trying to do. He would just follow her instructions. Sienna dried the letter and fold it neatly. Then she gave it to Voltoire."Please my friend take this letter for my peace so, I might be free to love my sun. This will be your last service to me, dear servant. Farewell. "She held her forehead dizzily and averted her eyes from him. Voltoire looked at her and bowed. Thurssa nodded that Voltoire can fly out. Voltoire changed to vulture and get-up high in the sky, then straight to Sarcos's camp. Thurssa stood up and held Siena's waist, she looked so frail and unstable it made him salivate. She leaned on his shoulder helplessly and waved Voltoire goodbye. Thurssa led Sienna to a small settee and lay her down. She looked faintly, so he brought her a sweet-smelling salt and waved a fan to her face. He watched her long black eyelashes, she looked even prettier than in his painting. He wanted to see her blue eyes again." Sienna, woke up my darhling, is all gone now, "he called her gently."Oh, lala, so many emotions must be hard on my darling." he whispered to her. He touched her soft cheek lightly. Sienna felt a cold shiver on her arms every time he touched her. She saw him as a dangerous predator behind the colourful mask. She always saw that huge spider biting his concubines whenever she looked at him, even though she tried to forget that picture hard. She knew she had to pretend to be weak and let him touch her casually to make him to bond with her to stay safe. She flutter her eyelashes." Thurssa" she whispered faintly. The Spider King held her hand at his lips."I'm here my dear." Sienna opened her eyes slowly and looked at him in the most feeble way she could manage, which was really hard due to her strong like tiger eyes. She figured out it will be probably not believable, so she tried to look at him with admiration and kept her eyes half-closed. Thurssa liked her short gaze, it look like she need him and trust in him. His predatory instincts were satisfied, he is turning her around his finger slowly and steady. His thin lips curled up. He kissed her hands slowly and by seeing her seductive blue eyes, he reached out to kiss her alluring pink lips. He was getting close slowly till he could feel her faint breath. Sienna closed her eyes.
