Chapter 5

It was morning already, so I woke up and prepared for the class. I don't want to be either too early or late. Unlike commoners and most of the noble, every person from an important family had a room to them selves. I also had one luxurious room to my self. It was pretty satisfying that I don't have to deal with room mates. Probably, I won't have any friends. But it was fine cause I don't have any time for that.

After doing all the preparations, finally it was time to move. I slowly closed the door and locked it. One of the big challenges in this life, I was really nervous getting. I took a deep breath and let it out. "Academy!!! here I come!!!"

I walked through the crowd towards my class room. Lot of them already seems to notice me. How can they not? Cause I am the infamous son of the great Alexandria family and I was absent for weeks.

"Londo... is that you?"

The question came from behind, so I turned around. A beauty with dark blue hair was coming towards me.

"Livia?"

It was Livia. Londo's childhood friend. And also she was not alone. Sam, our male lead was with her. Male and female lead together? Just great.

"Hi Londo...."

"Oh! hi..."

I remembered to return the greetings.

"Londo, are you fine?"

"Why do you ask?"

"I mean, I haven't seen you for a while and I thought after what happened last time, you will be sad..."

Sure, it really is the female lead. She was always conserned about others and tried to help everyone. But, the heck!! Don't she understands that she is just putting salts on my wounds now? And everyone else is staring at us.

"....So all I wanted to say is I am sorry and I also wanted to introduce him to you."

I was already tired of her blabbering and I wanted her to stop. I used my right hand to grab one of her hands. I could see she was shocked by my sudden action and saw her blushing. But now Sam was staring at me. So I also grabbed one of his arms with my left hand.

"What the..."

"Livia, I understands what you are saying."

"You... you do?"

Liviaa was still blushing and Sam seem to be totally confused.

"Yes, and I only have one request of you"

"Request? What request?"

"Please make sure.... Please make sure to invite me to your marriage!!!"

I made sure to say that out loud.

"What?!!"

"What?!!"

What can I say? Even the protagonist was taken a back from my countermeasures. Avoiding trouble at the easiest and effective way. That was all just I am doing.

Both Livia and Sam freed them selves from my grip and took several steps back from me. Like I guessed. Everyone around us already started gossiping. Both of them were blushing like crazy. Well lovebirds, that's it for today, See you later.

"Bye.."

I waved my hand with a smile and then walked away. I am sure they had nothing to talk to me anymore. It was pretty satisfying. I should get out from here now.

When I entered the class room I saw a lot of familiar faces. Only familiar to Londo. But for me they were all unfamiliar. Now they were all looking at me. I tried to act as usual Londo. I ignored all their gazes and walked towards my seat. My seat was near the window at the back of the class. It was a quite place and it was perfect for someone like me. But, but why is she sitting there??

A beautiful girl with crimson red hair was sitting there. Her appearance clearly showed that she was some big shot. I stopped infront of the seat. She was looking outside through the window and her eyes clearly showed she was bored. But even so, for some reason I felt those eyes attractive more than anything. It was so beautiful. I snapped out from my daze and called out to her.

"Hey..."

"Hm... What?"

She gaze calmly fell at me.

"If you don't mind, that's my seat"

"What do you mean? It was empty for a week"

Looks like she already got attached to the seat.

"That's because I was sick and was at home, resting"

I kept saying what came to my mind. But for some reason, I felt it was all a bad idea.

"Do you know who I am?"

"Why do I need to know that for? I am just politely asking for you to return what's really mine"

She smiled and got up from the seat and took the seat next to that.

"If you really want to sit here, you'll have to sit beside me"

It wasn't that of a big deal. I'll just have to accept it and finally when she get annoyed, she will leave. Or so I thought.

"Then please excuse me"

Without a single care in the world, I shamelessly sat besides her. She was shocked. She never thought I would sit beside her. For some reason, she wasn't the only one shocked. The whole class was shocked and the started murmuring. A boy and a girl sitting together wasn't that of a big deal. There are so many people who already sat like that. Then why are they causing such a ruckus?

"Hey did you see that? He really sat near princess Alice!!"

"Yeah, I can't believe him. I really thought he was the shy type..."

Princess.... Princess Alice?!! Now I clearly remember. Those crimson red hair and eyes, how could I forget that? Alice, the daughter of the neighbouring country, name's king. She was here to study in our academy as a simbol of friendship between two countries. Because she was from a different country and because of her status most people avoided her. She didn't care about it that much. The only thing she cared about was her country. At the later stage of the novel she will became a ally of the hero. Nicknamed as the "Red dragon princess"

My eyes glanced at her and I gulped a mouth full of saliva. What is wrong with me why would I argue with someone liked her?

When I glanced at her again, I saw she was now staring at me with a smile. Yup...I'm dead.
