Chapter 5 James Potter

James sat anxiously in the waiting room, his mind racing with worry for Sirius. The nurses had been in and out of the room, but they hadn't given him, Peter or Remus any updates on Sirius's condition.

James glanced at his watch and saw that it was already past midnight. Peter was asleep next to him, and James couldn't blame him.

Looking through the window, he saw that his mother had also fallen asleep, and his father covering her with his coat.

James noticed that Remus was still awake, determined to wait for news about Sirius. James knew that Remus wouldn't rest until he knew anything about Sirius's condition.

James briefly considered offering to switch places with Remus so he could get some fresh air or rest, but he knew it would be pointless. Remus wouldn't leave Sirius's side for anything.
