Douxie POV:

We walk through the corridor and hallways till I find the door of our meeting area. I open it as everyone walks in.

"Well that went better then expected" I say closing the door behind me

"Are you kidding?!"

"Jim's in prison and I'm a servant of a sorceress who tried to kill me" Claire complained

"Even worse I can't get a signal" Steve grunts tapping his phone and waving it around

"Well technically she hasn't done that yet" I reply

"I don't care! Where not supposed to be here"

"We should be home, together, helping our friends in the present, their present, the future, Whatever!" Claire yells sitting down with her hands buried in her face.

"We can't return home yet"

"Look, Merlin always insisted we never mess with time, we'll have to find a way back without screwing up history, or there won't be a future to go home to" I explain calmly

"Aw man! Just like in that movie! Future warrior 3 when the robots killed Alfred Einstein" Steve exclaims

"Yeah exactly" I sigh

"So, how do we get home? You're the wizard expert here"

Before I could say anything, the door opened it was Laylah. Morgana was behind her.

"And what do you think Merlin would say?" Morgana argued

"Look, don't you think I'm more than capable?" Lay replies bluntly

"It's not that you're not capable, but the wild wood is under the protection of the trolls and you were lucky to get away with stealing Lancelot's sword"

"Yes sure, but if we are going to work together then why are you worried about Arthur, yeah sure he's the king but trolls and humans should be equals not enemies"

"Lay I get were your coming from, but there is nothing we can do at this point in time"

Laylah sighs "Fine"

"Merlin wants you in the workshop in 5 minutes I'll be there to about this amulet, but I have to grab somethings beforehand" Morgana said closing the door.

Laylah sighs and looks at us.

"Hey sorry for keeping you"

None of us replied.

"What?" She asks

"You look stunning" I manage to say. I was speechless.

She was wearing a short black dress with at the neck band floral seeming. She had her hair down with the front strands tied back with bobbie pins.

She blushes.

"Uh, thank you" She smiles

I start to blush back.

"But really converse shoes with that?" Steve chuckle pointing to the shoes

Laylah rolls her eyes.

"Well I like them, and it gives off a bit of my style, dresses aren't exactly my thing"

I standing up and grabbing both of her hands and smile.

"You look lovely"

She blushes even harder now

"Thanks, Doux"

"Back to the question, how do we get home?"

Laylah and I look at each other and our eyes lit up.

"The time map, it's here with Merlin!" We both yell

We both look at each other a smile.

"JINX!" We both yell again

"Ok sorry sorry, Douxie you tell Claire" Laylah said

"The time map could show us the way back to the present without damaging the past" I said

"Then, what are we waiting for dumble dork? Let's go get the time thingy" Steve replied

"What about Jim?"

"Lake's probably safer down there than we are up here"

"It's settled, we'll play our roles and stay out of trouble while Lay and I get that map"

Laylah POV:

Douxie and I walked along the sides of the castle outside. I looked up at the sky and smiled. The sky was clear with a couple of clouds in the sky. The sun hit my skin. It made me feel warm inside as well as on the outside.

"What are you looking at?" Douxie asked walking beside me.

"Oh, I was looking at how pretty the sky is"

"Not as pretty as you" Douxie smiles

I didn't what to say. Douxie was being really sweet. I felt my cheeks heat up a bit

We soon heard the sound of Merlin's voice from the upcoming room. We quickly hid and slowly peeked our heads around the corner. To only find our past selves in front of Merlin.

"Hisirdoux, do you have feet for hands, All the Slorr juice? You know how long it takes to milk one of those?"

"Sorry, sir I was just trying to save time"

I was sitting down near the corner where we were peaking from. If we made a single sound we would be caught by me.

"Lay, your supposed to be helping Douxie" Merlin complains looking over to where past me was sitting. Douxie and I quickly ducked back so Merlin didn't see us.

"No Merlin, you asked me to supervise but never did you mention that I had to help Hisirdoux" I say in sync with past me

Douxie looks at me

I giggle. "Sorry I remember this very well"

We popped my head around the corner and so did Douxie

"Ugh, that hair was a mistake" Douxie says with a disgusted face

"I agree" I say honestly

"I remember this, your cutting corner has only cost me time, it's hard enough creating Arthurs new weapon without your mucking about" Douxie said impersonating Merlin's voice

"I need you in the workshop, and your milking the slorr" Merlin said walking down the hallway and into his workshop on the other side.

Past me leant on a nearby wall.

"Well, here's hoping this doesn't break the time space continuum" Douxie says rubbing his hands together. It was time for action. We ran into the room and Douxie went after himself and so did I.

I grab my past selves' shoulder and covered her mouth. She grabbed the arm I was holding her shoulder on and flipped me in the air. I landed on my feet. She took out her sword and so did I.

"Doppleganger!" Past me and Douxie gasps at the same time

"You're me, I'm me!" Past Doux yells

"So, your me?" Past me says

I nod

"Huh" She says looking me up and down

"No need to panic" Douxie says trying to explain to everyone, and by everyone, I mean his past self.

"Well, how-how wait this can only mean one thing"

"Time travel paradox" The four of us say

"Double Douxies! And Double Millers!" Archie says looking around.

"Give me a break Arch" Both Douxies says

I roll my eyes

"And It's Laylah" Past me and I say

We both look at each other

"So, people still can't get it right" Past me asks

I shake my head

"Nope"

"Let's just focus on the here and now, where having two of us would be…"

"Will be a logistical nightmare" Archie finished

"And well…" Archie says looking over at both of us.

Past me and I were in the same standing position.

Archie decided not to finish his sentence

"I agree, so the easiest solution" Past Douxie asks

"Is for one of us to go away till I return to my time" Douxie says rolling through his magic bracelet

"Great Idea! But which one of us?" But before Past Douxie could finish Douxie placed a sleep spell on him

"Interminus nocti sluumberso"

"What?" Past me exclaims

But before she could do anything I put her on the same spell. I used my magic to add a pillow to my neck and put her in a near by closet. Douxie did the same.

"I know this looks bad, but I swear I've got this under control" Douxie said to Archie and I walked over to him

"If that were true, things in the future have really changed" Archie declared

"Haha, just don't go blabbing to Merlin, okay?" Douxie laughs sarcastically

"We need to stay incognito" Douxie says backing up into the wardrobe past douxie was in. He bumped into it and past douxie fell out.

"Fine, this should be fun to watch" Archie agreed
