Visiting Carmen

Alex tried to remember everything Claire ever said about love. She had said something about how love was strong affection and you could love a lot of people but only be  love with one at a time because they were the person you loved the most. 

He had been confused because at that point he knew she loved Daisy the most and she was a cat, not a person. She had tried changing her definition after that but got frustrated because it was all too clinical to explain such an emotional phenomenon. 

Was that really all it was? The person you are in love with is the person you love the most? Because by that definition he was absolutely in love with Claire. 

She had said it was a flawed definition though. There must be more to it that he hadn't figured out. He really did need to talk to Ray about all of this but wasn't sure when he would have the time.
